Dishonest sales practices
Placed an order with Lenovo for delivery on a certain day the following week.
On the day before the delivery, I received an email from Lenovo that the order was delayed but they would try to fulfill it within the next THIRTY days.
Customer care was not able to do anything other than cancel the order.
Avoid Lenovo at all costs.
Removes negative reviews on website, extremely poor customer service
Removes negative reviews on website, sayiing that my review do not meet their website "guidelines". My review was negative for their very poor customer service. Staff not responsive to issues and does not return call as promised or follow up on email. Compared to Dell and HP, Lenovo really needs to up its game with customer service. Call centre is outsourced and staff does not seem to care. Once call is hung up you would be lucky to hear from them again despite repeated promise.

The worst customer support staff on the planet. I have brandnew tablet from lenovo.com still in the UPS box before the 30 days. 20 daily calls later, and more than 10 hours wasted, I am still at ground zero. I hope Trump tarrifs this terrible company.
Poor shipping date compliance
If not for my daughter asking for Lenovo, I'll stay away from this company as best I can. They will give you a shipping date when you order and won't hear anything from them for over a week until you call up only to inform you it has not been shipped yet and there will be a delay. The customer service will give you a spiel for the shipping delay. I placed the order with the date of shipping in mind as necessary. If Lenovo cannot comply neither be courteous enough to email you of what is going on without you hounding them for the info, they should not give a shipping date they cannot abide with. It's as if they can deliver the order on time as per shipping date they give you, only to find out they only want your business and discard you after your order has been secured. Sure, they have an option for cancellation. After waiting for over a week? No courtesy to let you know immediately after placing the order when exactly it will shipped? My time to place an order somewhere else has been wasted by Lenovo already. I can only stretch my patience at this time and wait until kingdom come. It's my 2nd time ordering from them and nothing has changed since July of 2025.

WORSE ELECTRONICS COMPANY EVER FOR PROCESSING REFUNDS. IT IS NOW ONE MONTH AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU ARE KEEPING THE GOODS OTHERWISE EXPECT TO PULL YOUR HAIR WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I purchased a power bank for the legion…
I purchased a power bank for the legion go and after 4 days of purchase I never received any shipping details and when I called customer service (4times)to ask about my order, each rep gave me a different response about the shipping details and after 5 days of waiting I ended up cancelling my order and decided to go with a different vendor.
Paid €2,050.11 by bank transfer, Lenovo “couldn’t find” the payment, delayed shipping, I cancelled — refund still not processed
I’m writing this to warn anyone considering buying directly from Lenovo Spain.
Order: Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 (AMD)
Total paid: €2,050.11
Order date: 20 Dec 2025
Payment method: bank transfer (Wire Transfer)
Before I paid, I asked Lenovo Sales/Customer Support to confirm delivery timing because I urgently needed the laptop for work and I was only going to be in Spain until early January. I was explicitly told the delivery would be between 2 and 6 January. That delivery window was the only reason I placed the order.
Lenovo’s own order confirmation also showed estimated shipping/delivery between 02/01 and 06/01.
What actually happened:
- 20 Dec: I paid the full amount by bank transfer exactly as instructed (correct beneficiary/IBAN and the order number included as payment reference). I have a bank Proof of Payment (POP). Despite payment being made, Lenovo later claimed they had not received the funds.
- 26 Dec: Lenovo emailed saying their records showed no payment received, and instructed me to send the POP to their payments email. I sent the POP again immediately.
- 30 Dec: I called Lenovo three times because nothing was moving and the delivery window was approaching fast. On the first call (agent name: Mohammed), I was told to send the POP again (for the third time). After I resent it, I received the standard response: “wait 3–5 business days.” I called again to confirm receipt. I was told they had it, and again: “wait 3–5 business days.” I called again and got the same vague answer. No accountability, no urgency, no escalation.
- Lenovo then sent an email stating the shipment was delayed. Still no firm solution, no new delivery date, and no meaningful explanation.
At this point, the promised delivery window (2–6 January) was essentially impossible to meet, and I urgently needed a laptop. Lenovo’s internal failure to reconcile a basic bank transfer forced me into the only reasonable choice:
- I cancelled the order through Customer Support to no avail, even when they confirmed that my order had been cancelled.
- I cancelled the order through Lenovo’s own order page because Lenovo could not (or would not) confirm receipt of a valid payment and could not ensure delivery as promised.
After cancellation, Lenovo still continued the same pattern:
- Confirmed the order was cancelled, then asked me again for the Proof of Payment (POP) “to proceed with the refund.”
- Offered “replacement order / reinstatement” as an option even though I clearly wanted a refund.
- Provided no concrete refund timeline, just more back-and-forth and repeated requests for documentation that had already been provided multiple times.
This was not a “courier delay” or a “stock issue.” This was a basic administrative failure:
- I paid.
- I provided evidence repeatedly.
- Lenovo didn’t process it.
- Lenovo delayed shipping.
- I cancelled because Lenovo’s failure made the order pointless.
- And now the refund is not handled immediately, which is unacceptable when the order is cancelled and the payment is already proven.
My advice: DO NOT (I REPEAT, DO NOT) BUY DIRECTLY FROM LENOVO'S ONLINE STORE if you need reliability. If anything goes wrong — especially with bank transfer payments — you may end up stuck in an endless loop of “send the POP again” and “wait 3–5 business days,” with thousands of euros on the line.
I am now pursuing formal complaints through consumer protection channels to recover money that should have been refunded promptly.
Solid performance and build, but software can be hit or miss
I’ve been using a Lenovo Yoga laptop for everyday work, browsing, and media, and overall it’s been a good experience. The screen and build quality are strong, and it’s held up well with regular use. Performance has been more than enough for what I need, and it feels more premium than a lot of similarly priced laptops.
The only downside has been some of Lenovo’s preinstalled software and updates, which can be a little annoying or unnecessary. Once that’s cleaned up, though, the machine itself runs smoothly and reliably.
Overall it’s been a dependable laptop and I’d consider Lenovo again based on real-world use.
Did not receive product, nor the refund
I had canceled an order that was delayed, the cancelation was confirmed by Lenovo Spain on October 31, but the money (4500 euros) was never returned.
I have been calling and emailing for 12 weeks now, and keep getting empty promises.

I bought two Legion R24s monitors and one of them didn't come with a power cord.
I tried to contact support via phone and the customer service line never even connected.
The worthless AI chat bot on their forums couldn't direct me to a live agent because it kept looping asking me for a product and then eventually just froze and errored out.
You can't even submit feedback for their complete lack of customer service, because the Submit button on the feedback form doesn't even work!
I've seen some bad customer service with computer equipment before, but this is beyond the worst I have ever seen.

Ordered directly from Lenovo then found a better deal and immediately cancelled the order, they still shipped it more than a week after they confirmed cancellation.
Ordered an X1 2-in-1 costing over $3600…
Ordered an X1 2-in-1 costing over $3600 AUD. Lenovo "moderated" my unfavorable review so I'm re-posting it here:
Unit shipped died within 2 hours of arrival. Didn't make it past the first reboot after the Windows welcome process. How's that for quality control? Clearly this unit did not have any meaningful burn-in testing which would be expected from a major manufacturer. It took over 3 weeks to get a refund for the DOA laptop and over 4 weeks from the date the order was placed, Lenovo have still not refunded the accessory charger which ordered with the unit (which was the wrong model). Lenovo are now making excuses about the delivery date for the replacement unit which was re-ordered, and it still hasn't shipped. There is no sign whatsoever that an attempt has been made to expedite the replacement despite repeated promises. Most calls and emails have not been returned. The customer service has been excruciating at every single step, from the pre-order sales team every step of the way through this process. The matter has now been referred by Lenovo to their "ACL team". Overall experience rating would be minus 10.
"Waiting to be shipped" for 10+ days
I damaged the keyboard on my Ideapad and ordered a replacement through Lenovo's website. That was 10 days ago, and my order status still says "waiting to be shipped". I've called them twice and all they do is promise an update "within 24 hours". I asked to speak with a supervisor but he "didn't have time" to speak with me. Monkeys could run this better.
Lenovo X13 Gen4 Notebook
I have a Lenovo X13 Gen4 Notebook, and it is so slow with windows 11, because Lenovo throttle the Intel CPU to 11-12 Watts.
You think, you buy a Lenovo Laptop with Intel CPU Turbo Boost Technology?
Not in realitiy, because Lenovo cuts down the Turbo Boost, which would pull up to 55watts for some seconds, and later up to 15 Watts.
Update 06.02.2026:
After 2 years slow working, they fixed it with an intel update. Now set it to "high performance" and it reach even 45watts for seconds. Laptop is now fast.
If I could rate them less than one…
If I could rate them less than one star, I would. Watched some interviews with Lenovo execs at CES and how they were touting their AI and technology. I have a Lenovo AI PC and decided to give their AI Now a try. It's ok, as is the laptop, but I also decided to get a 4 yr subscription to their Smart Performance package, it was a relatively ok deal.
Keep in mind, I purchased a subscription to software that I already had installed on my computer. After my card was successfully charged, I received an email some 10 minutes later stating I should expect delivery of my purchase in 2 days! What? The email included a link to "Manage Subscription", which I clicked on. No record of the order at all. Contacted support thru chat. OH NO! The chatbot only allows you to proceed if you have a valid order number (which they sent me, but they don't recognize it). So no go with that. Went to New Sales and they finally transferred me to "customer support", and they couldn't give me any help at all. Just said it takes 2 days. So I guess I'll have to wait for Elmer to get around to placing the "Approved" rubber sticker on the paperwork so their email system can send me a code.
Wasn't the CEO on stage with Jensen Wong and Lisa Su chatting up how great Lenovo is? Do they really want to associate themselves and their companies with Lenovo's 1985 technology? And 8088 would be fine to run their platform I'm thinking.

I'm surprise for the great service received online. It was a little long process but we solved the problem. Than for the mouse they fixed an appointment after few days and the tecnic comes at my office and fixed the problem. I'm very satisfied.
Serious Concern Regarding Unresolved Refund and After Sales Accountability at Lenovo
I am compelled to raise serious concerns regarding Lenovo’s handling of a refund for a returned laptop. The device was returned on 12 December 2025, with Yodel delivery confirmation provided to Lenovo. Despite clear evidence of return, no refund has been issued to date.
Multiple phone calls and written follow-ups have failed to produce any explanation for the delay or a timeline for resolution. In the meantime, I am incurring ongoing credit card interest for a product that was returned and is no longer in my possession.
The absence of communication, ownership, and accountability in this matter is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Lenovo’s after sales governance. I am sharing this publicly to highlight the issue at a senior level and to caution other customers to exercise care when ordering, particularly where returns and refunds are concerned.
Yoga Book 9i 2025
Purchased Yoga Book 9i in Spring 2025 from Lenovo website. The number of add-ons they offer at the time of purchase is not user-friendly. Initially loved the 2-screen lightweight design (much lighter than the Asus 2-screen option). Odd how the charger was getting hot while brand new. Odd how the on-screen keypad didn’t always display. Deeply regret not returning immediately. Horrid customer service. Lenovo has been heavily marketing the “in-home repair” add-on (which I refused to buy) - has this company been deliberately causing glitches so that I would buy the add-on??? Laptop stopped working altogether while not on charge. I drove over 3-hours to get the battery replaced at Ameritech within a few months of purchase (not including phone time). Graphics issues have worsened & the video is constantly freezing, requiring shutdown about twice every tv episode (this laptop is currently at less than 9 months of light usage). USB adaptors also don’t seem to work in the ports. The screen configurations are jammy & the device is generally slow compared to both Asus & Apple (slower than my 2014 MacBook even though specs are supposedly much faster). I did a complete local reinstall & set it up again as a new PC. Same issues. Today Lenovo told me to take it to their “geek squad” at Best Buy. The lady answering the “geek squad” ph had zero knowledge. I am over it, ready to throw it in the garbage. What a rip-off, especially given the high price. I have spent hours & hours of my time on a new laptop with no end in site - one star if any.
The only decent thing Lenovo could do now is let me return for a full refund.
[Side-note: I now somewhat regret being mad at Apple for phasing out updates on my 2014 Macbook (which never had an issue & still works except Microsoft), & for selling me an Iph with a dud camera.]
