Love your product especially Strawberry jam but what is going on with the fact you need to be a body builder to open the jars recently!!
Have 3 jams being held hostage by their lids…..

Poor quality and emails ignored

As other reviewers have said, recent purchases (Bramble) were just runny syrup. I don't write negative reviews without giving a business the chance to resolve an issue, but no response to emails. So lowest score for product quality and, in particular, lack of customer care.

Live worms in jam bottle, twice

I have twice found tiny live worms in my Mackay jams. Once in orange marmalade and then again in a brand new bottle of seedless blackberry jam.
They may be harmless but I found this disgusting and will obviously never buy Mackays jam again.

Mackays Runny Jam

I have bought four six-packs of Mackays jam recently. The first three were very good. The jam in the latest pack is very watery/runny. I emailed Mackay to tell them this and because I bought it from Amazon, they have no interest at all. poor show from them about their product.

Fantastic jams and marmalades

This might seem like a biased review but i used to work for this company and in all honesty i can say is they are great and i would recommend the jams and marmalades to others to try out and also they do chutneys and relishes and they are yummy too.
As i have moved from Scotland i am still fortunate to get the Mackays products where i live as they supply Tesco and Morrisons so i can still get there lovely jams and marmalades.
So give them a go you wont be disappointed.
