Lancs Police make things a whole lot worse, referring to mental health, victims support, who also no help, as if were desperate backlog 6-8 mnths also PSD, passed to by IOPC say independent? No matter how serious & overdue will get off as a law unto themselves, vindicated every time, inevitably ends up with complaints ovr bad policing totally unprofessional, downright discriminate, ignorant and like Daily Mail says Rotten to the core' disfunctional, if the boss has got away with deplorable actions for years on major cases, who cares about any citizens even if senior,single and was suffering with mental health .....also make worse .....

2nd update still no response says it all, bet they would soon respond if it was there disabled family member in this situation again just another govenment dept thats not fit for purpose............Update...ifof this is true this is your opportunity to explain your side, if you dont then it is obviously true..... I am registered disabled and I get my car scratched 3 times, i get 3 malicious communications through the post because the b doesn't have the bottle to say it to my face, they threaten to hurt my dogs by "putting treats that might hurt them where i walk them", and one of the mal comms said i would be hearing about not picking up dogmess, which i always do, and a dog warden called saying someone had said i dont pick it up and the warden knows who contacted them but wont tell plod and worse still plod wont ask who it is, to confirm who sent the mal comms, they take one of the mal comms for fingerprinting and "no prints at all were found" not even mine, and i cant have the mal comm back, and they wont confirm they have taken photos of it, obviously to much trouble to make a phone call to the dog warden to confirm who it is, my flat has been broken into and i am still waiting for them to call two years later, yet i put a note on my flats notice board and plod calls saying i had put a note with detrimental litriture on it, which i didnt and surprise surprise the note has gone missing so they cant prove it when i asked to show me, obviously they have it, seems to me they are not very competant in there looking into crimes, so much for vunerable people in the community being put first, and as for there professional standards dept who are useless, the officer takes your complaint then you ring up a month or so later for an update and low and behold the officer has supposed to of left the force and not passed the case on to be looked into, so you ask can you lodge the complaint again and they cut you off, as for the chief constables office they write to say they will write back, then when get no reply you chase it up and no reply from them, then they have the cheek to say you are a serial complainer because of the amount if mails you write, if they answer first time
you wouldnt have to write for a follow up till you get an answer, useless, no wonder crime in on the increase criminals dont have to worry do what they want plod wont do anything, to much paperwork no doubt.

Unworthy prejudicial system..

I reported hate crime and road incident via the emergency number. I am not going to go through the lengthy story but in short, another citizen is now allowed to call another citizen names of hate and the response from Preston police officer was nothing but ignorance and to close the reporter crime as 'it does not meeting the threshold' for investigation'. No wonder there is a huge division amongst our society these days topped with nothing but empty trust within the police system...
Lesson learnt for the future...
Another great way to show no support to tjr People that need it the most. A simple insult for sure and a reflection not to use them at all. I'm sure time would make one forget and forgive...

At a time when the British government are asking people no telling people to socially distance themselves; charging police with enforcing this to ensure the only family groups get together to prevent the spread of COVID-19 one of the senior officers has decided that he makes policy and not the government.

Two days ago I had cause to call the police because a group of people congregating on the promenade in the dark near me, I could hear voices in the dark. I called the police telephone number and was told they would not send anybody as a sergeant had decided not to send anybody out to groups of less than 10 people.

The covid-19 virus is particularly pernicious, if you catch flu of the time it's passed through 10 people infected 14 people most of whom go on to live.

If you catch covid-19 the time is passed through 10 people 59000 people are infected, about 11700 of these end up in hospital and 1700 require intensive care of these about 345 would probably die.

In actual fact shortly after my call 11 people walked across the road from the darkness, 11 people each with the possibility and capabilities of infecting 59,000 others EACH putting both public and NHS lives at risk !

It is not it is not the place of Lancashire Constabulary to decide how the law and regulations of this land are applied, they exist simply to enforce OUR LAWS and protect the public.

Central Government they made a decision and the police should be there to enforce that decision to protect the public and not to facilitate the spread of this virus.

People are speculating as to why 2-3 weeks after lockdown the number of new covid-19 cases continued to rise unexplainably in Lancashire - with this police policy you don't have to look far.

At least one head should roll through this stupidity !
