Nothing but trouble awful product

Since 2021 owner of the Litter Robot and ever since nothing but trouble. With warranty I sent the base back for technical issues. I think they replaced it with a refurbished one. Daily/weekly malfunctions of the buttons. Customer service is hard to get help from. They keep asking for videos. I didnt use mine for 2 years now started using again. Nothing but trouble!!! Its better to scoop yourself than this awful terrible thing!!! Paid more than 500 euro’s in 2021. Big thieves!!

The Best litter Robot

Having two large Maine Coon cats, we have bought several cat litter robots over the years. I can say with complete confidence that the Litter-Robot 4 is by far the best litter robot I have ever seen. It is large enough for an enormous cat, uses far less litter than other makes, and is so easy to maintain, with such easy cleaning. I wish that we had picked it up years ago.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Cannot find my information, just another excuse. I received a notice dated 9/12/2025 from Carrie P. Customer experience "excessive off line issues." I followed the instructions several times, the issue gotten worse. I have had enough of Whisker.com mealy mouth, pious verbal "we have no intention of addressing or correcting this problem!" It is the same verbal/lying crap every single time I contact whisker support. Whiskas really needs to look up the definition of "support" it is not this pious bull crap "we cannot find your information, try this that or the other." Future customers be very careful before you purchase from this company. Once it is paid for, you are on your own. Customer support is euphemism it is really "we have your money our product is crap and you are out of luck." Their AI sends you a notice that is a waste of paper and ink. I have contacted Whisker so many times your phone smokes due to my anger when I call. The only thing that is acceptable to me is FIX IT. Take all your excuses, phony verbal I call, get feed back implying the issue will be addressed. Lies, lies, lies and more lies. I have had my internet checked sent yall everything you asked. Still nothing.

Please of you are able to scoop save yourself hundreds of dollars

Just visited their website because PayPal is offering %3 cash back if you buy it through the PayPal application, then I saw that they're selling the litter robot 4th edition for six hundred and ninety nine dollars, that took my breath away, in a bad way, then I see there are reconditioned units being offered, so I checked that out and when I saw those were going for a meager discount of only $68.00 I knew then that I would never purchase anything from them. I am aware the "generic" litter robots have proven deadly, that's not an option for me, and for the price and the fact that the product will be obsolete in no time I refuse to pay for, it's not a cellular phone but they sure are behaving as if they have the latest and greatest every year, that's over consumption and potentially just a company milking consumers for a product that they are purchasing for their beloved pet. The entire experience has left me with bad feelings about the people who imare in charge, there should not be a new litter box each season, it's just ridiculous like does JT own stock in this company?

Fraud - offering warranty only to refuse to keep it

The robot worked ok for 10 months and then started to refuse to finish a cycle. The customer service team is only knowledgeable enough to try and locate the order you have placed with them (they will fail on the first attempts, ask you multiple times for the same information provided during your online enquiry, provide you with manuals and troubleshooting pdf which you have already tried to use multiple times. On the request to use your warranty and receive the spare parts for the obviously busted software or motor, they would suggest that you send them yet another video of the robot (LR3) rotating without the Bonnet - the robot is programmed to pause as soon as the bonnet is removed and no amount times pressing the reset button or any of them would change that fact.

Since they have refused to follow their own promises and provide parts as part of the warranty, they will have to deal with the Ombudsman.

Do NOT purchase any products from them unless you feel like throwing to the wind £600 for a big plastic box that would do worse than a £5 litter tray and a scoop.

RIP off postage charges

I’m rating my recent experience as per Trustpilot instructions but would say that the Litter Robot 4 that we purchased last year is utterly brilliant / life changing .
We needed a carpet mat as we’ve rescued a very poorly kitten so I needed an accurate weight for him and to know when he’d used the LR . Charged £25 shipping and assumed it was coming from the USA so fair enough . It arrived within 48 hours and had been shipped from 36 miles away . The only answer I can get from Whiskers is that it’s a flat shipping rate . I’ll never order any accessories again from them . Appalling !

I think these guys are either a scam in…

I think these guys are either a scam in the UK or the worst service ever. Approaching 3 weeks wait and still no news of my order. Reply emails are utter useless since the alleged delivery company cannot be properly contacted nor my item can be located.
If this is not resolved in 48 hours I'll just report them to my credit card company as fraudsters.

Poor Quality, Awful Customer Service
And, it doesn't work as advertised.

I bought a Litter-Robot, it's buttons malfunctioned within 7 months.
They sent a new Litter-Robot, it's buttons malfunctioned withing 8 months and they refused to honor warranty.

Horrible

The product itself worked amazingly but was unfortunately faulty. I kept trying to reach out to the seller (Litter robot) via social media and they would delete the comments and messages. Fortunately, i bought it through Amazon so i managed to get a refund but this case was dragging on since May till August and Robot litter shop was refusing to refund or pay postage costs but it was an extremely large item. they kept denying everything and wouldn’t help. They stopped respond to us and Amazon for a while and kept denying the claims that Amazon put in. They purposely waited 30 days after the item was purchased so we wouldn’t be able to legally get a refund as the terms and conditions state. We didn’t even want a refund at first, we asked for an exchange and they refused and said they would only do a repair and refused to collected it and post it. Jean, Stephanie and another worker who i can’t recall the name of was extremely rude. They refused to help and they stated that we should just pay a taxi to get it to the post office, but it wouldn’t even fit in the boot because it’s such a large item and on top of that i shouldn’t be paying and going through this much hassle to return a FAULTY item. It was absolutely ridiculous and took months of calling and emailing and it took the mangers and a higher up team in the department having to say that if you don’t agree to this we won’t allow you to sell your product on our website anymore because you can’t treat customers like this for them to actually refund us. It caused so much stress and they were so rude and unhelpful. Would never EVER buy from this seller again
