Fantastic show... excellent performances. Really super to meet the actors afterwards.
I do think the blurb and advertising is a bit misleading! But other than that it was fantastic. Truly didnt know where it was going to go at all. I really enjoyed the use of projectors and Paten hughes is so captivatingly good as Katya I could not keep my eyes of her. Robert Sean Leonard her costar also held up really strongly next to her, I didnt expect his character to become what it was near the end and I think the hints of not only his past but hers truly helped sew this blanket of misinformation both characters were telling. Amazing writing so cudos to everyone working on it.
Amazing performance and very funny story from nowadays.
I really enjoyed the acting, both Robert and Paten really were the characters. The story had a great premise and the added detail of technology was smart, but at times may have got in the way. I would highly recommend a visit to see this performance because it is worth it. You can see how much time and care when in to making the piece from everyone involved, from the actors to the crew.
Excellent play the two actors were amazing, the set was very clever loved it
Great leading performances and world-class staging, this complex battle cracks along to a startling conclusion. Impressive.
I went to see The Interview at the Riverside, and wow, what a show! The story was super interesting and really made me think about how we all use social media and the effect it has on our lives. It felt so relevant and thought-provoking without being preachy. The production itself was lovely. I especially loved the live projections against the wall such a clever touch. It made the whole thing more immersive and gave the play an extra layer, almost like stepping into a different dimension. The acting was just amazing. Honestly, I don’t know how the cast managed to remember so many lines, but they delivered them with so much energy and emotion. Every moment felt real, and they kept the audience hooked the whole way through. I won’t tell more to avoid spoilers. Definitely worth seeing if you get the chance!
We wanted this play to be so much better. There was a ton of build-up, and ultimately nothing really happened. The story was thin, the relationships between the two characters were not believable. The acting was shaky (so many obvious line flubs). The best thing that can be said about it was the design elements were great. The projection design and coordination and the sound design were the best parts of the production.
Thought provoking, an authentic sad mirror of our times. Marvellous play and extraordinary actors!!
