Randi Nix and Team was able to cut through the IRS computerized penalty notices, get $5K of penalties removed and bought me about 4 to 6 Months to pay down enough to negotiate an affordable monthly plan that would allow me to pay down my IRS Balance. Rui and his team were great. I never used a tax servic before,so didnt really know what I was getting into. We made a plan and followed the plan. Rui or one of his team kept me informed or just checked in on me during this time to keep me updated. Everything they they said they were going to do, they did, in the time that was projected. They not only saved me money but also saved me having to deal with the IRS which is usually not a pleasent experience!

Don't Make the same mistake I did!
Hello!
I was having tax trouble and hired Larson to help, and at this point I deeply regret selecting their services. To make a very longer story short, I owed taxes and I wanted them to help me reduce my tax debt and either get on a payment plan or pay if off in one large lump sum in a timely manner. That did not happen, do yourself a favor and make a better choice than I did. Read below for my experience.
1. I was told their services would take 3 to 6 months, but it was over a year when I hired someone else because they were not doing their job.
2. They would ask for me to submit documents today and not actually look at them until 3 to 6 weeks after I turned them in.
3. I provided all documents they requested in a timely manner and they would continuously lose them and I would have to resubmit them.
4. Often I had to fill out IRS forms I was not familiar with, and no one would help me look them over to confirm I did them correctly. I would have ask someone to please help me, and they still would barely do it.
5. The second manager I had (I had two) continuously tried to charge me more money to finish the job, even though we were months outside of our time line and I had not received any of the services I paid for originally. He wouldn't even answer simple yes or no questions
6. My biggest issue is my debt was not negotiated down on my behalf and Larson did not offer a payoff "according to my tax offer" I spoke with after I hired a new company.
7. The communication was bad, they gave me no clear instruction on what to do in most cases and sometimes I would go weeks without hearing any updates. Their company also does not do a good job of communicating with each other.
8. I requested a partial refund because of my overall experience and lack of services rendered, but I was denied. They basically told me what I was saying wasn't true even though it clearly was, so I just wanted to let other know of my experience so they can make a better choice than I did.

Our Resolution Process:
As a standard practice, we evaluate every client’s unique financial situation against the full spectrum of IRS resolution programs. Our goal is to find the most effective path to compliance and resolution. However, IRS programs have strict eligibility requirements:
*Offer in Compromise (OIC) Limitations: An OIC is not a "negotiation" or "horse-trade." The IRS follows a formulaic approach. If a taxpayer's net equity in assets meets or exceeds their total liability, the IRS typically deems an OIC non-viable.
*Transparency: We believe in discussing these options in detail so our clients have realistic expectations of what the IRS will and will not accept.
Status of the Current Matter:
Upon reviewing this specific client's financial disclosures, our team identified a strategic resolution path that, while different from the client's initial expectations, is projected to save them tens of thousands of dollars. With the client’s explicit authorization, we have finalized and submitted this resolution to the IRS. We are currently awaiting their formal response.
We understand this client has other representation to follow up on the resolution submission, and we hope it is readily accepted by the IRS.

I got the sense that Larson tends to focus more on larger cases. My balance wasn’t tiny, but I sometimes felt like I wasn’t a top priority. With Anthem Tax Services, I never felt like my case was too small to matter.

I can't express highly enough the appreciation I have for the girls that have been helping me at Larson tax relief!! Years of Loyalty Betrayed – $20K+ Wasted, No Results, and Complete Disregard from Larson Tax Relief

As expected, Larson posted a scripted response that avoids accountability and tries to discredit me. Let me be clear: this is not a threat—it’s a factual account.
I paid over $20,000 in the past 12 months, including $5,500 in 2025 alone, and received no resolution, no meaningful updates, and little communication. When I reported identity theft, a Larson rep laughed—an unprofessional moment they’ve never addressed.
They now refuse to refund even the $5,500 paid this year, despite failing to deliver any actual service. If they truly cared about client outcomes, they’d acknowledge the breakdown and offer a partial refund at minimum.
I urge others to read the 1-star reviews on Google, Yelp, BBB, and beyond. You’ll see this isn’t an isolated case—it’s a pattern. I regret not doing so sooner.

I was a loyal client of Larson Tax Relief for years—and I now deeply regret it. Over the last 12 months, I paid them more than $20,000 for tax representation. And what did I get? No resolution. No progress. No communication. And no refund.
Let me be very clear: Larson completely dropped the ball, over and over again.
By late 2024, communication had already started falling apart. I would go weeks or months without a response. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, assuming work was being done in the background. But I was wrong. Absolutely nothing was happening—except more invoices showing up, demanding more money.
Between January and July 2025, I paid them $5,550. I received nothing in return. When I finally asked why nothing was moving forward, I got rude, dismissive responses.
The worst moment? I told one of their reps that I was the victim of identity theft, and that I couldn’t file my personal taxes because my Social Security number was stolen. She laughed at me. Let that sink in—laughed.
Eventually, I had no choice but to move on and hire another firm. I requested a refund for the 2025 payments based on zero service delivered. On July 25, 2025, Larson replied saying they wouldn’t refund anything. Instead, they referenced internal billing records—as if that erases the months of silence, missed deadlines, and total inaction.
I stayed with Larson far too long because I thought they understood my case and starting over would be too difficult. That misplaced trust cost me thousands of dollars and years of delay. I feel taken advantage of, disrespected, and ignored.
They’ll continue to bill you long after they’ve stopped doing anything meaningful for your case. If you ask for accountability, they’ll gaslight you, dodge responsibility, and blame everything on you.
And yes—they’ll probably file a rebuttal to this report filled with more of the same scripted excuses they’ve given others. But don’t take my word for it—do your own research. Read the 1-star reviews on Google. Go to Yelp, ComplaintsBoard, BBB—read the worst-rated reviews, the ones that sound exactly like this one. It’s a pattern. It’s not just me.
I only wish I had read those reviews three years ago. It would’ve saved me money, time, and a mountain of stress.
