go to lidl in lucan every morning…

go to lidl in lucan every morning before school and i’ve never had a good experience with the workers , i understand it’s 8am dealing with customers i too work early mornings in a restaurant on the week but id never let my customer service be as bad as there’s no matter how tired i am . today i went to buy a vithit and i waited in the queue because i had no card for the self checkout and the woman rudely told me to go to the self checkout and when i expressed my concern about the cash she told me ‘she’ll do it for you’ . i went to tht self checkout and the other worker was helping someone else while the other queue for the normal checkout only had 1 other person . when she did eventually come over she said ‘give me’ as in my coins i was using. i would never talk to anyne that way , let alone a paying customer. i have to say that this was by far the worst of the worst experiences i’ve had in that establishment and im very disappointed.

Overcharged

I bought a Parkside shelving unit in LIDL Whitestown Way last week. I asked an assistant if it was still €29.99 and she said it was. The next day I realized I had been charged €39.99. I contacted customer service and was told that the offer had finished a few days earlier. Ad I had been given the wrong information by a staff member, I thought I would have been given credit of €10, but was told there is nothing they can do. 😡 😡

Lidl Plus App worse than useless

When I was able to get into the app it ALWAYS needed to be reinstalled, usually just as you were at the checkout. For the past few months I haven't been able to access it, the same password I always use for it is now wrong according to Lidl. And you can't change the password because when you submit a lost password request once again it ALWAYS says "We are over capacity". I'm using ALDI next time.

Good selection but quality is a big…

Good selection but quality is a big issue with this company in general. Meat produce is especially low quality.
Several middle aisle products that I have payed good money for have turned out to be absolutely shocking….
Very disheartening…

Parkside Robot Mower from Lidl no good

I purchased a Parkside Robot Mower from Lidl last year. It stopped working soon after. Lidl did send a replacement one after 7 weeks. This mower stopped working more than 6 weeks ago. Replacement parts were to be sent out for me to install but I am still waiting despite sending reminder emails which I have received no response. The mower is cheap but no good if it doesn't work and warranty service is very poor

If you buy a faulty product, the shop will fob you off to a useless and inept customer service department.

I bought a product which turned out to be faulty. The shop policy is to have you sort this by contacting customer service. Customer service is a nightmare. This is the shops duty to the customer and the shop and customer have a contract with each other. The shop ignores this and will not help in any way. They refuse a refund. Useless service overall.

Ballina, Co. Mayo Lidl. Well done Malachy.

Just got some shopping in Lidl, Ballina. Had my groceries scanned by Malachy. I don’t know him, he was wearing a name tag.
He was fast, efficient, helpful, friendly, polite, and pleasant. He spoke very nicely to everyone he dealt with, including customers and, other staff.
People often complain about bad experiences, but I just wanted to let you know about my good experience.
It makes shopping a more pleasant experience when you meet good humoured people.

Lidl Tyrrelstown…member of staff with shocking attitude! I believe her name is Magda. She definitely needs more training because she’s no help and no will to sort customers problems. Very chatty to her colleagues and people she knows (even though the queue is long) but completely ignoring other people. Just sad that this person is there for years and still didn’t improve her customer service skills and rich other’s standards. Shame on her!

Very Disappointed with Staff Behavior at Lidl Pottery Road

I had a very upsetting experience at the Lidl Pottery Road store. I went to return 3 packs of McCormack Spinach Leaf that were recalled. Lidl’s policy states that receipts are not required for recalled products. However, a staff member named LEN insisted on a receipt and when I politely informed LEN that it wasn’t needed, LEN responded rudely and aggressively.

LEN raised their voice, accused me of having an “attitude,” and told me to “stop talking” all in front of other customers. I was shocked and humiliated. As a regular customer, I expect basic courtesy and respect, especially when dealing with a legitimate recall issue.

This kind of unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on Lidl. Staff should be trained to handle such situations calmly and respectfully. Extremely disappointed and I hope Lidl addresses this properly.

Shocked to discover that Lidl are still…

Shocked to discover that Lidl are still stocking Lupilu wet wipes and products from the occupied territory. The people of Ireland aren't made aware that they are helping with the genocide of the people of Gaza by shopping there. Come on Lidl! Find an alternative supplier for your wet wipes.

Mouldy carrots

Lidl at Mount Agnes Road is persistently selling carrots with mould on them. The ones i bought today, from a whole bag of 750g I was able to pick three that looked safe to eat. There is no expiry date on almost any vegetable products, but the staff claim they do visual inspections every day.

Filthy Lidl Store, Rathbeal Road, Swords.

The add says go full Lidl but my experience is I can never get everything I require in Lidl. Went into Lidl Rathbeal Rd Swords today and had to go to Dunnes afterwards to finish my shop. My main complaint about Lidl Rathbeal Road today was that it was filthy, I was loath to put my shopping on the checkout counter which was covered in wet spills and dried spills and black gunge. Also the floor was filthy. I will not be back.

Edyta the crap manager in Tallaght store !!

It’s about the level of customer service at Tallaght Whitestown Way. It’s about manger Edyta that I had to deal with today. She shouldn’t be working there. This was the worst experience ever anywhere in store in Ireland. So it started of the fact that I went there to buy pizza oven. I checked it on your website and it was 89.99€ and 20€ less with Lidl plus app that I am using. I went to one of the tills, scanned my card but the discount didn’t apply. The girl on the till was very nice and polite she apologised and called manager Edyta. She was laughing at me shouting all over the store that SHE WILL NEVER reduce the price and it doesn’t matter where do I see the lower price. She was constantly interrupting me and said that I can leave the store if I don’t like the price difference. Everything in front of all the customers waiting in the Q. I told her that I see the different price on your own website so I am entitled to buy it for this price but she laughed me and said that she’s working 20 years over there and I can do nothing to her and she’s leaving now since she has enough of me!! Absolutely nightmare!! Please have a chat with her, check the cameras and anything else you want to make sure that kind of behaviour is not accepted anywhere ! She shouldn’t be even sweeping the floors in your store ! It’s a shame for Lidl!
