Can only say great things about Jack and his company. Work was completed on time and with excellent finish. Always prompt and polite.

Had really high hopes for this company who were initially very organised and responsive for getting us booked in for two bespoke internal doors to be made and fitted. Lead times quoted were a couple of months so not too bad in current climate. A week before fitting however we were told they were running slightly behind due to someone being off with covid. We didn’t have any contact after that for weeks. Tried phoning, emailing, texting etc with intermittent responses. Sometimes told doors were about to be made or had been made, sometimes told waiting for the glass. One week slippage turned into 5 months with barely any contact. Eventually Jack offered to refund us as he didn’t know when doors could be made (despite being told months earlier they’d already been made). Effectively wasted 6 months of our time with false promises when we could have ordered from someone else. Only positive is that refund was made promptly. Not sure if they’ve just taken on far too much work than able to cope with. Either way, I’d stay clear.

Unfinished job and are now ignoring all of our calls and messages. Do not trust this company. Jack has taken our money and not finished the job despite many calls and texts. He also removes any negative feedback off Facebook to make it seem they are better than they actually are.

We paid for under stair storage solutions with pictures of what we were looking for. There was lack of communication from Jack for starters when doing the job. He made decisions on the drawers without telling us (and by then it was too late for us to change). When it came to finishing the job they had just finished painting it and therefore we could not check it was all working as expected. Jack asked for payment despite this. The next day we found that the drawers did not align, one of them was really stiff to pull out and push back in. We called Jack who said he would come and look at it. Which he did (over a week later)… he fiddled with it and said he had to come back again. At this point he left and stopped accepting any of our calls and texts.
If you do decide to go with Loughborough joinery company all I would say is do NOT pay them until you have personally checked their work even if you have to wait for paint to dry.
The lack of honesty from Jack is why I would never choose this company again. Please don’t be fooled by their fancy pictures on website and social media pages!

I contacted Loughborough joinery to design and create a custom made sideboard for me. They were very polite and from start to finish the communication was excellent and they always listened to my ideas and what I wanted. As a result the finished piece is outstanding and I would whole heartedly recommended them to anyone.
