Wonderful products and wonderful customer service!

Absolutely love their mascara named Lash Paradise and the base coat as well. Great quality mascara and lasts a long time, well over 24 hours that is, if you fall asleep with your makeup on lol. Only thing I can complain about is although it's a good quality drugstore mascara, the formula dries up fairly quick but no worries because it last for a pretty good while and won't break your budget! Very affordable and I love how I can just go into practically any drugstore or Wal-Mart to purchase it when i run out, that is, when I do finally run out lol. Like i was saying even though the formula dries somewhat quickly, it still lasts a pretty good while and has a good shelf light regardless. So you don't have to worry about using it too quickly and not being able to enjoy it! No worries! If it does dry up too quickly you can call the manufacturer and the will replace it at no charge! I've only had one tube do this but they're were extremely sweet and seemed like they truly value their customers! I also enjoy their voluminous mascara as well. It lasts a little longer that lash paradise and is somewhat thicker than the other mascaras I've tried by them but it makes for easier coverage without have to apply a God awful amount of coats and it doesn't leave your eyelashes feeling hard and crispy or unmanageable. Voluminous has to be my favorite mascara to wear with daisies! Lash Paradise and it's base is more for natural lashes but also does well with falsies as well but not as good as Voluminous does! And I can't shout out enough about all their lipsticks! They come in a variety of shades that are mostly suitable for all women, no matter your ethnicity! The lipsticks are very versatile and have a wonderful smell! Not to mention they go on smoothly to boot! Can't enough of Loreal Paris! And lets not get me started on the different types of foundations and powders they have. They have my shade in almost every one! So glad to purchase from such a wonderful company who truly do care about their customers and making things right when you have a bad experience. The customer service employee truly had an impact on my decision to make further purchases! Cant shout that out enough! The way a company treats their customers truly speaks volumes to me! After all you don't want a rude employee handling customer's problems because the bad experience will make them not want to make any further purchases from the company! Overall they have many wonderful products that I love and enjoy using to this very day! Thanks Loreal Paris for your awesome items and having such well mannered and caring employees! It truly made a bad experience good! Thank you once again!

Really disappointed that no support is offered for defective product

I bought Loreal's Matte signature eyeliner on 27th Jan 2020 from Boots and used it on 31st Jan 2020 for the first time. I thought what a great product the brush glides easily and creates thin enough flicks, which I was looking for. Considering it's a small bottle for £8.99 I was hoping it was going to be worth the money.

It was not the case when I decided to use it for the second time today (1st Feb) and it was already showing signs of running out! I literally did one eye and dipped it back in all the way to get enough eyeliner on the brush and nothing was going on the brush. I thought it can't be, so I placed the brush back and shook the bottle which I could hear the little metal ball inside to stop it from drying up and still hardly any product was on the brush and half of it was still dry!

I can't believe you charge so much for a product that you can only use 1 time before it starts to show signs of running out! Not only that I did your chat and I can't even tell if I was talking to a robot or a human. I was first greeted with "thank you for choosing your favourite colour" whatever that meant, to then have to accept terms and conditions before I even spoke to 'someone'. I wasn't greeted with a name or anything and was told to take the eyeliner back to the retailer and get a refund and that feedback about the product will be passed on to production.

What good is that going to do for me in this instance?! Stupidly I threw away the receipt as I've never had to return any make up back and assumed I wouldn't this time either. I spoke to Boots and they said they can't do anything without a receipt as I could have bought the eyeliner from anywhere and I even informed the lady, it was the only item I bought from Boots with the exact price on my bank statement. Again they wouldn't do anything claiming that they don't know what I bought which was £8.99 and needed to see the receipt.

Even if I did take it back to store, what are Boots going to do about the defective product? All they can do is to give my money back, but it doesn't resolve the issue here. It is your product and you should offer to resolve the problem. Boot's will continue to sell this product and nothing will change. I bought it brand new and it didn't look like anyone had used it before I purchased it and it isn't sold sealed either, therefore it must of been defective from the point of production.

I have been using Loreal products for years, from hair products to make up and to even using a hair salon who specialises in Loreal colour. I'll think twice before spending my money on Loreal products again if this is the kind of aftercare you lack. I'm not asking for much, I'm asking for you to offer a replacement. If you want, I will even post back the defective one with a pre-paid postal package provided by you.

Never in my life have I used an eyeliner as expensive as £8.99 for 1.5 uses!

Ruined my hair and terrible customer service

I had a terrible experience with their hair dye. My hair is a natural light brown and was dyed the same colour. I used a box of their light brown product which turned my roots blonde and the rest of my hair an orange-brown. The resulting colour was so bad I had to immediately buy another box of colour that same day to rectify it. It would have been too embarrassing to go into work with the mess if left my hair.

When complaining to the company via Twitter they refused to take responsibility for the error blaming it somewhere else in the supply chain. The only thing they admitted was the wrong product was in the box, I certainly didn't need them to tell me that my hair was evidence of that. I got offered a £10 voucher in compensation which I refused. I have no intention of buying any L'Oreal products ever again.

L'Oreal TOO BIG for their boots!

L'Oreal seem to prove more and more how large they have become as a company and how that has led them to care less and less about their customers! I purchased 15ml Age Perfect Rosy eye cream. Not only did it fail to achieve any of the claims made by the manufacturer but it left a clumpy, cakey mess of pink all around my eye. It was used in accordance with normal eye cream application; a tiny amount gently massed into the eye area. I have used it for over a week now and I have to physically remove it before I can apply any make-up. It's a mess. When try to enquire on L'Oreal's on-line chat, the attendant clearly had a script and simply said all their products do not suit all people and advised me to EXFOLIATE 2-3 times a week the eye area! We all know NOT to exfoliate the eye area, ever! I will never use L'Oreal products again; the company seem not to care. A total waste of money.
