Super helpful and knowledgeable,

We were notified throughout the process of delivery date and arrival times and everything went well on the day. Pete and Nigel were super competent and professional, and removed our old furniture and all packaging efficiently and without fuss. It was a sweltering day (35°!) but they were both friendly and good humoured. An excellent experience.

Chloe in the bed department was absolutely fantastic. She was very knowledgeable indeed, took lots of time with us and communicated very well after the initial meeting.

Excellent furniture range and quality as well as exceptional customer service. Particular thanks to Alistair Framp for his sound advice throughout even extending to a home visit to ensure that our new sofa would be colour matched to our other furnishings.

This wasn’t our first purchase in Lucas furniture so one of the reasons we returned was due to the great customer service, Chloe was amazing not pushy and gave us lots of options of mattresses that fit our budget. She was available and easy to find as well when we’d made the decision on frame and mattress, which I really like not disappearing and having to explain everything again to someone else! They also keep you updated regularly so you’re not left wondering when your bed will arrive. Well absolutely be returning when we need to make another big home purchase ☺️ thankyou!

Great store with a fantastic wide choice. Was looked after by Marie Raeburn. She was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable but not too pushy! Would totally recommend and will definitely be back for any future purchases

Marie was extremely helpful when we were trying to find the correct mattress to replace our old tired model. Marie explained every detail of all the products we viewed. Marie is a wonderful sales assistant, she gives excellent information and she gives you time to ponder and experience . We have bought a Hypnos bed from her before and this time we were looking to replace another Hypnos mattress after 10 years. We came to look at electric beds and Chloe spend a long time patiently assisting us! There was no pressure to buy on the day, and Chloe was very informative answering all of our questions. Now just waiting for the bed to be delivered next week.

Outstanding service from Marie Raeburn. Excellent service from other staff who understand how we British like to shop. They let us know they were nearby and gave us the space we needed to peruse and discuss the excellent stock of large and small furniture, soft furnishings and artwork pieces.

Dog friendly! That’s enough on it’s own for us to return. We didn’t know this and left our dog at home but next time will come sooner as will bring our dog.

Huge showroom. Huge choice. Largest bed and mattress display seen in a wide vicinity. We travelled from MK. Upgraded some bedrooms with new headboards. Amazing choice of styles, fabrics and colours. Free delivery AND installation! Wow! This is customer service at it’s best.

After taking our time in the warehouse sale and lower showroom floor, we took a break in their excellent cafe and then proceeded to the upper floor.

Strongly recommend a visit, allow plenty of time.

The sales representative Alistair took his time and showed both of us his considerable knowledge of the types of furniture that we wanted.Funnily enough the first units that we tried were the ones we eventually purchased.
Alistair was extremely patient with us and we felt confident of the purchases that we made.

On arrival Marie came to intruduce herself . Marie was very helpful, knowledgeable very kind and nothing was too much trouble. Double checked everything before paid deposit and explained next steps very clearly. Would definitely return.

We have over the past 4 years, used Lucas for all our furniture needs, as the store is well stocked, great selection, high quality products and knowledgeable / helpful staff. Everytime we have brought goods, we have had no issues and when buying large items had excellent customer service from within the store (sales team)
, the admin for the delivery etc, and the delivery/ installation teams. Not once have we been disappointed. Recently we had need to shop on a Monday night, and were was surprised Lucas had late opening until 8pm, so as always our first choice we came down, we did not arrive well past 7pm, and expected it might mean a rushed decision, but not at all. Whilst we knew what we wanted (item & brand) we did not have the details as we wanted something similar to a previous purchase made in the store 2 years ago. We were assisted by Jim in the bed section, and whilst time was tight, we did not feel rushed or pressured in to a quick decision. He did everything we asked, and more. His friendly personality had no worn out, even though close to closing, so Thank you Jim ( and your colleagues) we appreciate the service and standards you provide. We will always recommend you, and will remain loyal customers 😊

Having passed this store many times on the way to Aylesbury, we stopped today to look around for ideas. The staff did not pounce on us as we entered the store but did politely approach after a few moments to let us know they were available, if we had any questions.
We spent 5 hours looking around, due to the size of this store and the volume of choice.
We fell in love with a beautiful ash table by Ercol and soon found a set of Bentley dining chairs to compliment the beautiful table. Lucas sales assistant James Forsyth offered us further information about the Ercol company, as he passed us by, stopping to assist, as my husband and I were mid-way through demonstrating how easy it is to extend this Highmoor table. James left us to contemplate but returned with a Bentley chair to place next to the table and it wasn't long before we called James back to assist us in the purchase of said table and a set of six Bentley chairs. Thank you James for your charming patter, extensive product knowledge......and a lovely cup of tea.
