Years after years, parking is still crap. Too much waste of time. Have visited so many theme parks they prioritise children but was disappointed by staff’s lack of empathy.

Most of the baby rides were closed but…

Most of the baby rides were closed but full price was still charged. The food outlets were mainly closed. The slot machines for attractions took your money but didn’t work. Lots of building work going on and ugly rides rotting away that haven’t been opened in ages. Complained and they said it said on the website that a selection of rides only was available.
It wasn’t a reasonable selection on a full price ticket.

If i could give 0 stars I would

If i could give 0 stars I would. Booked overnight stay and 2 days in park for the megical christmas event. I contacted legoland in Sept with regards to ride availability and mainly flight of skylion and led to believe it would be open. I booked and found out in November that 4 of the major rides were closed for Xmas event. Plus no santa on hid sleigh and the park being very un festive. I called customer services who said I could cancel for 20% cancellation fee or move to a different day but would have to pay the extra also needed to pay £15 per person for the extra day in park as the current promotion was for new customers only. Where is the customer service gone!!!! I already have 2 very upset children the least they could do is honor my booking for a later date. The reviews for the Christmas event are that its a disgrace and complete waste of money. I have paid over £400 and now making me pay more to move. THIS IS NOT CHRISTMAS MAGIC! WHAT IS GOING ON??? we went last year and it was magical, hence why we booked again. Never again, will be taking my custom elsewhere. They only want your money!!!

Overnight festive break

Booked 2 day overnight festive break and majority of major "indoor" attractions are closed for maintenance. These were all open the previous year at this time. Would only offer refund less 20%. Awful customer care after sales. 2 distraught boys

STEER CLEAR

STEER CLEAR! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
STEER CLEAR! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
An absolute waste of money!
Merlin is out to take as much as they can from you with no regard for you, your children’s welfare or overall experience.

My family & I visited (595921067) Wednesday 13th August (3 x adults & 2 x children)
The entrance was £205
The parking was £18
The Reserve & ride £145
And £100 on a small lunch & ice creams!
A total of £468 for the most awful day out we have ever had.

My grandchildren were very disappointed with the experience and much preferred Dreamland we visited a few days previously!

4 rides all day! The queue times were ridiculous. Most rides had a queue of an hour, or over, and the more extreme rides up to an 1h 45mins which is simply impossible with young children!
The app was reporting rides “unavailable”, or “Queue FULL” or "OPEN - Upgrade only" see my pics in trip advisor.

I spent ALL day looking at my phone & map, trying to book my grandchildren on at least 1 x ride in each sector with little success whist we try to work our way around the park.
The Rides were either full, closed, or Upgrade only.
I didn't get to see my grandchildren on any rides or take photos as I was glued to the app and web browser all day trying to book them on rides.
And I am very tech oriented!

BEWARE: “Reserve & Ride" does NOT allow you to experience every ride. The APP is constantly trying to take your money by selling you upgrades to rides that should already be included.

It's not possible to plan your day using the Legoland APP alone. You constantly need to switch between the APP and the Legoland website when tryig to book your ride slot.
The App is very battery intensive, so either ensure you carry a power bank or have it setup on your partner's phone as well. A new fully charged iPhone will not make it the whole day as you WILL find yourself on your phone for the complete day trying to find available rides.

What I found astonishing is that many rides had only one member of staff managing it. That's locking you into seats, running the ride then unlocking you out of your seats, this is going to lead to an accident at some point. For a park that probably take over a million a day in revenue during holiday periods, they can't even manage to add another member of staff to some rides to make them safer.

I read the reviews on trip advisor before our visit.
I am not a person to be influenced by reviews, so thought I would check out the experience & judge for myself.
What a mistake.
The Trip Advisor reviews were all absolutely spot on.
DON’T IGNORE THEM AND THINK YOU KNOW BEST!

They really should be limiting numbers into the park on busy holiday days.

I can believe that Merlin is getting away with this, it's an absolute disgrace.
What they offer is not what you receive.
What you pay for is not what you get.

Owing to this, I will be looking for a partial refund.

Lacked the Magic!

We went to legoland windsor on Monday of October break it was very busy some queues were 100min. I encountered two members of staff one doing rubbish collection snapped at my child for where she put the rubbish which was in a bin and the other was at the chicken hut. Machines weren't letting us order what we wanted were coming up error so I stood at counter another man behind me with same issue it was like we were invisible! I had to lean over the counter and ask for service where a tall girl reluctantly served us and was so rude being very snappy like we were an inconvenience. The lockers only take cash a pound coin I went to three different staff members asking if there was an atm and they said no card only so we proceeded to bring our rucksacks with us and through the day came across a machine that changed notes that staff aren't aware of! My daughter enjoyed her day but I didn't get the wow factor I expected.

Poor value and customer service

I bought a digital photo pass before our visit. Due to the age of the children we only went on one ride where we could use it but encountered issues with accessing the photo. There was no staff at the photo desk to help and after emailing several times regarding removing watermarks on the photos, I've has no positive result.
We took the children on the haunted house not realising what the ride did which traumatised one of the children (we had tried to research before hand but the website wasn't clear). When we left the ride there was a bubble wand stand which we though could be a good distraction until we saw the cost of £20.
As it was our child's birthday we opted to buying a meal at the pirate restaurant. After finally finding somewhere to sit and receiving the food, the burgers were cold and ques far too long to bother exchanging. Over all a highly expensive and disappointing day!

Great day out

Went on a blue light card day. It was great, busy but not too bad. Had an access card so jumped the line, longest wait was 20 mins.

Food was fairly priced considering it's London.

Visited today for the Halloween event…

Visited today for the Halloween event and it was totally underwhelming. Staff were rude and unenthusiastic, majority of food and snack outlets were closed and most of the queues were in excess of 60 minutes for rides. This place is tired and in need of an overhaul, we’ve visited numerous times in the last few years and it’s gone downhill rapidly, it’s very dated. I doubt we’ll go back.

QUEUE land!

Awful! Way too busy. It’s an absolutely joke. You pay all that money to get in and then you have to queue 1 hour plus for rides with people who have paid extra for fast track cutting the queues adding to your wait time- it just doesn’t seem fair at all. Very disappointing. When are Legoland going to sort it out?

Very disappointed this time

Very disappointed this time , we visited in Easter holidays and had a better experience then this October . The Ques for rides were ridiculously long waiting times , from 10 am till 5 pm we did 4 rides , the deep sea , monster house , speedway and fly lion . Qued over an hour for every ride , the lion ride was 2 hour queuing time , reserve people were filled up 4 lanes on the lion ride and normal Que only 3 lanes which seems unfair . We stayed in the village lodge for one night also had food in the clubhouse extremely overpriced for what you get . £22 for a very simple burger and small handful of fries . £5-£8 for a drink . Family of 4 cost us over £100 just for one meal each and one drink each . The lodge itself was lovely and clean . I don’t think we would return again due to the park being so overpriced just to be able to go on very little amount of rides .

Legoland Windsor was an utterly awful…

Legoland Windsor was an utterly awful experience, plagued by severe overcrowding. The number of people admitted is simply far too high, making the park feel unmanageable and unenjoyable. Waiting over an hour for most children's rides is unacceptable, especially when factoring in the short two minutes spent on the attraction itself. That ratio, particularly with young kids, is not worth the hefty admission price. I would not return or recommend this park at all. If Legoland imposed a sensible crowd limit to guarantee a truly enjoyable visit, I might reconsider. Don't go, people—you'll only regret the wasted time.

Queues from Hell

Although the rides and the overall park are good the queueing times are ridiculous bearing in mind you will be there with young children. We didn’t go on half the things we had planned to as we didn’t want to queue for up to an hour for a 3 minute ride. It’s my opinion they let far too many people in. On the basis of these queues we wont be returning

Awful, avoid!

Honestly one of the worst and most expensive days out we've ever had. The queues were so long we were there for 7 hours and went on 4 rides, none of which were anything spectacular. Food and drink is extortionate, £72 for 2 adult burgers and 2 kids mini pizzas. £13 for a face paint which left the kids upset as we refused to waste money on them. Really disappointed, our kids didn't have a good time at all. Shame on you Legoland.

Brick or Disgrace?

Brick or Disgrace?
Visited on the 27/10, when park was at 99% capability. Average queue times 70 – 120 minutes, for the high-end attractions.
Arrived 09:20 went straight to Ninjago queue, ride broke down after two cycles, everyone in the queue was told to leave.
At approximately 11:20 went to Haunted Monster House Party, ride broke down advised, manager would attend and issue fast passes, 20 minutes later no manager told to go to guest services at top of the hill, given one priority pass each, approximate wasted time 2 hours, plus a walk up the hill as hill train wasn’t running.
Park was due to close at 17:30 at approximately 12:00 we were told park would remain open until 18:00.
At 17:15 went on Flight of the Sky Lion explicitly asked operator, this ride closes at 18:00 “Yes” I was told, and we just have to be in the queue by 18:00 (as per previous years) “Yes” I was told.
Went to do Fire and Ice (which broke down!)…
Went back to Flight of the Sky Lion at 17:40 was Closed. Several very unhappy customers present, one highlighting the app showed it as open, one who had been sent from the Minifigure Speedway (10–15-minute walk) having been told it was open, and ourselves who were told what we wrote above and many more similar stories.
The very junior manager of that area, who was significantly out of his depth and lacking people skills, basically told us (in corporate speak, which I have translated) “We did you a favour opening the rides later, it was too busy so we closed it early, but our T&Cs basically allow us to do what we want”. (Noting historically like all decent honest theme parks if you are in the queue at closing time you get a ride this has always been their policy).
This clearly upset people, who given the disrespectful way we were treated, were all very polite but clear that we wanted a ride as advertised, and further highlighting several of us had children with autism and we have to carefully plan social stories, which is why we had fact checked everything first and further the ride was just going on it would be easy to run one more cycle were ignored while he disappeared to phone his manager (which I don’t think he did… see later).
Any way he then decided to disappear and send in security which caused significant upset to several children when all we did was ask the manager to come and explain to them why they had been betrayed. Security told us they had been called as we were aggressive, everyone in that line was firm but polite, so sadly more lies, no integrity, disrespect to customers, and really terrible thing to say in front of our children. The camera footage shows this clearly….
Security then broke the law, by filming us with declaring this, which is going to result in a ICO complaint, to be fair two of them apologised stating they did not know the law, the third one was rather aggressive, did not apologise, and said we were trespassing very aggressive in front of children, some of whom were crying at this point,(bearing in mind we had paid money to be in the park!).
We all returned to the top of the hill escorted by security to meet the manager, he was beyond terrible, a really awful person, who needs to reflect on how badly he let guests be treated, more of the corporate nonsense, translated: “We can do what we like and I really don’t care if your children cried as lots of people had a nice time” a little integrity and actually going “you know what, yes were really have got this wrong and I’m sorry, we will make this right for all of you, was what was called for, all we got was, “I can see there have been some communication issues” and further filming without being told, so law broken twice!
“Communication Issues” under statement of the day.
What was even better he asked us what had happened which given he was on the phone with his very junior manager he didn’t actually know, very suspicious and somewhat unbelievable.
If any of my friends from Monday evening read this, I’m sorry we couldn’t persuade them to be decent human beings and I was truly upset to see so many children crying at a family park, with zero compassion shown by the staff, we tried our best, but you can’t argue with corporate people without empathy, compassion and a decent moral compass I’m afraid.
In summary the reliability was diabolical the leadership atrocious and the overall standards significantly down ride availability worst ever, no monster street, very disappointed. Left a complaint at guest services, thus far unacknowledged… Will keep you posted…

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful!

We travelled 3 hours to visit for my daughter’s birthday and we were so disappointed. We visited on a Friday, in term time, hoping it would be quiet but it was far from it. It was so over crowded, moving around the park was hard work, almost as hard as getting on the rides. The queue times didn’t hit under an hour all day, with some of the bigger rides having a wait time of an hour and a half meaning we had to choose a few rides to do before we ran out of time. It was so busy yet most of the coffee shops and food places were shut, leaving us with little option to eat so had to settle for a £9.50 rollover hotdog which was just sad but added to the list of absolutely extortionate prices all throughout the park, not forgetting the extra parking charge which was a joke considering the whole car park was a mess and cars were just parked anywhere and everywhere making it nearly impossible to get out of the car park. The whole day was such a waste of money and we are gutted, safe to say we won’t be returning.

Our trip to Legoland was truly disappointing

Our trip to Legoland was truly disappointing from start to finish and was filled with endless waiting in queues for a ride that lasted for moments.

The car park cost an extra £12-£18 to park in.
The park entry itself is a lot of money and for what you get in return is not good value for money.
It was really annoying to be waiting an hour for each ride then people that had paid extra for queue passes could just walk straight through! I have no issue with someone having a extra pass if they have a disability but that pass should also be given free of charge.
I think it's awful that you can pay a premium to push in when the ticket entry is already extortionate!
There were 8 in our party so the standard queue pass would have cost us an extra £200 on top of our entry ticket.
The whole place looks run down and dirty two of the big water ride were closed and empty of water
Two rides were shut as we were queuing for them due to safety concerns and the explanation was to just leave the queue.

My disappointment for
Legoland could go on and on I will definitely never return and would strongly advise others to not waste their time and money.

Wouldnt return…

We came along with our two children aged 5 and 8 and paid the additional for the fast passes as they would not last in the cold queuing for up to an hour. This made a massive difference to our trip. However, after checking twice online opening and closing times for the restaurants we went to get some food to eat before coming home and everything was shut! This was at 4pm where online it listed numerous places open until 7 or 8pm. We ended up paying 19.00 for 2 sandwiches, 1 bag of crisps and 2 waters as we had a 2.5 hour coach trip home without any stops to get the kids food. I would also note hearing a staff member on the fire engine ride saying to another staff member ' god i hate people' wasnt exactly what is expected from someone working for the company.

Miniland is brilliant but Legoland greed is not

Miniland is brilliant, would have loved to spend longer looking at the models but knowing that we wouldn't get around the park we moved on without seeing it all. Staff were great, no issues. Long queues for rides that lasted 2 minutes with people paying to push in is inexcusable. Why should someone else paying extra for something devalue my ticket and experience? It is unbelievable that children are being taught that it's ok to push in if you have money. It goes against all the values that they are taught at school preparing team to be good citizens. Legoland you should be ashamed.

⸻Very Disappointing Experience at Legoland Windsor

⭐ Very Disappointing Experience at Legoland Windsor

I’m genuinely surprised anyone would spend their time or money visiting Legoland Windsor. The park is hugely overpriced, with very little actually open. Parking is an extra £12–£18, and even the adventure golf costs extra. Most of the rides are only suitable for very young children (around 5–6 years old), and aside from walking through overpriced Lego shops or visiting the single all you can eat pizza restaurant which is also expensive there’s not much else to do.

The only enjoyable parts of our day were the miniature Lego village and the flying lion ride, which together took about an hour to experience. After that, we were ready to leave. The weather was poor, but there are no rainy day tickets or compensation offered.

We took special needs clients out for the day, and everyone ended up wasting their money, not to mention the 3 hour round trip. When we explained this to guest services, they were unhelpful and showed no understanding.

Overall, an extremely disappointing visit. The park is not worth the high price in all honesty, entry should be no more than £5. We won’t be returning.

Why isn't Legoland available for everyone it visit😔

I bought my eldest son to Legoland on numerous occasions when he was little & we absolutely loved it 😊 My eldest is now 17 years old & my youngest is seven, I would love nothing more than to take them together, especially as my youngest is desperate to go. However I've tried book at different dates throughout the year & the price is always just astronomical now. I would love to bring my boys for the Christmas experience but £600 for two days is completely beyond my reach. I'm not sure how much the Lego empire is worth but I sure Ole Kirk Kristiansen would have wanted every child to be able to experience the magic of his invention. 😔
