Dishonest theives

Dishonest theives. Stay away at all cost, go to a different shop who are honest and value customer service.

I purchased a iPhone charger cable to sync data which was not a genuine apple product but was over priced still. I had agreed with the lady at the shop that if there are any issues I can return the it.

When connecting my iphone to iTunes the connection was intermittent and useable for its intended purpose.

I returned to the shop the next day only to be told that a refund cannot be issued and was accused of lying.

In my frustraction and disappointment I told her she can keep the money and the charger cable which she shamelessly took back without any hesitation. Perhaphs she can rob someone else with it.

Does not upgrade

What went wrong was my phone is supposed to upgrade to an OS 13 and will not upgrade past OS 10. I contacted my provider who actually figured out what is wrong with my phone. When I called LG they offered to do a call back at the number I provided, which never happened. When I called them back I was immediately disconnected. The number I was provided earlier to call them back at ended up being a fake number which could not be answered and I received a message with an apology. This company owes me a replacement warranty phone. And they are doing everything they can to get out of doing that. The phone is not capable of upgrading to what they claimed it would do.

Not even a phone.

I'm not sure how you can pass garbage out and call it a phone. Every single LG phone ive had has glitched or broke in a new way for as long as I can remember. They arent even cheap. They cost up the ass for them then give you a 5 cent phone that blows up when you try to use it as intended. Worst phone ive ever had. I seriously would go back to using cord phones then give these people any more money.

Great value for an android phone

I am on my 4th LG Phoenix phone, an LG Phoenix 5 (had a 2, 3, 4, & now a 5). I would have given it 5 stars if not for the aggravation of having to clear out all of the annoying preloaded GARBAGE apps that were preloaded on it when it arrived. However, once I deleted/disabled them all to the bare bones and installed a micro-SD card, it's a really great phone!

Pros:

*You can use it to tether as a Wi-Fi Hotspot: Very cool! I have had my 80 year old dad hook up his tablet or laptop through it without any problem. He gets a really good connection even in the next room, and it's nice when we go visit them, because then he doesn't have to use their cell phone minutes up to check "their Facebook things" (they don't have internet). Otherwise they have to wait until they go to McDonalds in town to use their "free Wi-Fi." (They usually end up buying something there, so is it really free?)

*You can set it to use voice text or swipe-text (so you don't have to painstakingly type each and every word).

*It has a good 13MP front camera and a nice crisp 7" HD display gives me plenty of room to watch things and play my favorite interior design game & fantasy football on (so obviously how pictures and graphics look on the screen are really important to me). It also has a back-facing camera (discussed below).

*It has *plenty* of RAM (memory) for me to run all the apps I want to (comes with 16 GB of internal RAM, but I also added a 32 GB micro SD card, plus I downloaded a free app called "App Mgr III" so that I could move as many non-system apps as possible onto there to free up extra space (some system apps and a few others it wouldn't "let" me move). I also use that app to frequently clean my cache, etc. to help keep it running better.

*HIGHLY Customizable: You can choose/change SO many options -- such as making the font size bigger so it's easier to read, stop the screen from auto-rotating so it's less annoying, put the colors that YOU want where YOU want them, make the app icons bigger or smaller or rearrange/delete them, decide which apps can annoy you or not & when, etc.

*Very intuitive and user-friendly menu: there's even a useful tutorial for absolute beginners (it could certainly be SKIPPED when you first open up the phone, but MIGHT be nice for an older person or someone who just wants to familiarize themselves with a new phone).

*Great reception (and customer service) through AT&T. We live *way* out in the middle of nowhere (25 miles from the nearest town in a rural area), and I still get 2-3 bars even way inside my house in my bedroom (and 3-4 bars outside)! And when I call customer service, I always get a helpful human being right away!

*USEFUL preloaded apps: I don't know what all preloaded apps come on every other phone, but I really like what comes on this one: a simple but well laid out CALCULATOR (DUH) and a VERY clever notepad called "QuickMemo" (Which I use a TON), and Smart Cleaner (maintains your RAM to optimize space), ALARM CLOCK (you can also use to set customizable reminders), plus a music player, blah blah blah, the usual, etc.

CONS:

*Battery Life: I'm honestly not sure if it has that bad of battery life, but sometimes it seems as if I'm constantly plugging it in -- when I'm driving in the car, by USB port on my laptop at work, and I also plug it in every night (then again, if I really stop and think about it, I am REALLY anal about it -- I don't like it if it gets below 50% -- so I probably wouldn't really *NEED* to always plug it in as often as I do, I just have a silly habit of plugging it in, I suppose).

*REAR CAMERA: It's only 5MP, so unless you have someone else take a picture of you, your selfies will NOT turn out as good as you may like. Also, if you're shaky like me, you'll may end up deleting half your pics & retaking them 'cause they're blurry LOL (no real stabilization). The video editor wasn't that great, but I downloaded a better one for free from the Google Playstore (same with the photo editor; I use Screen Master).

*It came with a BUNCH of preloaded GARBAGE programs on it that I had to MANUALLY delete and/or disable (by going through the System Apps folder), which was rather time consuming. I don't know if the average user would know how to even DO that. All of those GARBAGE apps take up a lot of space on the phone (yet another reason why a lot of people probably complained about the phone).

Oh -- one other useful thing I've learned is that if I leave it on for too long without powering it down, it *might* start to run a bit sluggishly. It's important to turn it off completely at least once every day or two and then turn it back on. Then everything's A-OK!

warranty useless on Mobile Phone

i bought my K41s phone at end October 2021, had some issues that i was told to restart constantly to fix, this didn't work. late December the WI-FI would drop out when i was only 2 mt from modem, this has got progressively worse. i contacted LG to see how they could help i fixing this, they couldn't, just told me to send it to service centre so it could be assessed. I asked for a loan phone as i would be without a phone from 2-6 weeks depending on issues required to fix phone. this is not acceptable and i asked for a loan phone--HAHA they said we don't do that. The phone isn't working and they offer no support when it breaks. i will never buy any of there products again and would advise everyone else to do the same. There customer service is useless and they are in Philippines so they don't care. i have had 4 phone calls with them with no reasonable response or outcome and was not able to understand the first responder at all.

The LG V60 5G ThinQ is a powerful…

The LG V60 5G ThinQ is a powerful flagship phone for a relatively reasonable price, but its lack of multi-band 5G on most carriers limits its prospects for the future. Anyhow, we don't have 5G available in Pakistan, so for me it wasn't a deal-breaker.

The voice text program is total crap.

I had an LG phone years ago and I remember that it had a great camera. So I chose to get one recently. And yes it has a great camera but the voice text program is total crap! It only puts down what it thinks it hears. There are no contextual Clues. I can never leave a voice text without having to go back and correct it. My Samsung phone was 10 times better and ten times cheaper.

Dishonest and unfair

This company refused to honour the warranty on my phone when it broke after 3 months, due to a a fault known to them. They said that the phone had been sourced from the US, although their warranty is the same in the US and it was purchased on an Australian site. Moreover, one of their customer help representatives, very kindly told me that they would fix it and got me to post it, at my expense, to their repair agent. They claim they sent emails, but I never got one, even when I gave them a new address. I checked spam. Nothing. The next communication told me that I could either pay over $150 to get the phone fixed, or $25 to have it returned to me. I had to pay to send it to them to be fixed and did so at their direction. Not only did they refuse to fix it, but they wanted to hurl another $25 charge at me, to get it back. That's appalling customer service.
