I've now used lawnsmith for a number of years after previously being a customer of a lawn care company with disappointing results. I now only use lawnsmith products and advice and have never been disappointed.

Excellent Service, good product with quick delivery and useful advice on web.

This , in my experience , is a genuine quality company.
I have taken their advice and bought products from them for over 5 years now and have found the advice, particularly for the lawn , to be genuine and produces results. Frankly , I would not go to any other source.
At 87 yrs. of age they help me keep a good lawn !

Lawn seed and a large bag of topsoil.
Both worked well for me and performed as expected.

I have used lawnsmith for many years and have had nothing but excellent service. Their products do exactly what it says on the tin as the saying goes. Their products do lawn updates are very very good as unlike other suppliers the information is not only relevant to the sunny south but takes into account the colder wet Scotland which is very helpful. Prompt delivery and excellent products

I have purchased winter lawn feed, lawn seed for clay soils and summer feed also hand operated lawn seed/feed spreader always arrived promptly and of good quality would certainly purchase from Lawnsmith again.

Not really had any problems with the service provided but I wasn't happy with the Extra Long Fertiliser for sandy soil so I submitted a review but that has not been added to their website. If they are showing customer reviews/ratings on their site they should include ALL reviews and not just selected positive reviews. I'm sure it's not only Lawnsmith doing it but this underhanded practice needs to be stopped.

We purchased 2kg of lawn seed and starter fertiliser. We thoroughly prepared part of our front garden for re-seeding using top soil and lawn sand mix 50-50.
After 8 weeks there is no sign of any germination and the re-seeded lawn is still bare.
Prior to this we purchased seed from B&Q which germinated using exactly the same preparation. Would not recommend buying grass seed from this company

Shocking service. Paid for a next day courier delivery (£7.50). Six days later still no delivery. It turned out they never sent my order with a courier despite charging me for a courier delivery! Instead they posted it with Royal Mail three days after the order was placed! Or so they claim as I am yet to see my order. Never again will I use this company.

Their new website is a disaster. All my order history has been deleted so I can’t find the products I use and they are even making me change my password. When I try to do that the website won’t let me and says it is a Catchpa problem! They have lost my business.

Don't buy the lawn aerator. It's no different from the cheap ones on ebay, the tines aren't tapered, they aren't very long and it blocks immediately unless you have free draining sandy soil..... Which if you had you certainly wouldn't be using a lawn aerator for compacted soil. Quick delivery for £5, no paper invoice, amateur grade quality and design

Really POOR service!
I am a LTD company and Lawnsmith refuses to provide me with a VAT invoice UNLESS i register/create an account with them!!!
I have never, ever had that problem; every company I have ordered from has always provided me with a VAT invoice upon request, but never I had to create an account to retrieve my VAT invoice!
Customer service doesnt want to do ANYTHING!!!
ONLY after threatening to report them to HMRC, they sent me straigt away my VAT invoice!

Trades you are warned, this company has NO sense of simple customer service!

First time AND last time I order from such a company who has little respect for their customers.

Used before, always good advice on lawns and products first class.
Delivery excellent, highly recommended.
