We have had an annual travel policy via Lloyd and Whyte for several years and have been very pleased with the help and advice we have recieved. In the last 2 years our circumstances have changed and Shannon has been extremely helpful with providing information and possible alternative policies. Just renewed my property and contents insurance through Tracey Morgan-Jones, Senior Client Insurance Adviser at Lloyd & White. She was excellent and always responded promptly and clearly so I knew what I needed to do. We were under a bit of time pressure in the end but we got it done in time. Thank you Tracey!

We’ve been with Lloyd & Whyte for 10 years, but this year the customer service has been appalling.
Nobody answers the phone, we’re given false promises of call-backs, and the overall experience has been one of total incompetence.
I noticed from another recent review that others are having the same experience, which sadly doesn’t surprise me.
Just yesterday, I spoke with a team member who assured me she would stand next to the insurance broker in charge and make sure she called back as soon as she was off the phone, but no call ever came.
We’re now looking elsewhere and feeling very stressed, as our house insurance has actually expired.
They don’t even deserve one star

Great customer service
I was renewing my buildings insurance and had to make some changes to the policy. Kelly Selkirk was very helpful and was able to accommodate my requests in a timely fashion. I found the whole process very easy and stress free thanks to Kelly’s very pleasant and helpful manner. I would recommend Lloyd and Whyte for their great customer service.

If I could, I would give no stars - home buildings and content insurance renewal - the annual premium rose from £913 to £2245. Customer service very poor at best and on this occasion I had to chase continually, we have been customers for over twenty years - not any more, we are also now going to change our business insurance as well, I would not recommend the company to anyone. Originally the company was recommended by a professional association, having spoken to a couple of colleagues in other practices they tell me the service offer has fallen through the floor.

Pleasant renewal process
During the renewal process I needed to contact Lloyd & White 3 times (my fault) and on each occasion I was able to speak to the actual agent who had first dealt with my renewal. In the modern world this seems to be very unusual and a privilege. The particular agent, Shannon, could not have been more helpful or friendly. I highly recommend Lloyd & White and, particularly, Shannon.
