Not a qualified psychologist. Or qualified anything.

Miranda Banks was my psychologist as well as my daughter’s for 3 years.
She is not a qualified psychologist. She has a BA in English Lit and Psychology.
She is unaffiliated to any board and so none of these boards can take any action against her (I went to all of them - BACP, BCP, HCPC). The only thing that could happen was the HCPC forced her to remove the word clinical from her website as she has no doctorate. She started one and dropped out. She has no supervisor. She works completely rogue and is accountable to no-one which is completely unethical in this industry where vulnerable people are at risk.

She worked with me, my daughters, my sister-in-law and my husband - crossing so many ethical and moral boundaries.
She is also dishonest. She claims to be a qualified marriage counsellor. I had no intention of divorce at all yet trusting her with everything, she manipulated us all. She was married at the time and cheated on him with my (very wealthy)husband who is now my ex and with her in a relationship. She wreaked havoc on my family.

My children, particularly my eldest daughter, are still not recovered. It was horrendous. We were manipulated and groomed to ensure she secured her prize. She denigrated me to my children all whilst posing as my cheerleader and best friend during our sessions.Beyond cruel. She is still working with vulnerable people who have no idea she fabricates her qualifications but more importantly is a dangerous and self-seeking individual.
