Do not use this company

Do not use this company. They are toxic charlatans . I made the grave error of getting them to come to fix my Aga last year , after charging an exorbitant fee for two visits which cost nearly £900 they failed to get it working. They gave me totally wrong advice and said I had to get the flue cleaned and a certificate then they would come back for free and complete the job. Just how they figure the it’s ok to charge £900 then say it’s free is anybody’s guess . I got another company in to do the job for less than half the price and it has worked fine to this day. I got my credit card to refund my money using the chargeback process . Nine months later in Feb of this year this scumbag issued a claim against me using the county court. LE Engineers started sending email headed Legal team when I knew it was just him and his missis masquerading in this role. They inflated their bill to £3000 and thought they could intimidate me by a threat of court action. I’m pleased to say the hearing was last Friday and I won , their case was dismissed. I don’t know how such a dishonest company can be allowed to operate and that having not taken part in the chargeback process set by Amex they where able to small claims me . They are totally despicable .

Deeply Unprofessional and Dishonest — Avoid at All Costs

We hired LE Company to collect, assess, and repair our expensive Napoleon grill. After inspecting it on-site, their engineers accepted the appliance into their van without raising any objections. They even took photos and video and answered our questions about the condition and functionality — all of which they confirmed was fine for assessment.

Then the nightmare began.

Days later, they reversed their position completely, claiming the grill was now “unfit for inspection,” refused to issue a report, and attempted to return it without explanation. On top of that, they threatened to charge us £71/day in storage fees for keeping it in their own vehicle — fees we never agreed to.

We requested a refund and a proper explanation, as no service was delivered. We were met with radio silence.

Looking into public reviews, it’s clear we’re not alone. There’s a disturbing pattern of withholding appliances, changing terms mid-job, and demanding extra fees. Their conduct raises serious concerns about ethics and legality.

We will now be escalating the issue to Trading Standards, the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman, and are preparing legal action.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Terrible company to reach out to

Terrible company to reach out to. Their emergency service is the slowest possible with their online chat tool, clearly not working. Janette promised to look into the problem for us, but Alexandra, is an absolute nuisance to the customer, truly being unwilling to help! Stay away as much as you can and if Alexandra replies, know that you are done!

Absolutely Terrible Company

Absolutely terrible company - Do not use.
Sent me quote for repairing my coffee machine. When they arrived to collect it they said it would be double the original quote even though I had given them the exact make and model. When I asked them to return the machine they said the work had already been done.
You cannot get through to anyone on the phone. When you call the reception they say 'someone will call you back within 2 hours' - no one ever does. I must have called 6 times with no call back.
They have basically taken my coffee machine hostage and are not returning it - they haven't sent me an invoice to pay and are not replying. So they've stolen my coffee machine?
I would recommend not using this company - my heart sank when I read the other Trustpilot reviews about this company of people who've had the same experience.

Terrible terrible experience

Terrible terrible experience. They took my Gaggenau coffee machine for repair with agreed cost of £250, but called me to say they couldn’t repair it so were asking for double the money.. when I asked them to return the machine it took them ten days to do so and it turns out they brought me back another machine in a terrible damaged state! So probably repaired and sold mine for a good profit… will have to take them to court now.
Please do not trust!!!!

Fraudulent company

They charged me 3 hours to fix my freezer at almost £700. They left saying it would be working again in 2-3 hours and it never did. When I called and requested they rectify this, they refused and said it would cost me another call out. They ask you to send complaints to an email address and never get back. When asked what happens to those emails and they said 'we consider them'. Apparently they have a disclaimer that they can't guarantee fixes. So £700 down, still with the same broken freezer. Not worth spending any more on it. Don't use these guys and if you do don't pay them until they've done what you've booked them for, they are very extremely underhand.
