Incorrect currency conversion= deceptive practices. When I went to check out the website suggested I pay in my local currency (US dollars) instead of GBP. They listed it would use the current conversion rate but it didn’t. I got charged 7% more by them. My credit card doesn’t add any conversion fees or added rates becuase I have platinum status. I verified it was all London Theater. It’s clear they have deceptive practices to make any extra money they can off of foreigners. Beware!
-Update to their response-
Your website states it’s at the current exchange rate. It says nothing about adding additional fees. I stand by my review that it’s deceptive and DOES NOT use the current exchange rate even though it says it will.

I was amazed to find seats in August at a sensible and reasonable price for a mainstream London theatre as they are usually so expensive. I find it surprising that people are prepared to pay over £200 for a seat. The maximum for this production that I saw was £187.
I thought at first they were restricted view seats but thankfully they are not.
Nice one London Theatre.

This has been an easy way to get good seats for lots of shows. I had an issue with a purchase not going through after purchasing several others and I got connected to Lucy on the website chat and she solved the problem right away. It wasn't even imminent-- I was buying tickets a month in advance, and she still solved the issue right away for me.

We purchased tickets to ABBA for Aug 31, 3:00 show with a protection plan. Immediately realized that given the parameters of when we’d need to cancel, the protection plan would not be valuable as we’d be on the plane coming to London. We canceled the tickets immediately and received a voucher to buy again, which we did. Same show, same seats. The Voucher was for $537.43 USD. The cost of the rebooked tickets without the protection plan was $493.47 USD, thus leaving a balance of $43.96 on the voucher. I contacted the London Theatre and after a lengthy conversation was told they could not refund the balance from the voucher but that we could use it for another show. Of course we are to going to be in London long enough to attend another show so the remaining balance is useless to us. I woud have thought that an exception could have been made but the person I “chatted” with was unyielding. Needless to say we think the ticketing process is faulty and should have just kept the first set of tickets with the protection plan if this is how they operate.

During my layover yesterday my purse was stolen at the airport. Because my passport was in the purse, I was not allowed to continue my flight to London. This meant that I had tickets to four different shows, which I could not get to. I contact London Theatre and within a few short minutes they issued me a voucher so I could come at a later time. London Theatre made a very difficult and disappointing event, feel much better as we love the West End and cannot wait to see the shows once I secure a replacement passport. Great customer service.

Ordered tickets for Romeo & Juliet London via this company. Tried to download the tickets the day before the show to be told they were cancelled. A voucher for the same amount was attached with the following code:xxxxxx
The voucher expired one month before we were informed the show was cancelled.
Their chat system said they never cancelled the show or issued a voucher despite me giving them the details and issue codes. Refused to refund or issue a new voucher. Impossible to speak to a human. Basic fraud on my credit card so I’ll try to get a refund that way. Don’t touch these online cowboys as it is impossible to speak to a human and their chat bot is designed to run you round in circles.
Update: 28/07/26
Just goes to show that calling companies out on here for bad practices works.
They came back and provided a voucher for the full value.

Brought tickets via this company online, thought I was on the official ticket site. At no point did it advise the fave value of the ticket, I paid £16 above the face value, tried to cancel but only offered a refund via a voucher, why would I want a voucher to buy over priced tickets? I am trying to get a refund from my bank as purchased via a credit card. Very unhappy and buyer beware! There are decent ticket agents who don’t fleece customers

I have lost £60 after purchasing 4 tickets.
Rip off firm who have charged me £15 more per ticket than from the theater site.
Do not buy from this rip off website. Always look at the theatre website tickets first before looking elsewhere.

This review is only regarding the ticket's prices, and not the theatre itself. Just booked tickets for Sting's musical The last ship from London Theatre. Couple of days later I found out there are significantly cheaper tickets for a lot better seats from LW Theatres. For example the same seat is £189 from London Theatre, but only £150 from LW Theatres. Why is this being allowed?
