Expensive, small room, issues with room

Expensive, small room, and issues with rooms. It was very expensive and much worse than other hotels in the area. The first room had issues, and I got a new room, and the second one had different issues, but I didn't complain. The issues were pretty bad but I don't want to say what they were so they can't identify us.

:'Envie des Mets Rang du Fliers near Berke

Hotel reserved, arrived 16:00hrs, no response to knocking on tatty door directly on pavement to main road. Hotel appeared empty. Not so, at around 16:40hrs finally saw some life behind door - a large Wieneramer! Then a member of staff, plus 2 noisy children playing in the bar/living room which served as reception. Pay for the night or lose 1 night's cost. Turns out the Hotel was a motel. very poor room and facilities and the train line rune just 10 metres from the building. Advice - DONT GO THERE.
I'm surprised Logis include this place on its list.

Worst logis restaurant

Visited Logis Hotel restaurant in Airvault last week for an evening meal. Whilst service was promt and fry the meal was dreadful. I had a steak which was not fit for a dog and even that was badly cooked. It came with a glob of pepper sauce which must have come from a jar. Then asked for a dessert which was also indeible. Not standard of meal we have had in other Logis hotels.

Logis Hôtel Cottage in Calais.

Logis Hôtel Cottage in Calais.. is supposed to be a 3-star Hotel..it needs to shut down completely...very old, things don't work, and mattress and base stains of urine, miser on coffee and tea, only 1 sachet a person, write to the company..1 reply that says they will get in touch with me...but never happen is the worse hotel I ever encounter in my life...keep away from this meany company

Credit card fraud

I booked for three nights at a Logis hotel in France and had to provide my credit card details as security. I had a problem with the restaurant that spoilt the stay. I left after two nights and the manager agreed to charge me only for the two nights. I kept the invoice and receipt as proof. Twelve days after I left, and without me knowing, my credit card details were used in the name of the hotel to take 195 euros from my account. I am reporting this transaction as theft. It's chilling to know my credit card details were retained without my permission after the bill had been settled and could be accessed to take money from me at any time. I'll need to research if this is allowed by data protection law.

Logis loyalty program

Logis run a loyalty program which I am finding exceptional! It’s linked to many different outlets, and is very easy to use..points build up quickly and save you money..so far the best loyalty card I have found..logis hotels are generally very good for both accommodation and eating..

No booking confirmation, no answers from logishotels

I didn't get a booking confirmation and logishotels simply did not care or answer my mails.

Stay away from logis hotels

Stay away from logis hotels and from booking.com
Absolutely horrible experience at booking.com. Made a booking through booking .com and the hotel manager at the property - logis cottage hotel in calais, France, refused to honour it. Lied to me that he had booked for me an alternate accommodation that was paid for. When I went to the alternate hotel , they refused to honour his transfer 'letter' and I lost out by having to pay euro 51 to logis cottage hotel via booking.com and euro 79.90 at the B &B hotel in calais for the same night. logis hotel and booking .com are cheating their customers. Booking .com has the nerve to offer a 27 Euro refund in return of my loss of Euro 51 + euro 79.90!

I will leave these reviews on all public forums available to me and take this case to the consumer court in the UK.

Logis de France - Inflexible and Unacceptable cancellation policy

Do not use the central reservation service when booking to stay in a Logis hotel. The cancellation period of 10 days is inferior to other hotel booking websites and in any case it is far better I now think to book with individual hotels direct.
Recently, I booked to stay in a hotel with a restaurant and received confirmation that demi-pension was available. Then, the hotel owner of the Bastide St Bach in Suze-La-Rousse decided he did not have enough people staying to open his restaurant so withdrew his offer of food. This was appalling as it would have meant driving elsewhere to find a restaurant after a full day's driving through France. He also then refused to cancel my booking so I was charged the full cost of an overnight stay. As this was after the 10 day cancellation period, the central Logis 'service' refused to do anything about it. They advertise facilities which are not available and do nothing about their members' unacceptable behaviour.
Much better to check with individual hotels first about what they can provide and what their cancellation policy is should they fail to provide it.
