The perfect cycle shop.
I've used Locks for years and they are always knowledgeable and honest. Great prices and very efficient workshop. Just got back from an annual service of my Cube Ebike and it rides like a dream .

I bought a bike from a national retailer. The bike arrived in a bad way and missing a vital part. The original retailer were clueless and wouldn’t help. Emailed Locks and Andy got back to me the next day. Despite the fact Locks hadn’t even sold me the bike, they kept replying to my emails which in turn helped me source what I needed to sort my bike. Excellent customer service. I will definitely be using them from now on.
Great service, quick turnaround and good value. Brilliant
I contacted Locks regarding an upcoming ride on the Cantii Way. I needed some help with a particular issue and, of the two local companies contacted, Locks was the only one to respond. Not only did they respond, but Andy suggested a perfect solution. Top marks for customer service even before I become a customer.
We bought 4 electric bikes off Locks. We found them knowledgeable, friendly and with a good stock to choose from. You can possibly buy cheaper off the internet, but what you need is a local dealer who can look after the servicing of the bike. If you are considering buying an electric bike then getting quality like a Bosch mid drive motor is the way to go. We bought cheap some years ago and although they did the job our new bikes are far better.
I must have been unlucky but my experience of lock cycles was extremely disappointing and I personally would never use them again,
I bought a new e bike from them in November 2020 and because of the cold and wet weather only clocked 100miles when the derallia snapped and completely broke, I was told to bring it in which I did ( herne bay to sandwich) after waiting outside Andy informed me it was not under warranty and asked how deep my pockets were? I was then told they couldn’t have got a replacement till October 2021!
I left with broken bike feeling quite deflated, fortunately a friend ordered a replacement on eBay and fixed it in a week.
I understand Locks are very busy and there is a shortage of parts due to the pandemic but in my case the customer service was terrible and as I had bought the bike from there would have expected a little more help then what I received,

When my bicycle broke a gear shifter cable in Sandwich. These guys fixed it and addressed a few other issues fast, without fuss. We were on our way within the hour.
