Your site does not offer the option of direct contact with the local surveyors. Mybuilder and similar sites allow the browser to select the companies that meet their requirements.

It was a useful excercise , I had five responses which were all very responsive.

Thank goodness for a website that is clear and concise. Actual detail displayed in an easy-read format and without all the garbage so often found these days. Well done and thank you.

Contacted several, one agreed he could do it within a week. Sent emails to confirm instructions, tried to contact to firm up the date, on site. Tried to call throughout that day as time was of the essence, no response to calls or emails. Had to phone around to get another, losing two weeks in the process. Not happy.

I liked how it sent my information to a lot of surveyors so I received a lot of information to parse through, however, I disliked the amount of phone calls/texts I received from surveyors immediately after a simple search. I would like to be able to opt out if possible as I found this quite intrusive and stressful.

We had a quick video call to show him where we are and have arranged a site visit for next week. The process has been fast and easy. I couldn't have asked for more.

A couple of recommended surveyors responded immediately. Of course it is early days and I wait to see how the actual job pans out but this site certainly gives a quick way to find professionals who might be interested in the job.

I was really impressed with my experience using Local Surveyors Direct Ltd. After answering a few questions about the type of work/extension I was looking for I received 5 replies from local surveyors offering their professional services. I emailed them and arranged telephone calls to discuss the build further and found it to be refreshing to be able to have a conversation with somebody who knows and understands what is needed and the planning application process because before that I was completely lost. So it was a great experience for me.

The visit was very easy to arrange, the surveyor arrived exactly as on time, the inspection was very thorough and the report was delivered within 24 hours and most importantly it was very clearly laid out and thus was easy to follow and understand.
An excellent job well done for a very reasonable price, and I would definitely recommend Steve for any similar job.

Very bad. Contacted electrician and all he ask was the work didn’t bother to give quotes and never got back.

Choose agent for EPC. Called and let him know the details and phone numbers to contact as I am the landlord.

Poor service

Posted my query on 18th April. I was contacted in the evening of the same day, and the old water tank was removed the following morning.
