Easy to use and no problems with exchange

Tried to sell 4500€ in btc all good, seller then says he sent via instant sepa like agreed. nothing arrived, so i uploaded a video of my bank account that nothings there or incoming. Called an admin in and he couldnt do a single thing. Now im waiting for a staff for 16h already and i doubt i get my money even tho i have crystal clear proof that i did not get anything

After buying about $700 in btc I went to withdraw the money to my wallet.I submitted the withdraw request and the money never arrived.When I contacted them they just say the withdraw was sent but it is not true the money never arrived to my wallet and they do not give support to even address this crisis , it is a big deal for me. If a company is going to have the privilege of handling users money they better not steal, this caused a loss to my family, these days money is tight.If they fix this I will remove my bad feedback.

5 days no response. Told me to put LCS code clashy in my next P2P trade offer. Told them my vendor application in progress, I can't create an offer even. Asked them how to do it? Im confused. Ghosted me, today I made a new ticket, and they promply replied in 30 mins by adding it to my last ticket and still no response or help. Please help me, I want to sell my crypto, and create an offer

I got scammed out of $100 on here today. I've used the Local Coin Swap 3 times successfully. Today I sold $100 Amazon gift card to trader Victor7777 and he straight up fleeced me. He put the bitcoin in escrow and I sent him a picture of the Amazon card with scratched off code. He sends back a screen shot showing $0 and says the cards empty then he puts the emoji of the laughing face drinking tears. What a POS, he straight up stole it. I bought the card, have the receipt and know the $100 was on there. I disputed it reported him and now 6 hours later I still haven't heard anything from the sites support or moderator. Avoid this site at all cost. Victor7777 has a 4.9 star rating with over 10,000 trades on the site. It's his word against mine and the site will never reimburse me although I am shocked that I still haven't heard anything back from their support. I learned a $100 lesson today

UPDATE: so after receiving not one message from support they sided with the scammer who stole my $100 amazon card. Never emailed me or anything. Awful company. Beware of this site. Like I said my first 3 trades went fine but all it takes is one bad one to ruin everything. Worst part is because I lost the dispute with Victor7777 they won't even let me give him a bad rating. No wonder he has a 4.9 star rating. How many other people has this guy ripped off? And the site won't even let us leave a bad rating and review for him. This site is garbage

ALMOST 10HOURS AND THE CRYPTO I PAID WASN'T RELEASE YET FROM THE SELLER AND CONTACTED SUPPORT AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE. AND IF THE SELLER JUST SIMPLY SAY THAT HE DID NOT RECEIVE THE PAYMENT WITHOUT SHOWING ANYTHING THEN I GUESS THEY WILL BE IN HIS SIDE WHICH I CLEARLY SHOWN RECEIPT THAT I PAID THAT IS REALLY POOR SERVICE DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS SITE IT IS SCAMMMMMM!!!

The verification process to become a vendor is very simple and 1-2 business days max time frame. They replied to all my emails throughout the process very fast. No confusion and excellent support

I was scammed on my very first trade on LocalCoinSwap. I am not a crypto pro but have traded for several years without incident. The person I was trading with was able to spoof her payment and collect my btc. There was no recourse and the admin offered very minimal help.
Don’t lose your assets like I did.

I purchased $500 of Eth using Local Coinswap using Cashapp. Seller refused to release my Eth after receiving my payment. Local Coinswap as administrator intervened and told me to wait. I showed them that I paid already but administrators sided with the sellers and now I'm out $500

Good support the process of register was simple

Tried to register several ways but imposible : sometimes the email confirmation isn’t sent so the email becomes trapped . If I logged out then wouldn’t recognise my sign in credentials loosing access t my account (tried with 3 different emails addresses ). Terrible terrible

Smooth, secure and fast experience

I've been using the platform for about a year now and for the most part it's been great. You're not typically dealing with anyone beside another person who's either buying your crypto or selling you crypto so as long as you can find good reputable sellers/buyers all is well.

Recently, I had a trade that didn't go so smooth. About a week ago I opened a trade to purchase litecoin via Zelle and everything went normal at first but once the seller got my Zelle, their account got limited and they refused to release the crypto in escrow. I understand in the sense that they didn't have access to the money, but as far as I am concerned I have zero control over that. That is between them and their bank. Mind you, their trade agreement had no clause about a limited account or anything of the sort.

So, predictably, I disputed the trade. This is where my problem lies: I understand localcoinswap has limited control over issues like these however their support when it comes to these types of issues is within their control.

Pretty quickly we got a response from a support team member however they were entirely unhelpful. They suggested to wait and see if they money was returned to my account and it still has not been, over a week later now. I've tried reaching out to both the seller and support, both are ignoring my messages.

Also, this trade was for $1,800, no little amount of money. In my support ticket, I've messaged twice now in the last couple days and haven't had a response from support in 5 days.

My only request has been for the seller to contact their bank to try to get this resolved (as I've contacted my bank and they said I cannot do anything, it's entirely on the sellers side.) I'm not getting replies from the seller and LCS support isn't doing anything in an attempt to get the seller to answer my messages and fulfill my requests in order to get this issue resolved.

Overall, I understand issues like this happen and they're out of LCS's control but they could be better at replying to support requests, holding sellers accountable, and just expediting situations like these so both parties can get their funds back.
