Very smooth process. I chose the surveyor Paul Field because he was local to me and also I found a review here that mentioned him. He was very professional, friendly and efficient. The certificate came through very quickly and showed up on the Government Website on the same day we got the certificate. I would highly recommend Paul.

I asked for a valuation omly and all the quotes I received were for a survey.

I filled in the form and was sent the names of companies, in my local area that were suited to my requirements.
I had contact emails from most and chose the company that was a perfect fit for my application.

Terrible experience – avoid
I signed up to Local Surveyors Direct Limited purely to review prices and compare options. Instead, I was immediately bombarded with emails from multiple surveyors — at least 20 so far.

I did not consent to my details being shared with numerous third-party providers, yet that’s exactly what happened. Rather than helping me make an informed decision, the service resulted in spam and unwanted contact.

If you’re just looking to compare prices without being chased by endless emails, I wouldn’t recommend using this service. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a comparison platform.

I was recommended Local Surveyors Direct through my estate agent. They fit me in very quickly and maintained regular communications up to the date of the survey. We spoke regularly via email and, although the report took longer to receive than initially expected due to the Christmas break, when received the report was very comprehensive and easy to follow. Nick responded quickly to any questions or clarifications as a result and was very helpful and friendly, and clearly knowledgeable! I’d recommend them and utilise them again in future if I have a need to do so

I went to register to get a list of local surveyors and their services and quotes. After I submitted the form, it started. 20-30 calls, 20+ SMSs, 30+ emails. My phone wouldn’t stop ringing and beeping for hours. Don’t use this service. The whole experience put me off getting back to anyone entirely! Call a local estate agency and ask them for a recommendation instead.

I booked an electrician for an EICR certificate after was due for renewal.Nothing has changed at the property at all but the electrician failed it on 3 issues that needed’ work’.I found this strange and booked another highly recommended electrician from business colleagues a week later who passed it without problem.The electrician from local surveyors direct had very little trade history on companies house.Won’t use again

Their response was quick, providing a good list of experience surveyors to choose from.

I was able to get all the information I required for an expired EPC. From the website I was directed towards quotes that were given by EPC assessors. They emailed and messaged me and I wS, able to choose the one with best reviews. And am very happy I got to use the services of this website.
I now have a brand new EPC on the govt website. All this happened within 48 hours.
