I brought the mafiabikes Pablo Park and within a couple of rides the bikes sprocket and hub came loose I tried Titan it and and it kept coming loose it is not worth it.

Shocking lack of basic customer service

Wow! What terrible customer service. I am totally speechless by the lack of support this company have shown. After trying to purchase a bike online was left with error messages so tried to cancel the order that was showing as ‘pending’ and reorder that which resulted with 2 orders ‘pending’ when I contacted them and asked if someone could call me to discuss and was told under current climate they are all working remotely. The virus has not attacked phone lines so this also confused me???
Determined to resolve and order this bike for my son who has his heart set on a ‘mafia’ bike I continued to try and resolve thru email. Seriously like getting blood from a stone !!!
19 emails later over 2 days they have finally given me a stockist that we can deal with !!!
This could of been resolved so much quicker with a 5 minute conversation! As a result I’ll be talking my son and any of his friends with the desire to purchase one of these bikes.

Amazing bikes, amazing service

I got a mafiabikes kush 2 for Christmas 3 years ago only had to change the tyres once and it's been a good bike. No problems and it's only just started to rust.

I would recommend mafiabikes as a go to company for beginner complete bikes and they are strong and lightweight.

The mafia Mudusa we bought is awful we had this made up by bike specialist crucial bmx, the pedal crank has fallen off, constant punctures Where the tyres are so thin, chain keeps slipping of because the chain cranks are not in-line, chain breaking and seat flying off ! We have only had this bike since May 2020 and never ever have I had problems like this with a bike. Also it’s started to rust ! Disgusting over priced bike ! I will be going to trading standards as the bike is not fit for purpose. DO NOT BUY THE BIKE IS A DEATH TRAP.

After Mafia reply below I have a receipt that I purchased this bike on the 15th May 2020.

I purchased this bike brand new from crucial bmx and paid crucial bmx to build the bike.

Buy a mafia bike 🔥

This bike is awesome I got a 26” mafia bomma and haven’t had any issues with it yea when you revive the bike you have to assemble it unless you take it to a bike shop if you don’t assemble the bike properly ofc there’s going to be problems with it so if you don’t know how to assemble it take it to a damn bike shop that’s what they are for this bike is the best bike I’ve had I don’t regret buying it one bit and to all the haters eat a 🍆

My experience with mafiabikes

I ordered a mafia bomma a couple of months ago and it was all ok until the chain snapped so i had to get a new chain put on, no big deal but not until my freewheel broke and started spinning both ways, that means that you can pedal it but the rear wheel won't move at all, so i attempt to fix it but there is no possible way to remove it since there is no dimples on the freewheel and a freewheel tool cannot remove it either. Took it to evans cycles and they can't fix it 🤦. I need help urgently like a new rear wheel i could purchase

Rust

Purchased a madmain bmx from mafia bikes only for it to go rusty in 18 months. It’s was kept inside but obviously got wet during normal use. The chrome has blisters all over the bike and now looks rubbish. My son is very disappointed with it and has spent ages trying to clean it up. All I got from the manager t mafia bike was shrugged off saying the chrome is not covered by the warranty. I’d understand that if it were it a place where it has been scratched or damaged and rust came through but this is everywhere!!! All over the bike like a bad case of chicken pox. So I would steer clear of mafia bikes as they are not built very well at all. Better off with spending your hard earn cash on a decent bike.

Ordered off Mafiabike.com everything…

Ordered off Mafiabike.com everything was easy to use having the option for PayPal was a plus. I ordered on Feb 11 around 3 o’clock my time. Got the order confirmation of the order same day. Here’s where I started to worry a bit I never received any tracking on my item. I waited a few day bc I know how shipping things goes sometimes. I waited a few more days then I went to the website and filed out the shipping form boom next day they were open I received and email with tracking sweet I saw the bike was gunna be here tomorrow which is today. Bike came well packaged I’m an auto mechanic so I went over everything right out of the box and everything checked out good no bolts were over tightened no scratches on anything very pleased. Now to some of the concerns I have for the bike the front wheel seems like it’s lacking grease in the bearings I’m afraid it may wear out prematurely. Now to the riding I hoped on after everything was checked over and tightened. Bike feels great a lot lighter then expected now mind you I haven’t been on a bmx in 13 years but hoped on can still do a few things I was proud of myself lol. But one thing I started to notice after a few Light (Cat walks / manuals) the center bearings in the sprocket started to make a lil bit of noise hoped off made sure everything was tight and chain was tight but not to tight the noise got better but still concerns me a little. But honestly other then a few little minor things i am very pleased with the product. I will pop up in a month or so to give an update but just wanted to say good job Mafiabikes/Stompgroup.

AVOID ANYTHING CHROME SOLD BY MAFIABIKE!!!

So....having saved up to buy my son a new BMX for Christmas the bike started to rust..... BADLY!!
The bike was a Mafiabike 18" Madmain in chrome.
It was used twice over a period of 4 weeks and after each occasion, was stored in the hallway of our house. I initially contacted Skatehut who informed me that I would need to complete a warranty claim form and that they would facilitate this, sending it on to Mafiabikes.
I did this, and included pictures of the rust (which was pretty much the whole frame and forks but worse around the thick welds).
Mafiabike response was this:

"Hi, thanks for the information. This is not a warranty case. This is surface rust from the bike not being dried properly after being in the rain. A nice brillo pad and GT85 can sort this out"

Customer service advice ?? Wow!!
I only wish I had read the reviews on here prior to purchasing what my son thought would be his dream BMX (which is also advertised and endorsed by a pro BMX rider). Cheap chrome that lasts a couple of weeks if taken out in the slightest of damp weather. Wouldn't mind if it was a cheap £100 Halfords bike but it cost £300, and to say I should be drying the bike off evertime it's taken outside is absolutely ridiculous!

Omg do not buy a mafia bike especially online. I brought my son a wheelie bike which cost £400 for his birthday and the chain snapped the bearings have fallen out the wheel. You can't even call them to speak to any body and you message them and they don't get back to you please don't waste your money. My son has been deverstated as we can't get it repaired as they don't sell wheels separate it's the worst online bike sales I have ever come across!!!!

Be Careful...

Be Careful.... I ordered item and it clearly stated delivery within 1-3 working days, This has now passed and item still not arrived, I have since contacted Mafia who state to allow 7 working days and if not received by then wait until 20 working days and then report to them, This is not good enough, I ordered in good faith as per there website and they have changed terms for delivery, Customer service is poor and once you have ordered they simply DONT CARE, be, please read other reviews as I am not only person with these issues and I wouldn't want anyone else to get caught out on the run up to Christmas!

Bought a mafiabikes kush 2 + in chrome…

Bought a mafiabikes kush 2 + in chrome about a year ago left in under the roof of our
Shed where it was fully under the roof. Rode it a few times and then went on holiday for about 2 weeks. Come back and not only had the chain and the brakes rusted th frame and the bars aswell. This just shows the bad quality of chrome used in the making. The chrome was the most expensive colour of the model. Not buying from them again.
