I've enjoyed Richard Jones insightful and intriguing walking tours of London since 2014 when I first did a St.Pauls tour one Saturday afternoon and even as a Londoner, I learned so much.
He has dozens of tours so you're bound to find one that suits you from Historical, Literary {Shakespeare, Sherlock Holmes & Dickens}, Pub Walks, Ghost & Horror tours which are done in the evening for added atmosphere, and special tours like Harry Potter, The Beatles & Charles Dickens Birthday Tours.
Usually 2 hours long for just £10 and in small intimate groups its always great fun, I've really enjoyed them, in fact I booked another today in a few weeks time {Inns of Courts Tour which includes the Round Church of the Knights Templar which I'm so excited about} .
As he's been on TV all over the world for his knowledge on Jack the Ripper, Haunted London, The Norman Conquest, Charles Dickens, the history of Halloween, hidden and secret London, the historic pubs of the City and Harry Potter's London, so you know you're in great hands.
His monthly emails even includes free walking tour events which I think is most generous of him especially as he's an expert in the historical matters he talks on and is a Blue Badge Guide holder {the highest accolade awarded by the Institute of Tourist Guiding, Britain's governing body for guides}.
I highly recommend these tours whether you're a Londoner like myself or a visitor to this great city, you'll learn so much and will have huge fun doing so.
