In receivership?

Lyon lighting is behaving like a company about to go into receivership. They don't answer email, web chat or telephone calls, and occasionally you get a diverted call to someone who claims to be a receptionist and promises to pass on a message.

These are classic signs that they are in financial trouble, and tied in with the other recent comments on here indicate that there is something wrong.

Disappointed

Ordered off line and turned out item wasn't in stock but instead of letting me know they lied to me on 4 different occasions over a 3 week period about the items being dispatched when in actual fact they weren't , I ended up ringing the office fuming and demanded a refund which I got.. stay away they are liars .. check the Facebook page for honest reviews.. I wish I did before ordering !

Do not recommend

I placed an order for a light on the 7th of sep and the charge was shown on my bank statement the day after however I did not receive any order confirmation from the seller.
About a week later I contacted Lyon Lighting using an online dialogue window and was told that they do have my order and that the confirmation would be sent later that day. Unfortunately I still had nothing in my mailbox so a couple of days later I called them and was reassured that the order was in process and they would reattempt to email me the confirmation. I finally received the order confirmation but looked like I was in for a wait to get my light.
The light finally arrived on the 26th of Sep. By then I already ordered and received a different light for my kids bedroom and it was up looking great but I felt uneasy about cancelling my order with Lyon Lighting as I wasn't sure I would get a refund. Having read all the reviews I was afraid I would have to chase it and I just do not have time for that.
In all fairness a couple of days before the order arrived they did email me a couple of times apologising for the delay and informing me of the upcoming delivery however I would certainly not recommend the seller unless you are happy to stare at a naked lightbulb for at least two weeks.

Worst customer service ever and still no lights !

Despite constant calls, conversations, emails etc I have not got my lights 6 weeks on - I ha be been promised compensation, good will gestures - an deceived none of them and STILL no lights despite 4 promised delivery dates - and still no refund or communication - would avoid like the plague

Still waiting for order! - 6 weeks late

I put an order on Lyon for a standard unit, I have chased and chased but I still have no product (which isn't great) - however, the worst part is that NO ONE has even got back in touch with me and they now don't answer their calls!

Worst Lighting Company I have ever dealt with!!!!!!! Would give them 0 Stars if I could

They took my money quickly but after that nothing!

Is this company still trading?

After placing my order I have not been able to speak to anyone on the stated phone number (outsourced answering service who will take messages that are then ignored by Lyon Lighting). To start with I was repeatedly told via email that the order was delayed every time I chased, now they wont even respond to emails. This is similar to many others on the reviews. Refund now sought from credit card company.

Shocking company!

Absolute shambles of a company - AVOID!!!!

No goods or refund - nobody to speak to! By far the worst customer service i have ever received. This company needs shutting down!

Absolutely appalling

I still haven't received my product which was due at the beginning of September, more than 6 weeks ago! They are refusing to refund me even though I have asked 2 separate time. They keep promising to send the product along with complimentary bulbs...what a scam. I have reported them to trading standards. Terrible company.

Beyond Disappointed, Let Down and Angry

I urge you don't waste your time. Look at other similar reviews. Terrible company. Order N1: waited for a week only to receive half of it. 2 Weeks down the line several phone calls and finally got a refund. Order N2 worth over £650, made over the phone under the agreement that it needs be delivered on Wednesday or not at all. After I was assured that it will be I called on Wednesday to check the status just to be told "Is it ok if it comes tomorrow?" Nearly 15 phone calls later and 2 and a half weeks later finally got my refund. Trust me and do not waste your time.

Lamp not received

`We ordered a lamp from this company a month ago and we are still waiting for it. We have been repeatedly given a different delivery date that has never materialised. I have therefore asked to cancel our order and get a refund, to which they have refused to reply. Impossible to talk to them by phone as they do not answer it.
In summary, no lamp, no refund = con/theft

Won't be buying from them again

Garbage. Took an age to come. I was told by them that it was 2 screws per pack, so needing 4 screws I ordered 2 items... 2 screws turned up. Also expensive for thr screws but i couldn't find any others to match what I needed them to.

Slow and unreliable delivery

I ordered the item last month but because of the warehouse thing, my order was cancelled as it took too long to be dispatched.

The customer service team asked me to reorder and they said they would send me promptly. I ordered my item on 04 Oct and hasnt received it. And it is impossible to track my item! Now I am feeling like it is almost the same as before! I do doubt I will finally get my item from the company.

I never got my lights or my refund.

After one month of being messed around I asked for my money back but I have still not received it. Do not buy anything from these wasters! Totally disorganised and dishonest.

Absolute joke

After over a month of being fobbed off and told that the items would be being sent the next working day I have finally come to realise that this company is having me on. When trying to contact for a refund I have had nothing but dead calls and a voicemail service so have had to open a dispute with PayPal! Any 5 star reviews on here are obviously written by workers as they don't even merit the 1. I had an email a month ago saying the items had been posted only to be told over the phone they were actually out of stock and it would be the following week, still no joy, repeat the process. It seems I am not the only one to have had this experience! Avoid at all costs.
