enrolled with Learning People about a year ago and paid roughly £4,000 to complete courses in Project Management, Agile, and Change Management. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing and nowhere near what was promised.
One of the main selling points was their claimed 98% success rate in finding employment. In reality, this feels very misleading. It has now been a year, and I am still actively looking for work with little to no meaningful support from them.
The quality of the course material is poor. It’s heavily based on self-study with little structure, no consistent check-ins, and minimal support. For the price paid, I expected proper mentoring and engagement, not to be left to figure everything out alone.
A major issue is the lack of practical, real-world training. There was no meaningful guidance on using key project management tools like Jira, no proper explanation of Gantt charts, and no exposure to real-life project scenarios. This leaves you unprepared for actual roles.
The recruitment support was equally disappointing. The platform they provide mainly advertises senior-level roles, which is completely unrealistic for someone coming out of an entry-level course. When I raised this concern and asked for better alignment with entry-level opportunities, nothing changed.
When I tried to get guidance, I was told they “can’t apply for jobs” on my behalf—which completely missed the point. I was not asking them to apply for jobs for me. I was asking for proper direction, strategy, and support in navigating the job market. Instead, the help provided was limited to basic CV feedback with no real follow-up, job search strategy, or meaningful career guidance.
The workshops are also very basic and don’t add real value. There is no support in building a project management portfolio, no real networking opportunities, and nothing that genuinely helps you stand out to employers.
Overall, this has been a waste of £4,000. The service lacks depth, practical value, and genuine support. I would strongly advise anyone considering this provider to think carefully before committing.

I’m extremely disappointed with this Data Analysis course. My experience has been frustrating from start to finish, and I honestly regret enrolling.
First of all, the support is practically nonexistent. Whenever I needed help, it felt like I was left on my own. For a course that promises guidance and career support, this was one of the biggest letdowns.
On top of that, I feel like they use misleading information just to sell the course. Many of the things they advertise simply aren’t true in practice. The expectations they set during the sales process do not match the reality once you’re enrolled.
What made things even worse was how they handled my personal situation. I went through a very difficult time — my father was hospitalized, and I had to undergo a serious surgery myself. I explained clearly that I wasn’t in a position to continue the course at that moment. Instead of offering real support or understanding, the only solution they gave me was to delay the course by six months. This didn’t help at all — it only made things more stressful and complicated for me.
Overall, the course lacks empathy, proper support, and honesty. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable or supportive learning experience.

I enrolled with Learning People for…
I enrolled with Learning People for multiple CompTIA certifications including Network+, Security+, A+, and PenTest+. Unfortunately, my overall experience has been disappointing.
While they do provide administrative support (such as booking exams and checking progress), the most important part — technical support and structured learning — is lacking. The course content is not well organised, and at times it is difficult to understand, especially for beginners. Much of the learning ends up being self-study.
They require you to achieve around 80% in internal assessments before sitting the exam, which is quite challenging without proper guidance. Despite paying a significant amount, I felt that I had to rely on my own effort and external resources to actually prepare for exams.
The platform and materials also feel outdated, and there is limited real instructor support when you need help understanding technical topics.
In my opinion, if you are going to study mostly on your own, it may be more cost-effective to use online platforms (like Udemy or similar), which offer structured courses at a much lower price.
One important lesson I learned is to carefully read the contract before signing. Once you commit, it can be very difficult to exit the agreement.
Overall, Learning People may be suitable for non-technical courses, but for technical certifications like CompTIA, I would advise others to think carefully before enrolling.
