I have just finished two of Louise’s classes and most of all found the Natural birth class really informative and helpful.
Louise has the best balance of humour, reassurance and honesty but all with being so positive about a natural birth experience which has given me so much more confidence.
If anyone is feeling nervous or unsure about giving birth naturally, definitely sign up to these classes to get all the information you need. I wish I had found her sooner!
She is also a big advocate for supporting birth partners, so I would definitely make sure to bring your birth partner along.
Thank you Louise 🥰

Perfectly pitched classes
I have been so pleased to have found the honest midwife to provide antenatal classes.
The sessions are informative, based on real experience and Louise has a brilliant sense of humour and you can really feel that she cares about expectant mums and their partners.
100% worth the investment in my opinion.

Constructive & Straight Talking
A down to earth, informative and positive session with advice and ideas on what to expect and how to think & behave through the labor process. Really helpful and insightful for both mum-to-be and the partners alike.

Just listened to a two hour very helpful and informative meeting on natural labour and birth. I'm expecting my second and already feel more prepared thankyou! It's a shame I wasn't told what to expect more in 2021 with my first coming out of the pandemic

An invaluable experience!
As a mental health professional, it’s been lovely to have some real honest information about all the things that can happen during and after having a baby. I have felt really looked after in classes and it’s easy to see how much Louise cares about the information that she delivers. There's a real drive in the classes for women to look after themselves through the process and Louise is great at including information to help our birth partners, which has made my fiancé feel so much more comfortable about the birthing process. I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Get yourself on the course's asap, you won’t regret it!

Excellent classes- professional, knowledgeable and exempt from judgment
I cannot recommend these classes enough. the bundle is amazing value for money and the approach adopted is very down to earth and balanced. Louise does an amazing job at outlining all the options available, without pushing any particular one (unlike many other similar places), including an honest presentation (and critical approach) of the evidence-base that backs them up. The information presented is well paced, relevant and up to speed. I came across these classes during our second trimester, after a previous miscarriage- it is really only thanks to Louise that I am able to control my anxiety around this pregnancy and I am truly grateful to her and her expertise.
Thank you, Louise- from Miranda, Jamie (and Freya!)

Best ante natal classes around!
Hi Louise we just wanted to give you a fabulous review because these are the best classes we’ve ever done, you have made me laugh so much with your anecdotes and it’s some thing that I will remember forever, it’s helped me through a difficult pregnancy. I’ve really looked forward to your classes every week or sometimes twice a week and I feel really well prepared for the birth and becoming a mum. My mum Linda also loved being included in the classes and has re learnt so much. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about doing some antenatal classes to go with Louise she is by far the best. We love your down to earth approach :-) xx

Honest and informative
Simply great! I bought the bundle after attending a free class. I found the classes informative, straight to the point, honest, provide all options and give useful information and data so you can make an informed decision on whatever the topic is. I find Louise engaging and funny as well which is important, specially in virtual settings. thank you! will be back later in the week for another topic.

Great antinatal classes
I have just completed my course of classes and couldn't fault them. I have been given souch information, the knowledge and understanding Louise has shared has been brilliant. Not once did I feel like I was being lecture. Louise talks you through all options available, shares personal experiences and never dismissed your thoughts.

This is actually a follow up review
This is actually a follow up review. We did a class bundle after doing the free class.
Thanks to my partner also joining in on the classes, especially hypnobirthing, he was a FANTASTIC birth partner during labour, all down to that class, helping me essentially breathe my way through labour. He knew what was happening and was able to get me through it.
I felt so aware of my body during birth, I knew exactly what was happening because I remembered key Information from the classes so just knew where I was at while giving birth.
My birth was text book and exactly what I wanted, which I know is lucky and rare, but thanks to the classes I felt so powerful rather than scared or nervous and I'm glad for that. The free yoga on Sundays is great and worth a go in those last weeks.

Worth every penny
I was very anxious about giving birth and when I asked about antenatal classes with my community midwife. I had been given a QR code to scan and book in. I turned up and it was actually a playgroup. When I found the NHS classes the next space was the 1st, 8th and 15th August and my due date was the 16th. I was worried that I wouldn’t make them despite being assured the 1st baby is always late (he came on the 12th). I tried to find an earlier antenatal class and came across Louise.
I looked at the different class bundles but decided that I was going to only take the free class. The class was a good pace, slow enough to take it in but not too slow so it drags. She also gets people involved so it is not two hours of being lectured and she sends out notes to the people who attend so that you can re-look over them and really take it in, which I did.
The day after the class, I was in a much better headspace about the idea of giving birth that my husband decided to book the small class bundle which are the different types of labour, pain relief and parenting. We also booked on for the first aid course, purchased her baby bundle and colostrum kits so we were more than ready for giving birth.
The baby bundle came with a hospital checklist which was probably the most comprehensive I had seen and sectioned it into different needs such as labour, recovery, baby, partner, extras and I followed this to the letter. The only thing I didn’t use is the tens machine.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a very good labour and went the exact opposite of what I would have considered my ideal birth. However, with every step that went wrong, when the doctors and midwives gave me options I was able to recall what Louise had told us in much more details than what I was being given at the time and as such I felt in control and able to make balanced decisions for the situation.
My birth ended up being a c-section after failed forceps (with a poorly baby on antibiotics for a week) and was described by the midwives afterwards as a traumatic birth, however I didn’t feel traumatised, I just thought well that didn’t go to plan, he’s difficult like his father and that was definitely down to the classes allowing me to be prepared. The only thing that took me by surprise was being told that I needed to have blood thinning injections for the next 6 weeks and would have to inject myself. I don’t recall that being in the C-section class and maybe could be in the future although I may have skipped over that in my own mind.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful information you gave us and we look forward to booking in for the weaning class in a few months time

Fabulous, funny and very informative
Louise is fantastic. Yes it’s serious subjects and we are all scared about what’s about to happen but she makes you feel so much better and it’s so funny to be part of her classes. The free session is informative but the package is well worth it. I also added on babies and barkers to ensure I am equipped for introducing baby to my fur baby.
Louise is also on email if you have any other questions.
Part way through my classes package currently and looking forward to the rest of them.
Thank you! Highly recommended and have told everyone I know who knows someone who’s pregnant to get online and book onto the classes.
