I bought the Everywhere Backpack (Black) from Lululemon in April 2024 and within two months the top strap started fraying. By August, it was already partially detached. I only carried a MacBook Air and a few daily items to and from my office—nothing heavy or rough.
I continued using the bag carefully, hoping it wouldn’t get worse. I stopped using a bag a bit because I was not working. Then in April 2025, the strap completely tore off, making the bag unusable.
I contacted Lululemon with photos clearly showing the issue started just two months after purchase. Their response? They claimed it was “wear and tear” and that I was outside the return window—despite photo evidence with dates and a clear timeline showing the damage began well within the one-year Quality Promise. It feels like they’re using the policy as a shield rather than standing by it in good faith. The evidence was solid, and they just didn’t want to take responsibility.
For a company that positions itself as a premium brand, this was incredibly disappointing. The backpack cost nearly $80 and didn’t even last a few months under light use. I expected better quality—and definitely better customer support.
Buyers beware: not everything Lululemon makes is built to last, and they may not stand behind their products even when they clearly fail early.

Lululemon fails to complete the whole package. There are better choices out there. I’m switching to kuhl. Veho never seems to get the delivery right. It’s either undeliverable (lost) or delivered to the wrong unit in my 10 building complex.
AVOID. Scam dodgy company
Ordered online via the UK website. They received my return and I never received a refund. I had to chase them for weeks to get a refund. When they finally refunded me it was through a link via live chat. Finally received my refund but it was in USD not GBP like I had paid in, so I ended up receiving LESS than I had originally paid. Absolute scammers. Still trying to get my full refund. AVOID this dodgy company at all costs!!!

I returned my order back in april and it said it’s been delivered and they still did not refund me for my order that i sent back which is poor they told me to contact my payment provider but they couldn’t do anything about it and told me to go back to the merchant. Lululemon has the proof that it was delivered but still decided not to refund me back my money

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the unacceptable and discriminatory treatment I experienced at your Macquarie Centre store on 17 June 2025, at approximately 3:05 PM. The item was unsuitable due to its lengthiness (even in size XS). As this was an online purchase where physical fitting isn’t possible, I had relied on your size guide.On the 17 June around 3pm I am visiting LULU Lemon Macquarie centre store request a refund, I encountered unprofessional and discriminatory behaviour from the store manager.
The manager—a woman approximately 1.6 meters tall with short, curly hair and dark skin—refused my refund request in a dismissive manner and declined to provide her name. Her attitude escalated the situation unnecessarily, leaving me feeling humiliated and distressed. What particularly alarmed me was the inconsistency in policy application.
When I calmly requested a fair resolution, the manager became hostile, ordering me to "GET OUT" of the store three times and threatening to call security. Shortly afterward, a security officer arrived and asserted that the manager had the right to remove or block anyone from the store because "this is her store," likening it to asking a guest to leave a home. This explanation further compounded my humiliation. The manager could have explored alternative solutions, such as assisting me in finding another suitable item. Instead, her behaviour was dismissive, unprofessional, and entirely devoid of empathy, going so far as to order me to "GET OUT" of the store. At no point did I raise my voice or display anger toward her, making her response both unjustified and deeply disappointing.
This store manager’s conduct has not only failed to add value to your company but has actively damaged your brand. Her actions suggest a misuse of her limited authority, driven by hostility and an apparent inclination to bully customers she perceives as easy targets. This behaviour reflects poorly on your company’s values and commitment to fair treatment and inclusivity.

I bought a pair of align pants ib 2023 and after 3-times use, the stitching unravelled. I contacted customer service and Lululemon had nothing to offer. It was completely a waste of time to send them emails and attached pictures. Now, I have been a patron and love Lululemon for 20 -years. In fact, I own many things that are over 10-years old and they are still in good condition. I wear them regularly for exercising as they are designed for that purpose. I expect more from Lululemon considering it's Lululemon and they are not cheap.
Most customer un-friendly return process I have ever experienced
Tried to make a return as the stitches came undone in the sleve. It has now been +2 months and still not done. Every time you contact them you have to wait about 5 working days for reply. I can't go to the shop where I made the purchase to return it they tell me. Further I can only get a gift certificate and not a refund.

Poor quality leggings
The leggings I purchased began showing wear after just three months, with the hem deteriorating and eventually developing a hole. I reached out to customer service, but the experience was extremely disappointing as no refund was provided despite the company’s advertised ‘quality promise’. So very disappointing. I ordered 2 leggings which didn’t last a year before they started unraveling at the seem. The customer service, after me harassing them, finally agreed to take them back and reimburse me. I’ve send back the leggings over a month ago, and haven’t heard from them. Even after emailing them about it.
Honestly, if you are looking for the comfort of Lululemon leggings, with the same quality, H&M has a collection called move which cost 25 euros.
Extremely disappointing experience – empty package and no help
I ordered directly from Lululemon and received an empty package — the items I paid for were simply not there. I contacted customer service, expecting help, but was told that since the parcel had a certain weight when it left the warehouse, they wouldn’t take any further action.
Despite explaining that I received nothing and was home at the time of delivery, I was dismissed and told that future orders would be “at my own risk.” I was also advised to file a police report, as if the issue wasn’t their responsibility anymore.
As a customer, I believe I have the right to receive the products I paid for. Lululemon’s handling of this situation was deeply disappointing and not at all what I expected from a premium brand.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at the Lululemon store in Aventura Mall, Miami. Yesterday, I purchased a pair of sandals that, after taking them home, I realized I did not like and decided to return. Today, I went back to the store with the receipt, although I no longer had the original tag. I fully understand that store policy may require the tag for returns, and I am willing to respect the rules. However, what I found completely unacceptable was the way I was treated by the employee who assisted me.
From the beginning, her attitude was rude, curt, and unprofessional. On three occasions, she told me she would “make an exception this time,” but did so in a harsh and dismissive tone. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me. I then asked to speak with the manager, and another employee stated that she was the manager—which is even more concerning given her conduct.
I am a cancer patient and recently completed chemotherapy. While I understand that this is not the store’s responsibility, kindness, empathy, and basic courtesy are essential values in any customer-facing role. The experience was so emotionally upsetting that I left the store in tears.
I have been a loyal Lululemon customer for many years and have always appreciated the quality of the products and the service. Unfortunately, this is the first time I’ve felt so disrespected in one of your stores.
Since the employee refused to give me her name, I am attaching the receipt, which I hope can help identify her through the employee number, time, or other transaction details. I sincerely hope Lululemon takes the necessary steps to ensure that the high standard of professionalism and respect the brand is known for continues to be upheld. One of the worst customer service experiences I had so far in my life. This plus the unavailability of most colors and sizes makes it a company I won't go back to.

Very disappointed with this company! My second pair of Align pants barely lasted a year and they've just changed their policy so they don't offer a replacement nor do they re-stitch the pants. Only $10 credit to trade an 'old' pair. Why are these worth $100?? They've started making the pants much cheaper, very poor quality stitching...yet their prices are still way too high for the quality. Very much DONE with this company!
