I BOUGHT A PRINTER THAT I CAN'T REFILL THE INK. BECAUSE OF THE TONER CHIP. THEY SHOULD AT LEAST LET YOU RESET IT A FEW TIMES. Had a fantastic experience with Lexmark support today. I've got an old printer that has developed a fault and they have agreed to replace a part, as the number of lifetime prints was below the expectation for the life of the part.
Very pleased with the way they dealt with the issue.

Could not get my laser printer to connect to wifi or any other means. Called the 1300 362 192 number.Just spent over an hour on the phone to Lexmark's so called customer support Australia. Outsourced to somewhere. The person had very poor English. Could don't fix the problem as he did not have any idea, kept putting me on hold while he some to a supposed expert. A complete waste of time, I still have no connection at all.
Will go and try to get my money back and by a Brother.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND! Customer service is awful - how do I know? Because I've had to call SO many times because the printer is crap and will never stay connected to print. I have wasted hours of my life on the phone with these people and they always have to remotely log in to the computer to reset their machines...over and over. It's ridiculous. Never again with this brand.
Appalling customer service
I thought Lexmark was a reputable company. Purchased a printer for over $400, printing quality is below average and ink costs are ridiculous.
Customer service is appalling! Impossible to communicate with, and when you finally get a quote to repair the machine, it's more than the original machine.

CX522 Very expensive toner, lousy support
Great until you need a ,very hard to find, new toner at expensive cost. Compatible toner does not work. After managing to buy a "golden" black toner cartridge, the imaging kit failed at 12k impressions and support said it was depleted. 3 Month on this soap opera with Lexmark Brasil. The cost: half a new printer price and impossible to find in Brazil. Stay far away as possible from this one.

I have a Lexmark MC 3326. A piece of garbage. The page feeder has never worked and it is always putting itself off line. But with all that it is still better than their tech support. I have been trying to get help for about 6 months. I started 2 weeks after I bought it. Every once in awhile they ask for info that I have already sent several times and say they will be right on it. So far no help!!! DON'T BUY!
Software and setup infuriating.
The software and setup are for the occasional user a complete nightmare. e.g. SMTP not setup. I don't want a message as regular and annoying as the stupid paperclip was, and I don't want to read 20 websites and drill through the setup to find a 'disable' checkbox that should never have been enabled. Printer great. Software (as usual) a mess.

I have used Lexmark printers for more than 30 years. I have had excellent results with the printers. However, the recent change to cdw for supplies is a real pain in the ass. Totally disorganized and very difficult to place an order for something simple as a toner. Time for me to change printer brands at all of our locations. They will never know we changed since we are a small customer, only 47 offices. Oh well.

I purchased a Lexmark color printer (C3224) through an office supply company and used it for approx. three months before it told me the black toner was low. I replaced the toner and it started flashing a red light and error saying black cartridge problem, replace it 32.40B. I did replace it with yet another new one and got the same error. I called Lexmark and was told they would send me a toner that sometimes they are set for different regions. I received the cartridge and put it in still the same error code. I called Lexmark again and was on the phone for hours trying to let them connect to my computer and have me reset the machine countless times to finally told they would send out another printer, they did and it was not in good shape when I received it but I connected it and put in all four color toners and turned it on to get the same error pop up. I called Lexmark yet again and stayed on the phone for countless hours again to be told that they would send out another exchange printer. (which means used). Really, As much as you pay for the printers and they Lexmark expects to treat there customers like this. I also have a huge problem with the language barrier from the representatives at Lexmark along with the supervisors not being willing to talk to the customers they want to text the lower level employees and have them convey their message. I WILL NEVER BUY LEXMARK AGAIN!!!!!!
TOTAL RIP OFF AND BAD QUALITY
Bought the MB2442 multi purpose scanner printer, Setting it up was a nightmare, could not use the driver , had to make to with a generic driver, pathetic!. Then riddled with errors, all non existent, like paper not loaded when its full, the try guide will not recognize A4 if it is out of alignment by 0.5mm yet there is 4mm of slack, all in all its a poorly designed lump of junk, just dont expect this rubbish from Lexmark. Then there is the TONER RIP OFF, imaging unit failed after 8432 pages, even though they state 60000, so still on its first toner unit and the imager has to be replaced, cost of imager and toner cartridge almost the same as the printer, never buying Lexmark again
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. Purchased some Lexmark printers for our company with the 2 years on-site repair option. For 2 weeks I try to get a technician to look after one of my machines. It constantly shows a jam when there is non and if it does not show a jam and prints, it sounds like the machine is gone break apart. Sofar buying the 2-year on-site repair option was a big waste of money and showed me that Lexmark does not care if their machines are working properly or not. They were quick to sell me the on-site repair option, but when needed they don't seem to do anything about it.

Ran into problems with this outfit a while ago trying to get ink cartridges, which they kindly advised were no longer available.
Now this! Printer simply prints blank paper although there is still enough ink. Needed tech. assistance to get it printing again, because for past two weeks have been trying for help.
Here is their reply, to which I answered appropriately, also mentioning that I believe not to service goods makes their products unfit for purpose according to the Consumer Protection Act or similar.
What a disgraceful policy for a supposedly big company.
Don't touch this firm with somebody else's bargepole so far I am concerned. Paid about £250 for this originally, now USELESS!!!!!.

and yea the printer was less than 1 yr old. They will fix it under warranty but what do you do without a printer for the next few weeks while they fix it. just save yourself a headache and go but another brand ...all these poor reviews here are not here without a reason unfortunately...as another person says...how does this company actually remain in business????

Was prompted by my printer software to update the printer's firmware, downloaded the firmware from Lexmark's site, installed the update and it bricked the printer. Customer service resolution? a £320 call out to fix a £90 printer.. Kids need to print their homework but Lexmark want to cash in by bricking perfectly good printers.

I WAIST MORE PAPER THAN I PRINT! I have called Lexmark several times and tried to fix the issue. It only got worse when I downloaded the new Firmware.
I can't understand how this Printer company is in business for so long with such horrible performance. I can't have always been this way. Reading the other reviews it seems the Experience is a consistent one. I read the technical Reviews on my MC 2535adwe the the performance was amazing for it's price point. However, it seems that this company doesn't know how to efficiently write Drivers for their hardware.
So my immediate problem is the fact that my color is out of alignment and the printer starts printing the page at the halfway mark which seems to cause paperjams as the second page begins to print before the first is finished. I have watched for HOURS as Tech's have tried to remotely fix my problem. Finally, they said that they would send a Tech to fix the problem. I have been waiting for like 2 to 3 months now and no change.
This is the WORST Technical purchase I have EVER Made. I went from a Officejet 6500 series inkjet printer, supposing to step up to a Duplex Lazer Printer from Lexmark and I get to watch as the printer takes 20 tries to align and print out what I am asking for.
As of this WRITING my warning to any Potential Buyer is ...STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING WITH THE NAME LEXMARK!!!
Yep same review again one star. It doesn't print via the app of WiFi it's always a battle to print or scan just don't but it. My 50 euro hp was a million times better
