We absolutely loved Hadestown. The cast were amazing including the understudies who were playing the parts of Orpheus and Penelope. However, our seats in the Grand Circle (A13 & 14) really should have been labelled as “restricted view” because, in order to see any of the stage, we had to lean right forward which was very uncomfortable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show, the performances were very strong especially Hermes and Persephone and the music/singing was excellent.
Hadestown is a great take on Orpheus and Eurydice's story and was wonderfully executed by the cast at Lyric Theatre!
