Lovely setting, room was clean and tidy, comfy bed, nice warm shower. We took two camping chairs with us as nowhere to sit which we knew before we arrived. Great location for exploring the area.

No 1 THE GLEN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE OF A BOOKING
Booked this caravan for short break after reading the reviews,
Arrived just after 1500 and left 1630.
The caravan is so run down it’s in need of a full refurbishment, the cupboards are badly painted with a beige colour paint and missing handles, the bed has a cut down piece of foam under the mattress protector, we sat down on the sofa and it collapsed inwards, the drawers are filled with junk including a vape that the daughter found everything in cheap a second hand by the looks of it, toilet seat doesn’t fit, the sealing around the bath is coming away and black mould in the corner.
Outside on the decking the furniture is old rusted and has holes in the seat, I would not use it as it looks very unsafe, weeds on the decking?.
The kitchen sink emptied out under the caravan were there is they have stored junk and old furniture and also the fold down bed ? Just left out there ?, the water and junk is attracting flies so main door needs to be closed.
The patio’s doors don’t open, why ? The key hole is covered up with gaffer tape, overall the accommodations is in a really poor and we feel unsafe condition,
They charge £583 for 4 nights and we stayed just under two hours.
Don’t book the caravan especially if you have kids !
We found out through digging through previous reviews that these conditions have been reported before and nothing done to resolve them.
PLEASE, if you want a nice clean caravan at seaton sands book anything but this disaster.

Brilliant site
I found lots of suitable properties all in one place that were clearly available and matched my criteria. The search process was great and the booking process seamless.

Courtyard Barn, Gladestry
Booking through Last Minute Cottages went very smoothly, thank you!
But when we arrived, the house was cold. There were only electric heaters. When we turned them on the fuse blew, I couldn't find a fuse box. Tried to ring the landlord but phone switched off. No heating. No cooking, no kettle. We left to get a meal. Landlord made no attempt to answer the multiple missed calls, Sykes (the agency) switch board off till Monday morning!
We headed home.
Sykes, initially said they couldn't help because it was a "walk out" but on my insistence they "investigated". Apparently the landlord told them that he returned by 7pm (we didn't leave until about 7.30)
Eventually, Sykes have offered a small discount on another booking with them.
BTW we are in our late 70's

The Devil of Liverpool!!!!!!!!
The Devil of Liverpool!!!!!!!!
I could have written a book about it, but I’ll stick to the introduction.
Are you ready? Here we go!
This is the first and last time I’m coming to this city because of that rat hole we called home for 10 days.
First off, the kitchen🤮🤮—if you want to catch the hantavirus, go right ahead… just spend less than an hour in there. The fridge smells like expired cheese.
And don’t even get me started on the dishes—none of the residents ever wash them!
The trash was never taken out; the floor, ovens, and stovetops smelled like oil that hadn’t been cleaned in 10 years.
Now for the bathrooms: the bathroom we used on our floor didn’t even have a shower door anymore—needless to say, we had to shower in the open. Some of the residents even stole our shower gel.
The shower drain was terrible; an astronomical amount of hair was left in the shower.
One small positive about the room was that it was at least decent. However, the TV cable is too short, so the TV is useless because we can’t even plug it in.
I’ll get to the bottom of this: the lady with the tattoo—yes, you, ma’am—I’ll remember you. Wouldn’t it occur to you to knock on the door next time instead of breaking in?
We hope to receive an apology from the host, given the conditions of this accommodation,

Absolutely filthy
Absolutely filthy, had to clean for the 1st 3hrs I was there. Bought new bedding and towels. Disinfected it from previous occupants pubic hair , toothpaste. Shower was disgusting. Mould in fridge and food. Animal hair and foot prints on the bed, the towels and bedding smelt that sicky damp smell. Smelt awful in there like a cat had urinated in the bathroom.
Couldn't use tap had to use bottle water ( when id cleaned the bathroom sink, a big lump of black mouldy gunge had become unplugged out the tap - made the water come out better!!!!)
Bin liners up at the glass door, so I could leave the bathroom to get to bed without being seen in a towel or getting dressed.
Owner didn't give a monkeys how dirty everything was. Sent photos and showed how dirty the crockery was! Didn't care at all.
Parking isn't on the drive, your out on the street, was woken up because a lorry needed to get through to farm. Which is a regular occurrence apparently. There was room for 2 cars, but owners don't seem to want to share.
