While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Liberty Leasing & Liberty Finance
Liberty Leasing & Liberty Finance
Made them aware of my vulnerability with sufficient evidence following a late payment. Pre-termination notice was sent, giving 7 days to pay arrears, confirmed I would pay arrears immediately & Liberty terminated with no response to my email before the 7 days was up!
Handling of the situation was poor overall. Customer care is non existent. Liberty had shown no consideration, care or empathy for the serious personal difficulties that I had suffered. They instead caused unnecessary complications & stress, which has ultimately caused my mental state to deteriorate drastically.
I have tried several times to communicate with Liberty, but at no given point have they shown any interest in a solution. It just seems as though they are trying to get the maximum benefit.
A finance company who deals with customers everyday should understand there is a human being behind a business & life happens, life is sometimes challenging. Liberty has made mine considerably more than it already was!
I wouldn’t recommend, and going by the other reviews, not many would.
You had better not hope you have any…
You had better not hope you have any problems with your vehicle. Ours had a full engine seizure after months of already being back in with the manufacturer for various issues. We have been without the work vehicle for a third of the time we have 'owned' it. They simply do not care and threaten recovery if you so even hint at the fact they are still the legal owners of the vehicle and you don't think you should be paying for inferior courtesy vehicles. They point you to the manufacturer. The manufacturer points you to them. The circle jerk never ends. Avoid at all costs! The complaints and compliance teams in particular, are deeply unpleasant to deal with, and will ignore all of the strain their not fit for purpose vehicles will put you under if and when they become unroadworthy. Go to someone else with an ounce of empathy and a proactive approach for your own sake.

This company are bandits that exploit people that are under financial pressure, if you miss a direct debit by days you will get charged a few hundred pounds, change the date on your direct debit, oh that’s £450. Miserable attitude
