Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. I would give -thousands review if could.
I hired them and sent over $5,000 dollars 💸 which i lost and never getting back sounds like because of all the fees they took to do nothing. Global Foundaries still charged me until Jan 2 2025 fee which made it so all the money i should have gotten back they supposedly said would is not because of both company fees taken from me.

Now I am getting sued many times because they stole my money and nothing is getting done. Karma is a B. I want my money back now! I hope everyone they screwed gets theirs back too.

I'd give it ZERO stars if possible

I'd give it ZERO stars if possible. Completely screwed me over. Was supposed to be working on a debt settlement, but they collected $6500 in fees before any money was sent to the creditor. Then they got sued by the US Consumer Protection Bureau. I've had to negotiate myself, which is what I just should have done in the first place. Anyone who works with Level One Law should be in prison.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY …

If there was a way to give this company a 0, I would do so. This company strung me along for 18 months, collecting fees that they did NOT earn. They tell me that they will no longer represent me and are hiding behind the courts to tell them to refund the fees they did NOT earn. Their BBB score is an F.

For you own sanity and financial security, Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

This company has been a complete scam

This company has been a complete scam, just like most of the people are saying. They gladly took 513.17 from me every month for 11 months but provided no services to me. Come to find out, they got sued for taking payments before they rendered a service. Only positive thing that came out of this is that I was able to get most of my money refunded through the holding account they used with Global Holdings, which was almost 5000 dollars. To date, Level One Law still owes me over 1500 dollars for the fees they charged me for no services. I can only hope and pray they refund that too me.

STAY AWAY

Level One collected fees and 10 months worth of payments without acting on our behalf at all. They have a court injunction against them and are unable to do any business. We received a court letter but they followed up with an email saying we should disregard it. They are refusing to refund 6500 dollars worth of fees they collected for nothing.

Corrupt POS money grab

I started a debt relief program with this company sometime early 2023 and over the first 6 months of the account opening they double charged me fees to the amount of ~3500$ and over the past year I have been fighting to have them refunded. Every time I call to ask about it I am forced to sit on the phone for 4+ hours and am told that all they can do is send yet another email to the payments department to look at the issue. They have settled zero of my accounts despite collecting over 15k from us which would easily pay up to 3 of those debts as they are. Calling to cancel and they say it will take a month to close the account and give me my money. We will see if that actually happens.

scam!!!

scam!!!! stay away from them they took our money for 1 year and did nothing! don't believe them at all. PLUS RUINED my credit! Had perfect credit before dealing with them. If your having problems call your bank or cc companies they will do the same thing by reducing your payments with out paying someone else.

SCAM ARTISTS!

SCAM ARTISTS!! Avoid at all costs! they took 7k of my money, double billed me for fees upfront each month and refuse to give me the money in my escrow citing that until the lawsuit is settled they are abiding by my contract. Which would be true if my contract did not state I would be billed fees once a month and they took them twice per month. They did not abide to the contract and now have $3500 of my money they refuse to return. Oh, and they settled ONE $800 debt in a year. These people are crooks and liars and they prey on people in trouble. Warn everyone you know!!

P.S. I got out of their scam and went to Beyond Finance and they have been amazing for those of you that want to settle debt still without a scam.

Like the other reviews

Like the other reviews, this company has not communicated with us as stated in the contract. We have been with them since September 2023 and have only been able to get through on the phone with them 1 time since signing the paperwork. 1 star is too many and they should have a negative rating. Do not contract with them!!

Return advance fees

I agree that it should have been negative stars!
I signed the contract in September 2023 and have not received any settlements as of the date, in fact, I could not even access the website now, no communication or any other information was provided by level one but received a court pointed receiver letter.
All the accounts are either at charge/off or litigation with the court!
They should return all the advance funds charged as they have earned none!

Beware!

Everything was fine until I was served court papers for an account that was supposed to be settled. Access to the portal was cut off when all of my accounts were supposedly settled. Every time I call, the wait time is over an hour. Emails are not answered quickly and nothing has been resolved. I have now received a court date. I do not recommend.

It really deserves no stars at all

It really deserves no stars at all. They took fees before negotiating and now they are in a legal situation and I have not been able to get in touch with them. I have sent emails and called and can not get anyone to answer or return my call. I hate the position they have left me in. It was supposed to make a bad situation better not worse. Just wish I had another way to contact them because both methods I currently have do not work.

I would give it zero stars but I had to…

I would give it zero stars but I had to give at least one to write a review. They were so friendly and responsive but once that period they were not as responsive. I stayed on hold on 2 different occasions for over a an hr each time. I eventually hung up. I sent 2 emails and the response was that they were too busy to return calls. I finally got through today. I cancelled my relationship with levelonelaw. They said I will receive my full refund within 10/15 business days. Let’s see.

Very unprofessional

Very unprofessional, poor business practices.

Wonderful, friendly easy to communicate with during the hard sell in the beginning and then poor communication and follow through the rest of the time.

I suspect they are a scam and I’ve lost thousands of dollars. I have no option but to continue with what they have negotiated this far.
Calls not documented so they have no record of ALL the other calls and information.

Two stars for at least admitting they won’t do their jobs.

Two stars rather than one, only because the girl I finally spoke to was honest that, after being involved in a lawsuit that took down a related company, Level One Law had no intention of actually settling my debts and let me terminate my contract. She says I’ll be getting my money back from them in full. If I can I will adjust this to three stars when it is in my account.
.
Either way I do NOT recommend anyone fall prey to their mailings and hope of debt settlements, like I did. I’m going to do what I should have done all along and work directly with the banks.
