Terrible paint quality
Terrible paint quality
Ended up having a customer who wanted to use this paint so used the Lick Pro + paint which is exceptionally expensive and found the quality was terrible. Took 5 coats of the eggshell to get any kind of decent coverage and the wall paint is not scrubbable at all and again took 4-6 coats to get decent coverage. It was like painting with cheap watered down paint! For the price I expected a lot better and feel from the other reviews that there is an issue with quality control.

Quick delivery and good for the environment
Prompt delivery and great that they send stick on colour samples so as not to waste paint. Would prefer if they didn't have the 'Lick' name on the front. I'm not going for these colours this time but would definitely use the company again.

First tin of white 03 bought from B&Q…
First tin of white 03 bought from B&Q was not like the sample sheet. After I sent Lick photos of the difference they sent me a replacement which was perfect. Annoyed at having to paint my dresser again but it was fine in the end. It's very thick and creamy paint and easy to apply without drips or runs. It's very expensive but I have never been happy with any cheap paint so I believe it's worth it. Excellent customer service.

masonry paint colour's
I was going to use lick masonry paint for my house. I went on the website to order samples (which I must say , start to work out expensive ). Choose a colour only to find it's not available in the masonry range. Perhaps I missed something , but I the website had me thinking any colour as I had the full range of colour's to choose from.

Our masonry paint range is available exclusively through Screwfix and currently comes in 71 Lick colours.
While our peel-and-stick samples reflect our wider retail palette of 100 colours, not every colour is suitable for exterior masonry paint. This is because some pigments don't maintain their colour as well when exposed to prolonged sunlight and weather conditions.
We'd recommend checking the available masonry colour range via the Screwfix website before purchasing samples, as not all colours from our retail collection are offered in masonry paint. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to look for ways to make this clearer on our website.

Affordable, quality paint
I have bought some Lick Green 07, matt interior for my kitchen. I had to review it as I am so impressed. I bought the £2 sample for me to stick on my wall, it peeled off easily and helped me to decide the colour I wanted, instead of painting my wall all different colours trying little paint pots. When I got the paint and started to use it , the colour was spot on. It was easy to apply, needed two coats but what an excellent finish. And to cap it all, affordable, eco friendly. Winner all round,now looking at colours for my bedroom!

I’ve bought the Matt paint and was…
I’ve bought the Matt paint and was shocked to see how runny the paint was! After applying a section of the wall, I knew it was not right in terms of paint quality, consistency and pigmentation. I can not believe how poor quality this paint is - it’s like 95% water mixed with low quality pigment. I have now bought little green Matt, more expensive but I trust the brand

All positive . Fast delivery of swatches and hood customer service. I liked one of the colours which was from the purple lilac range but would like more variants to compare . I didn’t see any other variations on the colour of lilac and lavender so I haven’t quite found the colour I need .

A stunning range of colours
A stunning range of colours. The paint is like thick cream. Using Greige 01 at the moment on all the woodwork. Looks beautiful. Working my way around the house. Have found the Quiz on the website to be really helpful in helping to choose colours.

Love Lick paint! I’ve bought Yellow 03 & 08 in the ultra flat matt. So far I’ve used the 03 and it’s a beautiful warm golden yellow. It went on really nicely and seems much more resistant to knocks and dirt than other paints I’ve tried; I’ve had to wash off drink spills and it left no marks! Also it barely smells at all which is a huge bonus for me as I have fragrance and chemical sensitivities. 100% will buy again.

It is quite unbelievable how awful this paint is
It is quite unbelievable how awful this paint is.
Two cans of Blue 18 that are very noticeably different in shade. This has ruined the entire job and the whole hallway and landing are going to have to be painted again. Huge waste of time and money.
Any paint company should hold themselves to a higher standard than this.

Great quality paint, but over ordered. Emailed customer service regarding a refund/exchange and no reply. Need to discuss how we can order another colour and return an unopened tin.
