4-Week Press Campaign
4-Week Press Campaign
My experience using Liberty Music PR was fantastic. Both Nathan and Noor were kind, communicative, and committed to the press campaign throughout the entire month. On my behalf, Nathan secured press in 15 total publications, including a stellar write-up in CULTR. I highly recommend this service to independent artists like myself looking to grow their business.
Great music PR Company
We've been through many different PR companies, big and small, and Liberty provided us by far the best result and experience. The amount of attention, planning and meetings, time and effort put into each campaigns have been superb. They offer various packages so clients can choose their focus and also tighten their budget. Highly recommended and we'll stay loyal.
Great Team
Liberty PR is a friendly and efficient team of PR professionals who deliver on what they promise. They are very organized and keep you informed of their process every step of the way. I hired them to do press for a single release and they got the track written up in several publications. I will be using them again in the future.

Avoid if you're a serious artist
It pains me to write this review because the team I worked with were so lovely - so I wish to stress this is not a reflection on the individuals in the team but the overall product and campaign.
My focus for this campaign was to release a music video and an album to boot. I made it clear at the beginning of the campaign that I wanted to ensure I received a decent return of investment which meant high number of organic video views (10K+) and a similar amount of video streams. I wanted to avoid small blogs and websites where traffic would be small - but that's essentially what I got.
I was interviewed by a handful of tiny blogs and answered questions like "Introduce yourself" and "name your top 5 songs". I was bummed out by this as it felt like I was doing an SEO campaign for My First Band (I've been a recording artist on and off for the past 15 years) and I didn't really get the coverage I was hoping for and certainly no publications that people actually read. I also didn't get many reviews or interviews regarding an in-depth process of the album (they did try with one review in fairness, but again these were for publications no one has heard of). I was told this would be "Good for SEO" but wasn't looking for SEO, I was looking for journalists to be excited and using their strong influence to get involved.
Looking at my YouTube analytics I got around 10 views (!!!!) from all the articles combined. I did reach 10K views for the video but nearly all of them were from advertising I did separately to this campaign.
In addition, their play listing campaign didn't receive great results either. I received an ok(ish) 3.5K plays for one of the songs, 2K for another and just over 100 plays from one of the other tracks they supposedly featured. I can't really say it was a big hit.
There is always the argument that some people simply won't "bite" at your tracks or album and the bigger publications won't feature it, but this was never discussed. I was shown the people I was "pitched" to but I didn't feel like this would have been chased and I would have hoped a PR company with good links to good media would have been able to find a way to feature me. If they didn't think they should take on the work if they don't have much faith in it.
Again, I feel like the team were lovely to work with so I morally wanted to give them the credit and space to do their work, but the campaign did end with a "was that it?" feeling.
Another note to make, they did also insist on an up-front payment. In any business, invoices should be made at the END of a successful campaign. I went forward with it as I just wanted to release my video and album, but I did ask for a Scope of Work to be provided with a sense of what a successful campaign would look like. They agreed, but I never received this.
I think if you're a first-time or young artist and you got a lot of money to splash out, it might be a good service to just get your name out there, but for someone trying to release a serious release on the back of a 4-year writing process, I felt it was lacklustre overall.
I think in future I'll be avoiding PR all together. Unless you're a big label or already big it's incredibly hard to find anyone willing to get you big exposure. Ironic as the original purpose of PR is to get you that exposure, but now they want you to be already famous before people will feature you. It's a shame. I tried.

Liberty Music was the best decision…
Liberty Music was the best decision I've made. Chris Jones is dedicated to his artist. He's always there to answer my questions and guide me to the truth of any situation. He is smart, fun and easy to talk to and makes my job worth pursuing. I recently added Suley Khan to my team and WOW! Chris told me I would love him and he was right again. I am so lucky to have Suley in my corner. He knows what he's doing with Youtube and it shows. Rich Walker manages to get me on playlist with hundreds of thousands of listeners, and we made Spotify playlists made by Spotify! Big celebrations there. Sam Jones is the reason people ALL OVER the globe are listening to me on the radio! My girl Millie has spread my name and music all over the internet which has got me a ton of new press. Because of all their hard work and dedication, so many people are listening/learning about me. I couldn't have done it without my team. I am beyond happy and proud of these guys. Onward and upward! Push push puuuuush :)
My first campaign with Liberty Music…
My first campaign with Liberty Music exceeded my expectations. Nathan Miller is a master storyteller and shaped my narrative into a polished press release that landed well with several reputable outlets. As an artist, I will always go with the team that overdelivers, and Liberty does just that.
Liberty Music doesn't dissapoint
Using Liberty Music has always been a great experience. We've used them with ZeXzy's singles quite a few times due to not only the results they garner for us but also because of the genuinely great people they have in place. This wasn't our first time with them and it definitely won't be the last.
Genuine People
Chris, Josh, and Amalia are all hard workers who seem to genuinely care about the growth of the artists they work with. Playlists are properly curated to avoid bots/clickfarms, and they are very good at helping artists find the best ways to sell themselves when trying for press pieces. It's a little expensive, but I do believe now that you get what you pay for. Would most likely work with them again in the future.
The entire team was absolutely amazing…
The entire team was absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating. From the very beginning, they demonstrated a genuine commitment to understanding my vision, promptly addressing all my inquiries, and providing invaluable support in bringing my single to life. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my experience.
Liberty PR - highly recommended
Liberty PR did a really good job promoting our single. Danielle Holian did exceptional in the press promotion. She got us a lot of excellent reviews and placed us in some prominent publications. The rest of the team was very professional and delivered on what they promised. We did the press, radio and playlist package. Overall, I think working with Liberty PR was a very positive experience and I can easily recommend them without reservation
Exceptional Experience: Liberty PR Delivers Successful Music Release PR Services
Collaborating with a reputable and proficient PR company plays a pivotal role in the success of any music release. I had the pleasure of working with Liberty PR, and it proved to be an exceptional experience. Joe, in particular, demonstrated remarkable friendliness and professionalism throughout our engagement. His expertise and connections enabled us to secure press opportunities that would have been otherwise unattainable. If you are in need of PR services for an upcoming release, I wholeheartedly recommend partnering with Liberty PR for your next project.
Lovely team!
I had the pleasure of working with Liberty on a Music Press campaign for my album, Billie Bottle's Temple of Shibboleth. Chris and Joe were very accommodating to my copious needs and offered a bespoke service. Joe and I had an instant connection, having the north east of England in common was a nice coincidence too.
Liberty offered clear communication and worked hard to make sure I got column inches when I needed them most and I was most pleased with the breadth of coverage they offered.
All in all, definitely worth the money spent.
Bespoke PR done right
We worked with Liberty for a press campaign around one of our single releases. They weren't the cheapest option, and there's a bigger question around how helpful PR is for bands at certain levels, but I can't fault Noor, Amalia and the whole team at Liberty - they were upfront, proactive, helpful and kept us informed throughout. They made sure to set our expectations early and then delivered on everything we asked of them. We've had some less good experiences with PR previously so it was great to work with people who seemed genuinely engaged and build some actual human rapport. If you're looking for bespoke PR services you could certainly do worse than Liberty.
Simple and concise communication and…
Simple and concise communication and asks made it so I didn't have to do too much work on the campaign and then Liberty just got to it. It was really valuable experience for me as a new and starting artist digitally, though I am very experienced with live shows. If I find the grant funding again I would definitely work with them on a larger campaign than just Playlisting for 2 singles.
Only 1 star taken off because in the end part of the campaign, meetings got mixed up and it made the scheduling difficult. That's a pet peeve of mine.
