I think it’s funny how huge corporations like you think it’s ok to freeze fresh food and sell it at a discount cause it’s going bad . Vegetables and meats that’s should never be frozen. Thinking you c... See more

Greedy Gaelan
Greedy Gaelan. Here’s a novel idea: Try setting a good example and offering consumers a break. Eliminating the 50% Make It Tonight discount and replacing it with a 30% discount is a marketing mistake. Consumers are tired of grocery stores increasing their profit margins at consumers expense.
Loblaws should be ashamed of…
Loblaws should be ashamed of themselves, the company got rich off of Canadians and now millions of Canadians are going to food banks, they could drop prices a lot and the other stores would have to follow also , thereby easing some pressure on people but no GREED at all times!
A price error nightmare
Last night around 530 pm I bought 2 packs of strawberries priced at 2.77 each. It was the only price in the area, it was clear it was supposed to be 2.77 each. Big price sign. There was only one type available, after leaving the store I find I was charged 6.99 each, 13.98, and only 340g each to boot. I called the produce manager and they denied the mistake saying I grabbed the wrong one, suggested also that the proper price was nearby. I insisted it wasn't and it was obvious this isn't my mistake because they only displayed the wrong item under the wrong price tag. The exact same thing happened in too different spots, upon walking in and in the usual spot among other produce. This is a no brainer, the code of price error behavior doesn't exempt them when the stocked the wrong item under the wrong price tag when the proper price is nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture. So I resolved to talk to customer service and if that didn't work talk to the main manager. Customer service didn't honor the code or treat me fairly with common sense. They called the produce manager and told me I simply have to accept it or return the strawberries. I said this person is lying because it was clear they were only covering their mistake. I walked home again unsatisfied especially because I couldn't find the manager and was told to call instead. I thoroughly studied the rules and exemptions, my situation matched the prerequisites for a free item and one at advertised price because of it being either their mistake or worse...intentional deception. So I called the main manager and calmly but thoroughly explained exactly what the case was and expressed my desire for what was appropriate. I also mentioned the produce guy is acting odd by evading and deceiving me covering his or someone's mistake. I explained what I thought was the obvious solution, I didn't mention that I had photo evidence of how it changed from the night before, sadly no pic from the night before. At the front of the store they corrected the mistake, at the usual location it was still priced 2.77 with a total mix mash of the right and wrong berries with no indication of 6.99 for the wrong ones. It was super obvious this was not customers mixing things up nor my error, I never do that, I'm careful, and it happened in two spots with the same item. What I experienced next was nothing short of criminal immoral lies and this manager was so terrible that they were throwing different excuses at me, contradicting themselves, lying, making zero sense and being just an awful person. I started off extremely calm and professional but after hearing what reminded of an episode of the twilight zone or some kind of prank or nightmare alternate reality....I raised my voice, it was as if they didn't hear a thing I said and tried to talk over me in attempt deceive just like the other manager. I was in a relative state of disbelief, I was very surprised. It was the most absurd, unfair customer service behavior I've ever witnessed in my life over something I'm clearly getting done wrong by. First I walk through cold to get strawberries excited at the price because I hadn't had them in months due to outrageous prices, then I get ripped off, then I get a run around on the phone, I return them but attempt being justly treated again with customer service, get the same nonsense, then I call the manager I think will help me but they turn out to be similar to a hustler lying thief, acting totally immature. It reminded me of a child or someone who didn't grow up, a Jerry Springer show...mind boggling audacity disregard for fairness or customer service. Deplorable behavior for professionals truly. The They hung up on me stating I was yelling for raising my voice meanwhile they were too only everything out of their mouth was a lie to deceive me and my words were only sensible truth and natural responses to someone lying, I think they had hoped I was just going to be easier to push over or trick with statements that didn't add up in any way. What they said was they must not have had the right berries, and if a customer puts the wrong item there it's not their fault, I explained they were all the wrong item and there was no proper price for the ones there, I explained everything in advance and they still proceeded to attempt a cover up. I wonder how many people they stole from. Because at this point, that's precisely what it is when you stick it to your customers then intentionally deceive them. Disgusting behavior. Almost failed to mention it was when I told the manager I have a photo proving they are lying to me taken only minutes before our conversation that they started acting like squirmy panic stricken snake that they told me to call the other manager because I'm yelling. I can just see them now, damage control fit, wracking their corrupt brains out.

Random bag check at self check out
They randomly chose to ck my bag. I only had books from the library in the bag. This was at the Independent store at Champlain mall, Vancouver. A guy calling himself as the manager was very sarcastic, arrogant & rude. His name was Shaun. He should get training how to talk to people. If there is a policy to check bags, they should check everyone. On what criteria they select whom to check.
I believe this is discrimination and harassment.
Turkey Ham having mold
We bought 6 packets of Buddig Turkey Ham. Several of them had mold on them when we opened the next day. It was shocking as it was well before the expiry date and the mold had already spread to 25% of the ham.
Doesn’t Loblaws do its own quality check before putting food on the shelf ? When we returned the item, there was no apology from the customer service agent. He just took it as a normal refund request.
Loblaws Redway location Pharmacy district mgr
I’m a loyal regular customer at the Leaside location on redway . The pharmacy which I have been using for the last 20 yrs or so has gone down hill in every aspect with errors being made . I reached out to the district mgr of the pharmacy by email and they have yet to call . When a customer take the time to reach out and you refuse to call it explains a lot on why that department has gone down hill . The operation is just as bad or worse that the mgt that run it .
Here some advice to “ operations “ never take a customer concern as a complaint but them taking the time to help you improve .
raising food prices
raising food prices, making people go somewhat broke, and making them use the food bank as if they haven't made enough money with last year and this year so far with about 2.4 billion dollars and making people go kind of broke.

Where is the price match guarantee.

I went to get some fried chicken and was told they were out, but at 1:00 extractly they said they have a whole chicken coming out of the oven. The young lady took out the whole chicken and cut it with a pair of scissors into three thighs and one breast. When I went home to eat them they were hard and not well done....the meat wasn't falling off the bone and they were very greasy! August 26,2023 1:00

DON'T BUY PC CHOICE DOG FOOD - THEY RUN OUT AND YOU'LL BE STUCK !!!
This is the 2nd time in about 3 years that Loblaws has run out of their own brand PC tinned dog food -
What do they expect us to do ?
You cannot just chop and change food for dogs, like humans - you have to keep to the same one.
So don't start on this dog food - you'll run into problems.
Keep it up superstore Nanaimo.
Keep it up superstore Nanaimo, BC. Normally I would shop at this store as I had thought, in the past, that your prices were reasonable and in doing, so excepted the rather poor quality of produce. However with your increasingly high prices, yes, even your yellow label brand, you have me looking elsewhere to shop. Your no name label canned milk that used to sell for $1.19 then $1.29 in the past three months has gone to $1.49, $1.79 to $1.99, nope, not doing it. I went to Costco and bought a case of Brand name canned milk that worked out to $1.66 a can! This is only one example of why now, I shop around!
Loblaws is a great place to shop
Hello Loblaws team,
Loblaws is a great place to shop - be it quality, shopping experience or customer service.
We have a request. Can you kindly get sweet lime grown in Arizona ( also in India ) as these can only grow in sweltering climatic conditions and are not found locally in Canada? These fruits are very nutritious and have excellent health benefits.
Thank You,
A very Happy Customer
Racism, ageism, hate at Loblaws
I was shopping at Loblaws, 10 Lower Jarvis Street.
I stood in a long line, and said a few words to my friend. Suddenly, a woman in front of me told me to move to the back of the line.
Then, she asked "What is your country?" "I am Canadian", I replied. "Don't mess with Portuguese!" she said in a hostile, threatening tone.
She went on and on about what country I came from, also about nationality of my friend, and what languages we speak, even said something about wanting to hit us. We just kept silent.
As that woman approached the cash register, she told the cashier that I don't understand English. So she called me "bad", "rude", "old", even insulted my "grandchildren" which she presumed I have. Finally, she told the cashier to scan each item very slow, to make me wait. Meanwhile, the long line was getting even longer...
There were cashiers, other employees and Security at this store. Nobody intervened, nobody tried to stop this embarrassing tirade of an aggressive woman with a smell of alcohol on her breath. The cashier only tried to please her by selling more cans to her, while this woman was uttering threats.
Pissy attitude
Went thru cash at approximately 8 pm Saturday July 29. Daughter went thru and decided against the purchase of an item so the item ended up on my order and I questioned the cashier Nicole why my purchase totaled 10 dollars more and she says to me why did you put it there then.. which was very rude and no apology from her.. horrible to treat customer like crap. I also saw her having a good conversation with a young worker there so I guess we disturbed that hence why her mood was pissy when we went thru as there was no one else there in line!!!!
There has been recent hostility towards…
There has been recent hostility towards a poc girl who was just trying to get her food. She was physically assaulted, by you guessed it, a white man. There was a lady who was giving her the food, not only was the packaging and quality of the food poor, but also she was severely disrespectful towards this girl and even had the audacity to call her racial slurs. Everyone who spoke up was against the girl. Y’all suck
Racial discrimination
I was recently informed of their treatment against poc, mainly black people, and that in one situation of which I was told about this problem, the sister of the victim talked about how she was physically assaulted by a white man and neither the company nor anyone present helped at all. Reading these reviews now makes me realize that this hasn't been the first time and this is just absolutely disgusting.
I went with my sister and the employees…
I went with my sister and the employees where racist, they hate people of color as long as you’re not white.funny thing is I was visiting the country and decided to branch, I would advise people to boycott this place
