Double payment - several letters ; no response !
I have been using MacPaw for many years.
Last year I was billed on 12 January and 27 october for the same program !
Now a new bill for 12. January.
Several letter to Paddle about this issue but no answer whatsoever !
When I try to cancel my subscription I got told to "calm down" !
This kind of customer "care" is not acceptable !

I sent an email due to having issues getting into my account. I received a email quickly and when I didn’t follow up after a couple of days, I was sent another email to see if my issue has been resolved.

I love the product and the company!
I've had CleanMyMac for a few years now, and it is flawless! It knows how to do what I don't to keep my computer running happily. I don't have to worry about a thing. For some reason, this year, when the subscription renewed, I couldn't get it to run. A quick note to Support and a fast response, but still, no go. It only took about 20 minutes total, and it's back online and running fine. Super Customer Support, and a great product!

Being a long-time customer of MacPaw with both CleanMyMac and their Setapp Subscription Service - I'm amazed at just HOW BAD their products have gotten and where support has even gone…
MacPaw makes quite a few products but none of them seem to really do what they're intended to. When a feature is introduced in one of their products, you really can't expect it to work. Reaching out to support will result in a gigantic waste of time with either their AI assistant or humans that are actually LESS helpful. Support reps generally seem to have no clue about what the latest release of their software includes, and when you remind them that it's a feature they advertise - they start gaslighting you.
Now assuming you get through to one of them and they realize that MAYBE this is a support issue that needs addressing - they'll have you run their famous "Support Tool" which collects "logs" but ends up collecting personal photos and documents from your desktop and documents folders, zips them up, and asks you to send them to MacPaw. It's literally the definition of MALWARE and now I know why people immediately turn their noses up at MacPaw and CleanMyMac.
Sadly this company seems to have lost their scruples and just wants to push as much AI Slop as they can onto the market to somehow justify their raising subscription fees. The problem is: nobody really wants to pay a subscription to a company that keeps removing software from the catalog.

Double Billed - can't get refund!
I have been using McPaw for years on my Mac with no problem. Suddenly I was billed for separate yearly subscriptions in September and October. I contacted them and they keep sending emails in response saying "they haven't had a response from me" on this issue. Totally false. Each inquiry I send takes about a month to get the same response from them, saying the exact same thing. This company used to be fantastic. I just want my refund for the second subscription.

On contacting customer support re a problem the response was extremely quick and a some suggestion to try to correct the issue which I followed and within minuets the issue was corrected.
