Following an attempted theft of my car I stumbled on a video on YouTube of Otto fitting a Starline immobiliser to the same model car.
I contacted him in the morning to find out prices. Having considered my options and the vulnerability of my car I decided to call back and see when he could fit me in. It transpired the job he was working on was easier than he’d planned and he offered to come over that afternoon.
I sat with him whilst he installed the immobiliser and was impressed with his wealth of knowledge and the methodical and tidy way he worked.
I had a teething problem with using the mobile key, but we have identified an alternative solution.
Would 100% recommend and use again.

I do not normally write reviews but on this occasion feel compelled to do so given the outstanding service I received recently from Otto of The London Car Alarm Company.

By way of background, and in order to put into context the review that I am providing, I spent a considerable amount of time researching (in depth) the most suitable alarm and immobiliser system for my needs. My decision to install an aftermarket car alarm and immobiliser system was driven by the increase in thefts of keyless cars. Otto had previously installed an alarm/immobiliser system on my VW Golf Mk-3 in the mid 90s and which worked perfectly for the circa 8 years I had that car therefore I considered Otto would no doubt be amongst the few remaining contenders to fit my alarm/immobiliser system once I had whittled down my list, not only because of his previous work but also because of his extensive experience not only in the digital immobilisation field but also analogue immobilisation (which not that many installers can do these days or are willing to do) which makes the car even more secure.

I would highly recommend that anyone who is contemplating having an alarm or immobiliser to seriously consider using London Car Alarm Company. I liaised with Otto for an extensive period of time bouncing ideas and wish lists after researching the various alarm/immobilisers available - Otto’s would not let me sway him towards installing an alarm/immobiliser that he thought would not meet up to my expectations even if I mistakenly had come to the conclusion that such alarm/immobiliser was ideal following research. Ottos’ patience, know-how, ideas, “can do” approach and attention to detail when carrying out the installation (it is impossible to tell the car panels were removed) meant that I was able to have installed a bespoke product which met my needs and now means I can rest assured that I have taken extensive measures to ensure my vehicle is protected against theft.

I am extremely happy in terms of the end to end service, quality of the products, workmanship, after sakes service/assistance and the competitive price offered by the London Car Alarm Company and and as such will be recommending Otto to any other persons who are contemplating any alarm/immobiliser or tracker installs

Otto was very efficient in getting the Starline installed as soon as I needed it given I was picking up the car sooner than I expected. System works very well and Otto was extremely helpful in guiding me through how it all works. Would recommend

Excellent service from Otto today. Pre sales was excellent and hassle free appointment. Fully explained everything and was so patient when my sim card wouldn't load up. Not his fault but he had a replacement card that I was able to use and activate. I'm pleased that we have met him because it will be peace of mind going forward knowing that he can deal with any other equipment in the future. Value for money indeed.

Called Otto last year and he recommended fitting a starline E96 to my BMW 440i. He did a great job and is always available if i have any issues or questions. Highly recommended.

I contacted the London car alarm company on a Tuesday morning and they had scheduled an appointment on the afternoon to fit a Ghost II System and a tracker.
Everything was clearly explained and the work was done cleanly, swiftly and professionally.
Otto's knowledge of the alarm systems and cars he works on were second to none. On top of that he's a super nice chap.
Highly recommended for anyone who needs help with their car security concerns.

London car alarm fitted a star line alarm to my Mercedes Benz Vito 2020. Otto went over and beyond to help me, his service is fantastic and his knowledge of alarms is brilliant. I would recommend Otto to friends and family because he is so helpful and fills you with confidence. Otto is very responsive and always returns calls.

Disgusting individual. AVOID!

Rang for a quote and explained that we had a mechanic working on the car this Saturday to carry out repairs and service to a vintage car and was looking for an alarm to be fitted. I explained that I would be getting a couple of other quotes and would call him back the following week, if I wanted to book his services. I then got a text message from him on the Saturday saying I'd booked him and he'd missed out on other customers! A complete an utter lie, we certainly wouldn't have booked him on the Saturday, as the car was with the garage and secondly he was just over twice the price for the same alarm, as the two companies I called immediately afterwards.

He rang me screaming and swearing. I tried to explain to him that I hadn't booked him or anyone else. I then asked him, what the registration number was for the vehicle, as surely he'd have that, if we had booked him. But no he didn't, OK how about my name, no he didn't know that either!

I contacted Otto explained that i have a classic Vw golf mk2 gti it was fitted with a Sigma car alarm. The problem i had was the car is 27 years old and the alarm system fitted was fitted many years ago but still fully working but the remote key fob which works the alarm was nearly on its last legs but was still working.I managed to buy a brand new fob of the internet which was great so now i needed to get it coded to the car, i rang around a few car alarm fitters only to be told i needed the pin number or the key pad which may have been fitted to the car years ago, i had neither so i was to told by others it can not be programmed to the car,WELL maybe these other alarm companies want to speak to Otto as he managed to cycle to my house as he was in my area it took him 20 minutes to program the new fob to my old car alarm with no programming equipment just his superior knowledge of the product which is fitted to my car.So what can i say i'm a happy customer as the problem i had he has sorted it. He is also very honest and genuine guy. I would and will be highly recommending Otto to any one i know in the future. Top man 5 stars!!!

Having purchased a car I needed some security. I was referred to the London Car Alarm Co. The engineer/owner of this company was very knowledgable, took time to explain various features to help me make the right decision for my requirement. After sales service was excellent also as I had some queries few days after which was no issue and again very helpful. Highly recommended should you require someone professional to fit vehicle security.
