Excellent & rapid response to my problem with my home security system. They quoted a reasonable price and stuck to it Jr.

Been using them for our alarm services since 2019. No issues until now. We had a service Monday and the door sensor fell off today, literally snapped off. No one touches the door sensor. It's at the top of the door so, no need to touch it. So in all the years we've had it It's never just "fell" (snapped off). So, why is it their guy Shane came out a few days ago and now this?

And when I complain that I believe it is down to his service, they send him back out to assess his damage (free of charge 🤣, thanks?). You'd think they'd send someone else out. Now they are saying we'd need a new door sensor.

Told us it looks like it's been whacked.. how?? It's out of reach.. the top corner of the sensor furthest from door has snapped clean off. How??

The first response I got to it being broken was "oh it will be ££ for a new one"..

Seems like it was broken to make more money..
It was fine before he touched it.

Won't recommend.

I had my Domestic intruder alarm installed today by Lynx Fire and Security (Kettering). The service has been excellent from my initial request for quotation, through to the installation. The detailed quotation and specification was very professional and clearly in a different league to other accredited installers I received quotes from. Lynx addressed all my questions very promptly and have great in office team. The installation engineer was excellent and completed all work to a very high standard cleaning up as he installed components around the house, and was very considerate with me working from home. Thank you to the entire Lynx team for the install and service. I would definitely recommend Lynx Security to others looking for a great NSI Gold accredited intruder alarm company.

Make sure you don’t sign for a compulsory 3 year maintenance costing you up to £270 for nothing, I felt that they did not make things clear enough to realise that you have to have a maintenance carried out every year for 3 year, and also realised that the aim is to take your money rather that caring about the alarm system. It should be made clear before their office starts bombarding you with emails and letters asking for maintenance payment asap.
For me I will never ever use them or recommend lynxsecurity.com.
