Absolute trash. They have 0 customer service, 0 technical knowledge, 0 ability to understand simple requests. My number port-in was rejected countless times due to their failure to fill out the reques... See more

Cant make or receive calls
Cant make or receive calls, they have no idea what the problem is. I'm sitting here stressed out of my mind trying to find a job, and turns out my phone isn't even working. Lucky, you absolutely suck. Bottom feeders.
I gave lucky a star
I gave lucky a star, actually I wish I could give them ZERO. Horrible service, intermittent disconnection, callers can't reach me, bad customer service. When complained, the line dropped while on the call. Changed the phone, moved to a new city, changed location and still having same disconnection problem.
Quality product
"I recently purchased a new mobile phone from lucky and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The sleek design, impressive camera quality, and seamless performance have gonr above and beyond my expectations. The battery life is among the best , providing me with long-lasting usage throughout the day. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making the overall experience enjoyable. Additionally, the customer service provided by the manufacturer has been outstanding, ensuring that any questions or concerns are promptly addressed. I recommend this mobile phone to anyone looking for a premium device with top-notch features and reliable.
Five years ago if you were to ask me if…
Five years ago if you were to ask me if the if you would be treated differently because of low income/bad or no credit I would have said not in this country. Lucky is perfect example of exactly that. I have my private Lucky account and my work phone which is Bell. So theoretically it’s the same network. But in my living room in London i will have slow to no service on my (un)lucky account and crystal clear high speed on my bell phone. When I call and complain and all the planets align, i can actually talk to someone they immediately tell me it’s my phone. When I explain to them I have two phones my call is usually dropped lol. Everything about lucky is an F you to its customers. From taking money out of my account early to having the most under performing app on the planet. I was told if I want better service then switch to bell. The only thing lucky about lucky mobile is if you can switch to Telus.
Would not recommend
Would not recommend. They took money off of my credit card 1 year after we canceled it
Lucky is a pathetic service
Lucky is a pathetic service. One point not made abundantly clear is that they do not allow receiving any SMS text outside of Canada.
This is a disaster.
All Canadian credit cards send a code to cell phones, for ID verification. Not receiving SMS messages means that your credit cards are useless. Purchasing airline tickets, booking hotels, renting cars, all impossible because of this ID verification.
I am now stuck in Turkey, both my credit cards non functional
This means that any users of Lucky cannot use their credit cards anywhere outside Canada, including the US !!!!!!!!
When I contacted Lucky customer service, they suggest I get another phone number !!!
Thank you Lucky!!!!
I called the customer service to close…
I called the customer service to close down my phone account, coz I got a new service from Freedom. Later after a week they charge me. I called them back and they saying they only closed the online account not the service. I mean what’s the point of closing down account. Ask for refund. They don’t do refund. Worst service. Not recommending this at all
Overcharged and poor service no refunds…
Overcharged and poor service no refunds ... To say this company has horrible customer service would be an understatement... their service is horrible. Their follow through with commitments and promises are zero... they do not refund when they make mistakes on billing... I would never ever ever utilized lucky ever again I would use a landline first.
The guys at the offshore call centre…
The guys at the offshore call centre are a model of politeness - absolutely wonderful. The problem is getting through to them. At my age I can hardly stab at endless miniature pictures of hydrants and crosswalks on a tiny phone screen in order to actually get someone to call me back. So offshore guys take all the credit, but the powerful people at Unlucky have made it as hard as possible to actually get help from a human. And the so-called online bot is no more intelligent than my kitchen garbage can, and certainly much less useful.
Very expensive and hidden fees
Very expensive and hidden fees
It is less than 2 months I am with Lucky mobile and not happy.
There are hidden fees that nowhere shown and declared like sending video messages.
They withdraw more than monthly payment and call it balance (non-refundable).
No invoice and payment history is completely different from withdraw.
For me they are finished but I write this review for others.

Lucky Mobile is the best prepaid…
Lucky Mobile is the best prepaid provider in Canada got set up at Staples awesome network service great customer service I do recommend Lucky Mobile if your looking for a prepaid provider with low prices and great data plans
HOW UNLUCKY... (PAIN, PAIN, GO AWAY)
Experience so far? Two years in...
A uniquely terrible customer service experience. No end in sight to finally resolving my predicament of a non-working telephone number, with unsupervised and/or rude customer service agents who have among other things hung up or spoken out of line during calls while trying to get my phone number working again... 10s of hours and multiple/repeated attempts later, with a string of support tickets/requests and speaking to every department/agent under the sun (including accidentally being transferred over to the parent company Bell), I have still not been able to get my phone number working again... A company riddled with ineffective bureaucracy/waits and a joyless experience I never knew could be so terrible... I swear this is not the company for anyone (I much prefer my previous provider, Public Mobile!)...
Resolution:
Canceling my "service" (which has been me technically just paying them for a non-working line for two years) and losing the cell phone number I wanted to keep in the process since it can't be switched back/moved over... Two years in without a working number, since I don't have any LUCK when it comes with this company, I am giving up on them completely.
Update:
Even the process of cancelling with them is already *painful* even though it has only just begun... Yep, here we go again.
STOP
STOP. Don’t even consider Lucky. Tried to set up an account with e-sim. After 2 tries and speaking with a rude customer service agent that had kids screaming in the background; the account was set up but the e-sim would not activate. Tried all the troubleshooting and community forum suggestions and none of them worked. I set up another call and was transferred to a dept. that was closed and the lined dropped. Had to set up another phone call as they don’t provide a number to call on the website and the chat was useless. This person did not provide any solutions. I told them I wanted to cancel the plan as I was within the legal time period and I was told this was not possible as the phone was already activated even though it doesn’t work. I was then transferred to another person and they created a “ticket” and told me someone would get back to me within 24-72 hours. Another hour of my life wasted and a non working phone. I was trying to get away from the problems of my previous provider, but this is worse.
$100 a month for a 50GB plan with JUNK for data
The first month, the data line was bad, and I logged in andtold them. Next morning, a Lucky rep phoned me to say they had a damaged "tower" nearby and were working to fix it, the line would get better. I was rather surprised, if not impressed. So I hung in there, and in a few days, the line was great. I then ran out of data as was busy that month, and had to buy a slew of costly service passes at only 200MB apiece. That's when the line went bad and stayed bad. Lucky gives you a "free" line if you run out of paid data before your billing period ends. It's super-slow, just enough to get you logged in to top up or buy a service pass. The PAID data on the service passes was just about as bad as the free data. I complained repeatedly, it did no good. Finally, the new billing period arrived, my $100 plus tax disappeared via the auto-topup, and the line continued to SUCK. I have repeatedly contacted support to beg for help. It either never works, or of it seems to work, it doesn't last long, so the temporary improvement could have just been a coincidence.
If Lucky was a real company, they'd have offered me compensation for the lousy service passes (about 2 dozen of them in a row), a bonus or something, and then really improved the line. But, no. Not a chance. Just suck the money again and keep the bad line.
I had Fizz for a couple of years, which is bluddy awful, I will not have Lucky for long, I've already ordered two new SIM cards from a competitor and I'll be gone at the end of this month. That will be three months, and I'm outa here.
Bell sucks
Bell purposefully gives you terrible service on here…dropped/missed calls..crap internet ..does not matter which phone you have…BUT the spam text messages they send you to upgrade to BELL always get through..Imagine that.
