Little update: the refund is not going through.
Total thieves and scam. £44.95 that I guess I will never see again. Waiting for PayPal, a real nightmare.
I am afraid I will have to confirm others reviews. I placed an order on the 25th of December and have been told on the 28th that my order would be shipped the following week.
On the 2nd of January, no updates so contacted the shop via Instagram. Got a refund with no explanation.
I am afraid this shop is not reliable, at least online...cannot judge the physical shop.
I was initially very concerned regarding ordering from reviewing the previous posts, but i had little choice as the items i waned was only available on 2 web sites and this one was considerably cheaper.
The experience I have had has been exceptional, I would definitely order from this site in the future.
the email correspondence with Ella was prompt and efficient.
they did their best to ensure I had the delivery before Christmas, coming from UK to Australia, tracking provided, which occurred as planned and the items was very well packaged, all received as ordered and no breakages.
the most delayed part of the journey was item waiting to be loaded at the airport in London
Like others who have posted here, I never received my order. They replied to my emails, saying they had sent the order out again by Royal Mail, but again, no order was received. The company have not responded to recent emails and I have had to make a claim on my credit card company for a refund.
I ordered the goods from another company on Sunday and it has arrived today!
I shall not use Louis Potts again.
Avoid - Goods ordered 31st October still not received at 21st November. Contacted by mail and phone and despite receiving an assurance that it had been sent by Royal Mail and they'd investigate no further response and cannot get anyone on the phone.
I ordered a plate on 23rd august. I received an email on 4th sept saying the item was ready and would be posted out the next day. It’s now October and still not been delivered. I contacted them and they said they will look into this and get back to me but they haven’t. I sent an email again and have had no response whatsoever
What a lovely company. Apart from the breakfast cups & saucers I ordered (excellent price, saving over £25 compared to buying it from the exclusive company's website) the customer service is one of the best I've encountered. I shop exclusively online (we're miles from any decent shops) so clothes, presents etc are bought 'unseen', most companies are excellent, some poor. Thank you Ella, what a wonderful friendly service. I will definitely be a returning customer!
This is my second purchase from Louis Potts. It arrived after 6 working days and was well within the time that was suggested. It was well packaged. There is a very good website for this small business and I would like to think that we could support it.
I ordered 2 ink prints 2-22-22. Have not received them yet. I emailed the company a couple of weeks ago. No answer. I have just sent another email so we shall see. I will update my review when someone acknowledges my request.

The service I have received from this lovely shop has been outstanding. I cannot thank Ella enough for her constant emails answering every question quickly and keeping up to date with the progress of my order. I have been trying to source items that have been difficult to find and Ella has kept me updated and let me know as soon as they were back in stock. Items were well packaged to avoid breakage and arrived in good time. Thank you Ella and team. I will definitely shop here again.

The other item was received professionally and safely packaged. It did come a little late but this was due to Covid delivery matters which was totally out of their hands.

I ordered some crockery for my wife's birthday, 17 days beforehand. The website said I would get it within 10 working days, so I thought I was leaving it a little late (11 full working days) but it should be OK. The birthday came and went with no sign of the goods, despite a couple of chasing emails from me. They finally arrived 10 days after the birthday. I wasn't impressed, but whose fault was it really - mine, the shop or the manufacturer?
My wife was pleased with the crockery, but after thinking about it she decided she'd prefer a different item from the same range. I emailed Ella and she said they had 9 of the 10 items in stock, and she would order the last one and send it on. There was theoretically a little extra to pay, but she waived it to make up for the trouble we'd had. We took back the goods and exchanged them, and sure enough the last item arrived in the post a little later in good condition.
The moral of the story is: if they don't have things in stock, then they will have to wait for them, and so will you. But if you want to deal with a proper small business and deal with thoroughly pleasant people, rather than paying for Jeff Bezos to go into space, I strongly recommend Louis Potts.
Excellent all round service. Purchased several items as a gift which were lovely. There was a hiccup over initially ordering (my fault) but was soon sorted with help from Ella. Items arrived, well packaged.

When ordering I was aware that due to Covid there may be a delay in shipping the product (as every other small business in the land is encountering at this time). Unfortunately, the product was no longer available, however the owners contacted me personally and sent me a better version of the original product, at no extra cost to me.
It was extremely refreshing to receive such personal, excellent customer service. I would highly recommend #louispotts and will definitely support this wonderful family business in the future.
Terrible! I ordered a present for my mum 12 days ago. There was nothing on the website to state how long deliveries would take, but there was no statement stating that deliveries were taking significantly longer.
Despite messaging and asking when were they being dispatched and the two lies that came back from customer service about having sent the item when they havent, the items have still not arrived. No tracking number has been provided either.
If you cannot offer a service within a reasonable timescale then close your online shop. My mum is now without the one present that she asked for.
Very disappointed. Paypal case opened.
