Pretty good
Pretty good. So far it's fairly easy to use. I worry about packers getting in and getting my stuff because I wouldn't lose my secret phrase or login. So someone would have to take it for me to have to get the subscription where they say, what if you lose your ID?

Just to help ease your concern: your crypto is not stored on the device itself, and no one can access your funds without either your physical Ledger device and your PIN, or your 24-word recovery phrase. If someone were to get access to the package or the device alone, they still wouldn’t be able to move your assets.
Regarding identity or subscription-related features, these are optional services designed to help in very specific situations, but they’re never required to keep your crypto safe. The most important thing is exactly what you mentioned: keeping your recovery phrase secure and private.

Ledgerpremium is illegaal and criminal busy.
In my previous review, I unnecessarily accused Ledger of stalking and scamming. This accusation should be forwarded to Ledgerpremium. It's a company that pressures people to invest in Bitcoin and the like through them. If you want to leave, they become stalkers. I get calls every day. They're abusing Ledger's good name. I block all the numbers, but they call from a different number every time. Their email address is 'support(@)lpremium.support'. They don't answer, but call you right away to pressure you again. Their website is client.ledgerpremium.com. Their numbers start with +3185208… Don't answer, but block their number and mention cramming. Perhaps Ledger can silence them by using their company name without permission. You've been warned.

I used the swap feature within Ledger…
I used the swap feature within Ledger Live, with Changelly as the chosen provider. Immediately after, my funds were frozen by Changelly for a "compliance review." I cooperated fully, providing every document they asked for promptly.
However, my case then entered a black hole. For months, there was no update, no ETA, and no final decision. My funds were simply held in limbo. When I contacted Ledger for help, their support team repeatedly stated they are "only an interface" and could not intervene or assist, even though this partner service is actively promoted within their software. This complete lack of accountability left me feeling abandoned.
My experience exposes a critical flaw: Ledger provides no effective customer protection when their chosen partners fail. After exhausting all standard support channels over several months, I was forced to issue a formal legal notice on December 4th to get any movement. Only this drastic step prompted a resolution through alternative Changelly discord support channel ("discord. gg/39rhx2DU")
While my transaction was finally completed, it required an unacceptable amount of stress and escalation. I cannot trust this integrated service and will never use it again. I am sharing this so other users understand the very real risk of having funds held indefinitely with no support from Ledger.

My name, Address and Wallet type exposed to public
Ledger literally in 2026 exposed my names, address, wallet type (as someone who purchased a Ledger from them directly) was lost in a data breach. My Name, address and what hardware wallet I purchased. So I await people at my door with wrenches to rob me. Thank you very much! I am already getting targeted emails and phishing within 2 weeks of the breach. You should be ashamed. Why did you not email me to tell me about this.

I’m following up here because I have not received any meaningful update for some time, and the situation remains unresolved.
The core issue is that the Ledger Live integrated partner (Changelly) has kept the funds under “compliance review” since Dec 2023 with no ETA or final decision, despite full cooperation and document submission.
Could you please confirm that case #00223297 is escalated to the appropriate partner/escalations team, and request from Changelly either:
1) a concrete completion timeframe, or
2) a refund to the original sending address if they cannot conclude the review?
I can provide any additional details privately through the ticket.

I took part in a fund recovery service and tried to use the ledger device to receive the funds. It failed and l lost thousands of dollars. I'm pretty pissed at ledger right now and have nothing good to say about their cold storage device.

This is the worst device ever, I literally transferred all my crypto onto a brand new sealed box ledger and within 2 weeks all my crypto was gone. I never done anything wrong all my seed phrases were locked away in a safe but yet still I was whipped out.
Never never never use ledger they are the biggest scam. Even when I reached out to them they said there was nothing they could do and that I was the one at fault. DO NOT TRUST LEDGER. all my savings have gone. I literally left my crypto in an online wallet for 7 years and nothing ever happened. I’m not saying they are any better but I’m definitely saying do not ever buy a ledger cold wallet.
