I had a great experience with this company. The electrician arrived on time, was polite and explained everything clearly. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard, and they made sure to tidy up afterwards. Communication was straightforward from start to finish and the pricing was fair. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrician!

The guys were extremely helpful and open with any additional work that was needed, took the time to run through everything with me to show any issues and give advise on what to do with no pressure to get the work done by them.
Did a great job and I would highly recommend.

Hired London electricians direct to do my EICR test. I was very impressed with the quick and friendly service I received. The electrician couldn’t have been more friendly and explained in detail what they would be charging me for. The price is competitive and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I got in touch with LED about an EICR for a new flat in London. Super knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and they broke down exactly what was required with no fuss or use of jargon I didn’t understand. Highly recommended!

Excellent service from start to finish. The electricians arrived punctually, were very friendly and respectful of the house, and carried out the work to a very high standard. After having issues with our kitchen lights and downstairs plugs for weeks it’s a relief to have them working well again!
They clearly stated the found issue and explained how they were going to resolve it in a way that I could understand. Overall, I was very happy with the work.

Had my 5-year EICR done on my 2-bed flat last week by London Electricians Direct and couldn’t be happier with the service. Super easy to book, great communication, and the engineer was on time, polite, and really helpful. Everything was explained clearly and the report came through really quickly after the visit. Fair price too! Would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone needing electrical checks done.

Hi, I have a rental property and I’ve got these guys out to give me my five year certificate? First of all they came an hour early and then left because the tenant wasn’t in? Then had to be rebooked. The property failed on two items IP rating for a bathroom light and a fuse on the fuse board rcbo Had to be changed from a40to a 32 amp ? Because they came back at me for Remedio work was £400 plus VAT???? The cost of materials was £20 be aware they charge £85 plus VAT for a five-year certificate which comes to £105 Clearly they make the money up by overcharging will not recommend these people As I thought I would have an answer for everything, I won’t be using them and I won’t be recommending them. You can keep your overheads LOL

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional customer service

I recently called London Electricians Direct to enquire about an NVQ opportunity and was met with dismissive and unhelpful behaviour from the person who answered the phone. As soon as I gave my name, his tone changed noticeably. He repeatedly stated that “nobody is here to help you” without making any effort to listen to my query or direct me to the correct person.

The conversation made me feel that I was being judged and dismissed based on my background rather than the content of my enquiry. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable — especially from a company representing itself as professional and serving a diverse city like London.

I am extremely disappointed by the lack of respect and basic courtesy shown, and I strongly urge the company to review its approach to customer service and ensure all callers are treated fairly and without bias.

Hired to do an EICR but turned around with a quote for a scope of work over £1K to fix the "outstanding" issues (this was not the brief). Had another electrician look at this - did the work for half the cost of this quote. Do not use them - they are merely scamming for work.

Friendly team but low quality of work. Report contained loads of limitations and things that weren't inspected and claimed I'd agreed to this, which is totally untrue. Also they left the oven on.

Ian & Tayler came around to do my EICR on a purchase which turned out to be unsatisfactory. They talked me through exactly what was wrong vs the up to date code, explained the process of a new install and cracked on. Super quick, competitively priced and very knowledgeable team.

I’ve since had them back for a both re-wire on a new kitchen, and also bedside sockets (had to chase out a 1950’s brick wall…). Incredibly efficient, guided on best practise and completely transparent throughout - I’d recommend to anyone.

Arrived on time, completed the job and left the place tidy. Professional and efficient. Will use again.
