Stephen, the engineer that attended today did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He explained in detail what the job would entail to fix my machine and carried out the work with great expertise. My washing machine now works perfectly. He tested the machine prior to leaving and explained exactly what had been repaired. Would thoroughly recommend.

A thoroughly professional job from start to finish. I was contacted before the engineer arrived and given advice on how to prepare for the visit. Engineer was polite, professional and helpful as was the office when I phoned. I would not hestitate to recommend this company - definitely 5 stars!

I don't know how but...
Called out about a washing machine and have been quoted a price for parts that is higher than a new washing machine in the same model.

I'm not a diagnostic specialist, from what I have seen it was a seal issue, this is why I called you out, so saying that I didnt explain what was wrong with the washing machine in great detail is laughable. This is why you were called out in the first place. Saying that I should have known the fault myself is absolutely ridiculous. As I said, to your engineer, when I booked the job, the drum wasnt making any sounds, then when he arrived I showed him a video of the sounds it STARTED TO MAKE well after the day I booked that job. It's ridiculous that a repair service company expects the customers to know the diagnostics themselves.
Furthermore, I have in fact checked the rough prices of all the components needed and they were not even remotely close to the £425 I have been quoted.
Samsung spider arm costs £70 to £100, drum bearings cost £15, suspension springs another £15. Samsung shock absorber £25, door seal £60. The price of £425, even with call out charge is ridiculous.

I tried calling your company, being directed to voicemail a day before the call out took place.
I fail to see how you feel entitled to a DIAGNOSTIC call out charge if you expect your customers to diagnose issues for you.

Thank you for your review. We'd like to address the points raised.
When you booked you described the fault as a door seal issue. On inspection our engineer found the drum had collapsed and damaged the seal as a result, which is a significantly different fault requiring substantial internal components. We don't set parts prices and in some cases, particularly with major assemblies, repair costs can exceed the value of the appliance. That's a manufacturer pricing issue rather than anything on our end, and you were under no obligation to proceed with the repair.
On the parts prices you've referenced, the individual components you've listed are smaller parts within the larger assemblies your machine actually requires. Those parts alone would not repair a collapsed drum. As a manufacturer agent for your brand we're familiar with what these repairs involve.
Regarding the noise, we can only work with the information provided at booking. If the fault changed or developed further after you booked, updating us in advance would have helped the engineer prepare. That's not an expectation that you diagnose the fault yourself, just that you describe what you're experiencing as accurately as possible.
We're sorry the repair wasn't economical and we understand that's a frustrating outcome.

From start to finish they were extremely professional. Both engineers that visited were very polite and kept me informed of the whole process. Steven the engineer was very knowledgeable and friendly, he fixed my machine and cleaned up all the mess. I would highly recommend this company.

Go the extra mile!
Scott, our engineer, arrived on time and explained in detail, showing us the repair he was carrying out, a replacement fan oven heating element. He was friendly and even went the extra mile to show us the possible source of a problem on our dishwasher. He was friendly and professional to a fault.
