Despite repeated requests fir my case to be habdkes and confirmation of a mortgage deal, I was kept waiting and waiting, until the house I wanted was sold to someone else. Completely incompetent

Used a 3rd party conveyancer who took a long time to process so we ended up on a varialble rate which cost us £700. When we complained L&C's "complaints team" told us it was our fault. Would not recommend.

I had a great experience with L&C, especially my mortgage advisor, Brendan. He was professional, efficient, and genuinely lovely to deal with throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood my options, and was always happy to answer any questions I had. His support made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable.

I would definitely recommend using L&C, particularly if you get an advisor like Brendan.

The only feedback I’d give isn’t about Brendan at all, as he was excellent. The only downside was receiving quite a few calls from other members of the team about additional products like home insurance and life insurance. I completely understand these services are offered as part of the process and can be helpful, but the number of calls did feel a little excessive at times.

Overall, a really positive experience, and Brendan was outstanding. Thank you!

honestly cannot recommend Ismail highly enough. Buying my first home has been one of the most stressful experiences I've ever gone through, especially as I was navigating the entire process on my own. At times it felt overwhelming, and there were so many things I didn't understand. As I kept saying throughout the process, *I'm just a girl trying to buy her first home!* But Ismail was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

He was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring, and never once made me feel like any of my questions were too small or too silly. No matter how many times I asked for clarification, he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with every decision.

I am so grateful for all of his hard work, dedication, and professionalism. I honestly don't think I could have got through this process without his help. I've used L&C several times and they remove all the hassle from a complicated and important financial process. They're incredibly efficient with clear communication throughout.

From the first step of filling in a mortgage calculator online getting a distinction in principal straight away to getting my mortgage application accepted took less than two weeks.
Stephen Brownless was professional with all his advice and got the best deal to suite my needs. Stephen also put me in touch with other services related to buying a new home. This was smooth and seam less. .

I am very pleased with the service provided by the mortgage broker. The process was handled efficiently and the service was satisfactorily fast. The brokers were professional, responsive, and did their work very well. They guided me through the mortgage process clearly and made everything much easier. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and professional mortgage broker.

I’ve used a different mortgage advisor before and wasn’t happy with the service I was getting and tried L&C, we went through everything on the phone and they said there service was free and I was a bit sceptical about that but next day they called me with a mortgage deal and asked if I was happy to proceed with the mortgage deal and I was they also provided a solicitor option which I looked at and proceeded with and it was a lot quicker and straightforward than previous one I used before. Everything is done through a portal which is very easy to use and L&C and my solicitor has kept me updated and I feel that this process is going a lot faster than the previous broker service I used and paid for, so I would recommend L&C and it’s free!

L&C itself was great, and it looked like I was on track for another seamless mortgage renewal. Unfortunately, the experience changed once I was handed over to the recommended conveyancer. I’ve had to repeatedly provide information I’d already given to L&C, and communication has felt disorganised, with reminders for documents I’d already submitted. It’s a shame, as the conveyancing experience has let down what was otherwise a great service. Based on this, I’m not sure I’ll use L&C again.
