Gutted!

Placed an order Sat 23/03/2024. Was charged Mon 25/03/2024.

Still not received my order today, Tues 09/04/2024; despite the website saying the order will be dispatched the next working day for standard UK delivery (should have been Tues 26/03/2024 latest).

It’s been 10 working days now, and the fulfilment status on the website still says Unfulfilled. I have replied to the order email, emailed the company’s contact email, contacted on Facebook and Instagram; and have had no response.

Update: they refunded me after leaving this review

Customer service 180

Updating my review - from failure to success in how to do customer service.

Initially the Return went AWOL despite a royal mail tracking number, slow response from customer service (Royal mail say they received a request from them not to deliver... Could be due to the warehouse they're using).
I sent back a dressing gown which was far too small to be a medium for medium pregnant person in their 3rd trimester and needed an exchange to a larger size (else risk of indecent exposure in the hospital!), however the package using their returns label service had not been collected by Lily& Ribbon from the sorting office, and still not heard from customer service after 48 hours (the package was sent back to them over a week ago).

Tanya was quick to phone me after this Trustpilot review, to sort the issue on a Sunday afternoon pronto. Have been told the exchange to a larger size is being sent out on the Monday. Fingers crossed this one fits now!

Its hard to find the right size for maternity clothes online . The items I brought for my holiday were perfect fitting and excellent quality.

Poor communication about items not in stock

I put in an order for maternity clothes mainly for my hospital bag on 26th June. It was supposed to be by standard delivery but hadn’t arrived a week later.
I contacted customer services twice and got a reply 2 days later saying that the team had tried to call me a few times as there was a product recall on the black PJs I’d ordered and they could offer me grey instead.
Turns out I only had one missed call from the company which was that same morning, nothing over the week I was waiting for the items to be delivered. No voicemail was left and no one had tried to contact me by email.

Overall a frustrating experience to be waiting a week only to be told it’s not coming after chasing the order myself. I’m not sure they’ll be able to send what I need in time before I deliver/don’t want to take the risk so I’m off to m&s today to get the bits I need.

I requested a full refund and to their credit they did this immediately without any argument which is why I’m giving a 2 star review instead of 1.

Very disappointed

Bought maternity pyjamas for my pregnant daughter in law 23 days before her birthday.
Had them delivered direct to her home as she is 180 away from me and I didnt want them to get lost in the post. Received a call from my son on her birthday to say nothing had arrived . I sent an email with purchase number Received a call back the day after out of stock and had to send an alternative but my postage would be refunded, how kind!! The pyjamas arrived today 3 days after my complaint and my DIL birthday and 26 days from ordering, very poor service.

A company that really cares!

I would 100 percent recommend this company- their customer care is excellent! After placing an order that didn't turn up, I sent an email to chase it up. Within an hour, the owner of the company personally rang me up to apologise (on a Sunday!) and said that they would hand deliver my parcel the next day. She did not let me down and the next day I received my order as promised along with a lovely handwritten note! I can tell how much this company values its customers and will definitely be ordering from them again. The products I ordered are fantastic quality too!

Excellent customer service

Wanted to buy a beautiful pink slip dress for my own wedding but there was a problem with the shipping costs. I questioned this via email and they were so prompt and helpful with their reply. They looked into the issue, kept me updated and emailed to tell me when it was fixed. As the dress was limited in stock they even put it to one side for me and made sure it made it out for delivery on the same day of purchase. What a lovely customer experience. Thank you.

Great quailty and price - they beat all other maternity brands for me!

I bought a few dresses from Lily & Ribbon as I needed a maternity dress for a wedding in July. I'd exhausted the other typical maternity shops and couldn't find anything that was good quality and affordable. Lily & Ribbon was perfect though! All three dresses were really nice quality, different designs, prints and materials but I would have happily worn any of them.
They arrived more quickly than the original email said (brill!) and returns were easy (only returned as I couldn't really justify 3 new dresses!!)
Will 100% come to Lily and Ribbon first next time I want any maternity clothes as they just can't be beaten on price+quality (plus supporting an independent is always preferred).

Great Maternity Wear and Excellent Customer Service

This is great Maternity Wear from Lily and Ribbon. They also provide excellent customer service too. After ordering 2 items from their company I received a phone call where they gave great advice on sizing. Changed my order and went with their suggestion with the option to return free of charge. The jumpers are lovely quality and fit perfectly. My daughter loves them. Thank you so much.
