Confusing promo and disappointing experience as a Canadian customer
I was so eager to order from LOOPS and use my TYB coins! During Black Friday, the free-shipping message on TYB made it seem like there was a special no-minimum free shipping deal. Other members even mentioned their orders shipped for free.
As a Canadian customer, when I checked out, the shipping cost to Canada was way too high, and there was no clear sign that the “free shipping” wouldn’t actually apply. Customer service later explained that there wasn’t a validated no-minimum free shipping promotion for Canadian shoppers and that they couldn’t offer any shipping credit or code.
In the end, I didn’t place my order. It’s really frustrating to invest time and effort into earning points and then get excited about a promo that turns out not to be accessible or clearly explained for Canadian customers.
I hope LOOPS and TYB will make future promotions much clearer and more transparent, especially for shoppers outside the U.S.
