Utterly amazing production and performance. We came primarily to see Brendan Gleeson but the cast as a whole were excellent.
We really enjoyed the play, fantastic acting, really well balanced between poignancy and humour. The run time of 1 hour 45 minutes went by really fast. Not surprised the theatre was full!
Fantastic, funny, brilliant story & characters and the acting was outstanding. Loved it!!
Show was amazing. Remarkable talent onstage. Only reason for average rating is extremely rude doorman who enjoys patronising guests but otherwise. all other staff were great.
great cast and a wonderful evening's entertainment
Brilliant
It was difficult to understand the lead chracter . My seat was so bad I could hardly see anything. The raking was poor the positioning of seats from row to row was impossible and the tall guy in front couldn't keep⁴ his head or arms still. One of the worst experiences of theatre i have ever had.
What should have been a great play to watch with a cast of outstanding actors was totally ruined by poor sound quality. The acoustics in towards the back of the stalls was appalling. The actors kept dropping the volume, mumbled and spoke too fast. Very disappointing.
I’m gutted that we didn’t have seats in the stalls for this production as it was superb however sitting in the Royal Circle at the Harold Pinter theatre meant I couldn’t see a lot if it, I unfortunately had a big man in front of me and no amount of turning my head left or rights enabled me to see past his head.
Amazing text and accents. Beautiful stories, real emotions. A perfect theatrical night out.
A truly excellent and thought provoking drama. The cast were brilliant and truly brought the characters and story to life.
Loved thus play and I'm just sorry its run us ending. Brendon Gleeson was amazing and it felt like you were in the pub with them. Brought back a few family memories too.
The seating in the theatre (Dress Circle seats D2 and D3 were a disgrace and did not afford a clear view of the stage. The price of £134 per seat was extortionate bearing in mind the very poor seat location and the appalling view from the seats.
Awesome. Reminded me of the summer holidays I had in the west of Ireland in my Aunts pub.
This was a beautifully done piece of theatre that had our full attention throughout.
Well acted but very difficult to hear the too quick jokes in strong Irisah accents. No real story line. Too much bad language! Not enjoyable.
Great show
Sound was awful. Gleeson was clearly tired
Excellent play Excellent performances
