No phone number available for Lights On Lights Off

I ordered goods to the value of £400 in 2019 and had no problems with the company or the goods.

I was thinking of placing another order and see that the website has been taken over and is "under new ownership". The telephone number I have from my previous order doesn't work and nowhere can I find a phone number on LOLO's website for the company - despite one of their website pages saying that they can be contacted by phone,

I can't find them on Companies House either. I guess I need ti know their parent company.

Looks like they won't be getting my money.

Do not buy from this site!!!!!

Do not buy from this site, didn’t review website here before like I usually do as needed lights for a home refurb project. No one ever contacts you back, numbers no answer, transaction shows as gifts box.co.uk.
Other related sites ticktickclocks.co.uk, weatherweatherweather.co.uk, thermometerspecialist.co.uk
Raised dispute with credit card company so hopefully get my money back!

FRAUDSTERS DO NOT USE.

Do not under any circumstances use this company, they've taken my money, lied about the delivery stating its been delayed then didn't answer emails, the phone lines were always apparently busy and stated to leave a message but the mail box was always full, now the phone line is disconnected and my account no longer exists. I am currently going through my bank for reimbursement. THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS DO NOT USE.

Dishonest company

Dishonest company. My experience exactly the same as other reviewers. Payment taken. Told item not in stock. After several weeks asked for a refund. Was told would receive within a few days. Two weeks later contacted them to say no repayment received. No response.
Update: Received notice of voluntary liquidation from MDG Retail Limited. As I paid less than £100 have no redress via credit card company. Should have read reviews before ordering!

My recommendation is to avoid dealing with this company.

Placed an order with this company in August. Received and email saying the delivery is delayed and would be sent on 9th September. Bit disappointed but hey ho. It's now the 19th September. numerous calls to 01525 552030 just goes to voicemail. Don't bother leaving a message for them to ring back because they don't!
No alternative but to have my credit card company resolve this unfortunate situation.
Do not recommend this company at all.

Ordered a lamp from lights on lights off, all I got was a email from a different company called MDG retail saying it couldn't be delivered for weeks, so contacted them and changed for a different lamp, and that's all the communication I have had from them, no email to say it's been confirmed, no email to say it's being delivered, rang many times, left messages and emails and nothing, worst company i have ever delt with, absolutly no customer support.

Abysmal service and no genuine intention to supply goods

Abysmal service. Represented goods in stock and promised to deliver within 3-5 days. Took payment upfront. Then advised that delivery would be in 5-10 "working" days, plus the 4-day Easter bank holiday. When asked about whether supplier was even able to fulfil order, staff admitted they had no way of knowing and were just working on assumptions. Very poor email and telephone communication. Clearly no genuine intention to supply goods. Total waste of time. Reported to National Trading Standards.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Bought some lights. No mention they were surface mounted so they were inappropriate for me. Requested refund but they will only offer a credit note for 60 days.

Ordered an expensive hanging pendant…

Ordered an expensive hanging pendant light on the 11th of June on a 2 to 4 day delivery , when i rang on the Friday the 15th to chase it on the 5th day !!
It had not been shipped , no real apology , l was just informed it would be delivered some time on the following Wednesday , Yesterday (Tuesday) i had an email from MDG retail , I PRESUME PART OF THE SAME COMPANY!!! telling me it had been despatched by them via parcelforce , the tracking number supplied does not work , no surprise !!!!!
Unfortunately the electricians have now left , THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VERY POOR SERVICE , WILL NOT USE AGAIN .

this was in 2017. surprise, surprise. i had the EXACT same experience. i ordered an item advertised as next day delivery. For one week, the item never came and i got NO CALL OR EMAIL from them to tell me it would be delayed. I called them after 7 days to ask about my item and i was basically told, oops, we forgot to let you know that this items isn't classed as next day delivery. i asked to cancel the order as i had an electrician booked in to fit ceiling lights all over the house. i asked when this would be delivered, and was told, they didn't know. I mentioned to them the situation with the electrician and i might need to buy a similar light somewhere else as i would not want to pay an electrician another day rate just to fit one light. i was told oh don't worry, once it arrives from italy in our warehouse, you would be given a call or email before we dispatch to confirm you still want the order, or we go ahead and cancel it. guess what, that phone call or email never came for another week, so i went ahead and ordered another light from another company. crossing my fingers that this light may arrive. to my dismay, the light still didn't arrive after two weeks, and my second light arrived first. just in time for the electrician to fit. shockingly, a few days after i fitted the second light, this light turned up at my door with no proper notice. i called the company back to ask them why i wasn't informed as they promised. i no longer need this light. i waited over two weeks. they had the nerve to tell me that since i ordered it, i should have been expecting it, so therefore, i will have to pay a £10.25 collection fee.

be wary of this company. NEVER EVER trust that you will get an item next day delivery. you would think that because they got things very wrong TWICE, they would waive the collection fee. disgraceful company, and would never ever buy anything from them, ever again.
