Lovely setting, room was clean and tidy, comfy bed, nice warm shower. We took two camping chairs with us as nowhere to sit which we knew before we arrived. Great location for exploring the area.

lastminute-cottages.co.uk is a catch…
lastminute-cottages.co.uk seems to be a catch all of numerous cottage sites for getting the specific dates I wanted, precise location perhaps not so important in our case. I liked the ability to identify 'non-partner' cottages (to eliminate *booking* through a very large platform who've I've had bad experiences with before and vow never to book through again).

Great easy site to use
Great easy site to use! Done in a jiffy and relieved the confirmation emails straight away...I'd previously tried to book a cottage on VRBO, slow, glitchy, kept having to enter details over and over so this was great. Thank you!

Absolutely immaculate lodge
Absolutely immaculate lodge. Everything we needed was there. Lovely quiet area for walks. Enjoyed the log fire and cosy feel. Ordered a take away curry which was dropped off at the front door. Great for dogs, lovely fenced off area for your dog to have a run around.
